George - Everybody loves George! (Soldier) He's Level 8 but still in the Tutorial, becaue he's going for 5,000 Qularr kills for the Shotgun unlock! - EDIT - He got it this morning! Left the tutorial with his new (L40) shotgun, the (available now) costume unlocks, and started the game at level 9! - Go George! Recipe included: EDIT: For the perfectionists out there, notice he has his own style of gloves (color only modified to taste).

Reaver: If I was writing a story Reaver would be Prince Mordred's Nemisis, He will be the model for my first one...

Oops! Almost forgot my latest redo at the Marksman class - Amazon Sky. I tried several patterns on her starting with Barbie-doll painted with a red skeleton (but I don't own the skeleton yet), the I tried to go with tiger stripes - that almost worked, I kept trying, and finally got results I couldn't delete - my new 6th player! finitechess.com/cyberspace/hotlinx/Costume_Mordred9_Jungle Love_CC_Comic_Page_Blue_353718876.jpg[/img] (Mind Class)

And now... Just in time for Easter... The Milk Chocolate Bunny! ;D Also comes in Dark Chocolate. p.s. - I know the head is not a proper rabbit head, but for the purposes of a Chocolate Rampage, it'll do. Hey! That's not a bad name for a Behemoth Bunny! ;D So what would his battle cry be?

So what would his battle cry be? "GIVE ME MY CHOCOLATE CARROTS!" ... Yes, I suck at battle cries.

Don't know if this is the right place for it, but does anyone want to help me make a better 'ghostly' costume for Specs? I bought an extra costume slot (so I have three now...) and I have nothing in it. I've tried various options and color schemes to try and make her 'retro' tights and mask costume more 'ghostly'... but nothing I put together seems to work. I have a few examples of what I've already made, but would anyone be willing to give my ghost an appropriately ghost-like costume? I'd prefer nothing that shows a lot of skin (it's out of character for her) and preferably tights. I have the Variety Pack so you can definitely utilize that! Pics of costumes I've made: The one she started out in... very blah. Tried this one but the NPCs commented that it was the worst costume they ever saw, so I trashed it... Thought this one was too light... The one she currently wears all the time (it's the best one so far, I think...) Just made this one tonight... don't know if I like it yet...

I would recommend you keep the one with the padding and try making her skin color a shade or two paler.

I just messed a bit around with one of your costumes and I came up with this: Hope it gives you some more ideas.

I've also tried some experiments that way - nothing works real well...
The first thing I would try would be using either stripes or gradients with the outside stripes or gradients being a uniform black or gray - keep working with the 5th example in your original post - but also, you trying grays instead of blacks and also try gradient fades to shadow - see if anything works better.
Secondly, you could giver her an overcoat or a cape (changing the look now) or other aspects of costume or color in the non-faded areas.
A third trick you could try (if you're going this direction) would be to add shape-breakup clutter in the silhouetted/grayed areas, like Ghostjghost's Ragman on page 2 of this thread.
Hope that helps! I look forward to seeing her again if you get her the way you want her!

Since I learned I can only enter one Toon into the costume contest, I thought I better show you the one I rejected: Toxic Helena in her Cheerleader Uniform. Save the Cheerleader. Save the World. And as added candy: Comrade Hammer.
