Glad to see that I seem to have made the wise move by skipping the Level 13 Behemoth powers (I just did reach Level 13 on my main), they seemed a bit useless. Looks like Sho Nuff is a Devastator, I'm guessing, but it looks like the useless Level 13 powers principle still holds. Umm, what? There are no power picks at Level 13 for freeform or archetypes and Sho Nuff only shares one move in common with The Devastator Archetype. I'll assume you mean the Level 14 block enhancers on Archetypes. They are far from useless. Regarding the Behemoth, the Retaliation buff is ridiculous awesome. Sho Nuff needs energy more than damage, however, which is one reason he has Force Shield instead (theme being the other reason). In several earlier versions of Sho Nuff, Retaliation was the block of choice.

Sorry for mass confusion on my end. I meant 14, not 13. I honestly am such an old-school button-smasher that, to this point, with my Behemoth, I'm not blocking all that much, stocking up as much on endurance and constitution as possible.

If you ever decide to Tank with your behemoth you'll be blocking a lot more then and having the stronger blocks helps out. Also, with retaliation it's worth it (sayyyy, against SVs and MVs) to block a hit, then charge a big move (like roomsweeper) with the buff. Mmmmmmmmm, delicious damage. You should def give it a shot, IMO.

My only relevant question is does he have a Shogun of Harlem costume? I created one but never use it. Always tempted to slot it though. See, now that you've confirmed you've got one... we GOTTA see it.

can't do much with it thanks to ego. Though, I could be wrong, I don't think so though.

It's still very powerful, if not more powerful, thanks to the ego change. You just won't knock things as far with your Force powers.

Mechanically it will kill things faster because Force Cascade won't blast things out of range and you can immediately follow-up with other things such as a lunge stun. Thematically/conceptually/RP-wise, the ranged force is total weaksauce now. No visual punch with the lame knock distance. Is this ^ your latest build and would you recommend it over your first build? Yes it's the latest build. Depends on what you want. Each of the builds in this thread is for a slightly different playstyle. The lastest build is de-emphasizing Force Cascade since the recent nerf to STR neutered it in this build.

Gotcha! So ranking up Force Cascade would be pointless? I usually don't care too much about travel speed and was trying to figure out another spot to put the advantage points.

It still does great damage and since things aren't blasted out of range you can probably "double tap" them. They just won't go flying half a mile anymore and the fall damage isn't as great (not that it was ever needed).

So that means Sho Nuff is NOT retired ? Hope you made your peace with the changes because it really makes me a little sad to see your current signature at the Cryptic Forum
