I have of course made tons of Toons. Guess I secretly like to play with dress-up dolls, maybe my facination of Sims should have made that obvious. This is Comrade Hammer.(She is a Power Armour/Might build. A combination I have found eliminates a lot of the Power Armour's disadvantage with it running systems simultaneously.) Aydian(My nutjob nemesis. I mean Pink and curls. I guess she is still playing little princess.) Here is the costume upload, if you really want to play a little princess. (Each to his or her own.)

Any critique on any of my costumes so far? Just in case there is a misunderstanding, I've edited the opening post on this page to include the remarks on the original TCE thread. I would ask everyone to (re)-read them. To be clear, the images you post to either of these TCE threads are meant to be shared, and/or used by anyone who visits the thread. If you have created something you wish to keep for you own purposes but intended to simply show off your creation(s), then we have a Show and Tell thread just for that. Introduction....of your Virtual Self champions-online.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=introductions&action=display&thread=25Sorry for any confusion on my part.

Oh, I don't mind people using it. I'm not in any way greedy with my creations ^^ After all imitation is the sincerest form of flattery right? ^^ If I can get critique to better my creation then I can hopefully make something that other people really enjoy and are inspired from =]

I am perfectly fine with people finding inspiration in my creation. I think it is the highest form for flattery. I just wanted to show you this circlet. Pretty creative.

Here is some images of my Ragman. His story being that he is one of deaths many incarnations. Both the costume pic, and an in-game shot.

Wow. I love the design of Ragman, he looks amazing. Got some real inspiration from that one.

Your armored toon are impressive to me. It might just be that my PC doesn't let my costumes show off the metallic gleams as yours system obviously allows. What colors did you begin with? I see teal and gold trim, but what is the base color? Is that shade of black or is it a kind of Midnight Blue? Either way, it's a nice combo.

I use midnight blue, and black between the gold and teal. And the armour lines that can be made to glow I make gold, and give it half the way.. all the way on the bar will make the gold be to dominating. And that armour is actually a wedged padded leather tights and make whatever else on it metal. Yeah, I spend a long time making my toons. Here you can get the image for the tailor

I gave Psimone a test drive and got the answer I had been guessing at. Here is your beautiful hero as seen on my PC. PC just cannot handle her beauty, I guess. Still, even om my PC she is a lot nicer than most of my toons. Would you do me a favor? Here is a toon I made. I call him Beamer. Beamer is supposed to look like the BMW automobile symbol. Also he was supposed to shoot beams. Force Beams perhaps, but fire or cold would do. Anyway, I tried to make him look as if he was metallic all over, but he does not look like he is metal on my PC. No shine, just the look of plain dull cloth on this end. Would you take him out for a test drive on your computer as I just did with Psimone on my system and make a cap of how Beamer looks to you on your system's screen? If he really does shine and gleam, I'd like to know. I'd like to know if I made garbage or if he looks actually better than I imagine. But it's okay if you don't have the time or the slot to test him on.

Well, as you requested: And yes, either you have some GFX settings, that prohibits you from enjoying the full range of effects, or, and we all know that problem, your GFX card is so old, that VGA is pushing it. Oh, and some of my designs have non-basic parts in them. I really wish you could see which is which, so designing TOONs for others enjoyment would be easier.

What I'd really like to see is a good mewtwo. I've got most of the body but the head is nearly impossible.
They need to make it where, if you attach cat ears or some other ear item, it at least gives the option of removing the default ears.

Well, as you requested: [ pardon my snip ] And yes, either you have some GFX settings, that prohibits you from enjoying the full range of effects, or, and we all know that problem, your GFX card is so old, that VGA is pushing it. Oh, and some of my designs have non-basic parts in them. I really wish you could see which is which, so designing TOONs for others enjoyment would be easier. Thanks! Good to know Beamer really is shiny in public. He's practically impressive. ;D He's at least as shiny as Comrade Hammer. And don't sweat it. I get by with my under powered PC. There's much to enjoy on CO even without seeing every shiny object. And I mean that. When I run the tutorial, the pods and alien consoles are basically cloaked. I can find them via sounds and an odd paint-like smear and finally clicking around once I know where to look for the objects that needs to be destroyed . Oh, and mail boxes and trash cans are invisible in that part of the game, too. How odd is that? And I can see them every locale I have been in except the tutorial, so it makes it doubly odd. I managed to get a look a the Qularr pods in a Youtube vid (never imagined them to be blue), but I still don't know what the Qularr console on the streets, look like. Like I said, I manage, but it would be nice to get a look at one some day. I'll keep browsing Youtube for tutorials that might show them in passing. In the mean time I enjoy the flying. Sometimes I just go into the game to fly up real high an look at the sky. Even put a screen cap of Zed floating in the Canadian sky at night. I amused myself another day by floating Zed above the fountain pretending that he was trapped in the jets of water. Like in one of the old Three Stooges comedy shorts. See. Even when Zed's not taking down the bad guys, he still having fun on CO. ;D Thanks again for making those caps.
