This might be a bit off topic, but I've been toying with the idea of making a site specifically for the sharing of costumes. And I would love you guys' input on what such a site should contain feature wise.
Ie. filters, theme, search by colours ect.

I think a costume site would be a great idea. And searching by theme or even Silver or Gold type costumes would be awesome. I think if a site like that existed, I'd spend more time submitting costume ideas I can't use than actually playing the game! As for Specs's costume, I'm working on combining elements of Mac Awol's awesome costume and the fifth one in my post. I also noticed that when I loaded Mac's costume, I got some options that I didn't have before, like a section exclusively for bracers and chest layer, stuff like that. Is that a Silver account limitation or am I just not looking carefully enough when I've loaded other costumes? EDIT: Oh, and are there any half-capes available for Silvers to use? I'm toying with the idea of giving Specs a small cape, even though I'm pretty anti-cape (you can strangle a hero pretty good with a cape... disliked them ever since The Watchmen...)

At Zedbrightlander's suggestion, I'm sharing the below. They were my favourite concepts for one of my characters, but remain unused only because they didn't quite fit her specific RP purposes. All of them remain a little unfinished, which I think is great for the Costume Exchange as they are just starting templates, as to make them truly your own. The Bat Yes, the inspiration was based on a classic dark design, slightly modified to better suit CO by making use of the Gradient colour scehems. I actually had 2 versions, the 1st being a comic book tights-style, the 2nd as a movie Kevlar Jumpsuit. The Spider This time, much more loosely inspired on another famous design. If I was to change this, I'd probably give her thigh-high long boots, just to give the legs some sense of contour. The Mosquito It started as a total joke, but the more I look at it, the more I like it. Of all the designs, I think this has the most unfulfilled potential. It definitely needs a better colour scheme, but here's an example I just thought of. Give her a skull emblem on her mask or torso, you can make the Death's Head Moth from Silence of the Lambs or something. The Clown Again, a classic design, there's an obvious reason why she's below the Bat. Needs a less grimdark colour scheme, but I think if I made an Inventor with wacky toys as weapons, she'd look something akin to this. The Psycho I pretended to be Frank Miller, writer/artist of Sin City, 300, and the Dark Knight Returns. Needs more detail, but the basics are there. If I made a Specialist, I'd probably use this as the basis, all katanas and guns. The Classic This is like a design from the 30's, because sometimes old school is best school. BONUS COSTUME This was something I was playing with, based on what I saw in a blog. Actually came from a comic as an alternate version of a famous character:

I'm back with two variants on Costume #5 mixed with Mac's costume: Tried going light. Used the Arcane pattern on the chest layer and inside stripes on the arms and legs, matching the light blue gradient on her stomach. Thought I'd try the stripes and gradients advice that Prince Mordred gave... This is a darker take on it, but not as dark as the original dark grey in Costume #5. Again, I used the Arcane pattern on the chest layer, but used a different kind of pattern on the arms and couldn't find much for the legs, so I just went with what I have here. Which one is better? (Are either of them good? How can I further improve this costume? ) Thanks guys! (Also, not1stepbackwards, all of those costumes for Bloodbath are awesome! But I do dig the new classic vampire costume she currently has.)

Have you considered giving her a halfmask?

Here are my efforts, any constructive criticism gladly received. First off is my demonic toon. This was an early attempt at a costume and as yet hasn't been used, so I don't have a name for him yet. Next is Ultraviolet, not sure whether to use this costume on a Mind or a Grimoire. Glow FTW! Finally my Inferno, Afterburner. Interesting trick - if you compete in the Hero Games a few times, you unlock the Luchador basic set, which includes the 'Oiled' options. If you select an Oiled head, you'll notice that the colour bars are glow-enabled, meaning that if you choose a pattern you can make it glow. Afterburner uses a jet-black Oiled Head with a red, orange and yellow Swirl pattern applied, and glow turned up to full.

Have you considered giving her a halfmask? Something like this? Does a smaller mask look better? It'd be easier to use; I wouldn't have to blend it with the rest of the costume... trequartista: Your demon is easily the best demonic costume I've seen. And Afterburner looks interesting too. I wonder how much he glows...

Back with some costumes to share. And I just realized about 10 minutes ago that I can access completely different options for costumes using drop down windows below the different costume part groups... :/ I'm still a noob at this, obviously! Based on The Spectre of DC Comics (which isn't where I got Spectre Girl from, believe it or not!) This would be an AU version of Spectre Girl, in which one of her nemeses (to be revealed at some point in the RP Forums), actually kills everyone in her little super-group, including her. Basically, Specs ditches her dead body and becomes a ghost for good, haunting her enemies as The Wraith, hence the new costume. If anyone can get any inspiration from it (I know it's a lot of black, but I think it works for the grieving, haunted ghost theme...) go ahead and alter it as you wish! This is Iron Cross, Welsh superhero and father of my character, the Grey Ricochet. His costume was inspired by Colossus, mainly... couldn't find any religious crosses to use as an emblem, so I used crossed swords. I guess it still works. He's able to turn his skin, muscle and bone into metal and would probably be a behemoth if I ever played as him (but I probably won't...) Feel free to alter if you like. (And his arms look a little short... )

I'm looking these over again. A few of these might help someone out when the need a Nemesis. The Clown and The Psycho almost certainly. Maybe I should begin a new thread to help folks looking for ideas for their next, or first, Nemeses. { thinks a moment } Naw. I let someone else worry about that. Good work, every body. So lately I've been getting quite a few compliments on my Zen Midnight costume, both from my SG mates and random people sending me tells about it. I thought I'd come down here and post my costume up so people can use it for some ideas or make alterations to it for their own use if they like. Zen Midnight: Some costume unlocks will be needed to use this. The armor is the Epic Samurai set from the C-Store, and the Mystic Strands cape comes from beating Dimensional Destroyer in the Qliphothic realm during Nemcon. The rest of the pieces can be used on a Silver account. Costume data: I also make all of my costumes in both male and female versions and then decide which one I want to play. Here's the female version if anyone is interested: I never actually made the female Zen, so I'm afraid I don't have any good shots of her. Anyways, hope you guys can get some good stuff out of these. Edit: Oh I forgot to mention, in the data files it has the armor set to the metal setting, but I later changed it at the tailor to cloth/matte settings since I didn't like how black metal looked kind of grey-ish. It didn't work too well with the black leather underneath.
