I saw you last night vision, at the tailor in VB, looking all persian and stuffs. Hahaha, yeah I managed to get some playtime last night and was working on some bellydancing outfits for Bray. Now I have one with her regular black and gold colors, and second one with purple and black SG colors and matching skull (SG emblem) necklace, plus a couple of non-persian outfits using persian stuff on the works ;D I might consider making a second version of my main just to work on more outfits. My costume slots are already full of stuff I don't want to get rid of and I'm not buying more costume slots till they bring back account wide. |

I am soooooooooo pissed right now... just taking a look at the forums and I was going to ask melkathi to change his sig since it's looking for trouble.
I was gonna start a thread asking some folks to cool it because there is a distinct difference between the dissappointments wrought by the Ask Cryptic vs the stupidity brought about by the new rules.
But now? Screw it. After all the blowhard bull*censored* yesterday to see that people are still constantly and consistently breaking the rules that Pax and I have have been banned for, and Stormshade's cute little "we're watching you" bull*censored*, I am pissed.
I want to be clear, I don't wish any infractions on anyone, especially for the stupid crap that's been pulled, but this inconsistancy is crap. For over a year now it's been all buddy buddy and letting *censored* slide, then for all of 3 hours we see the hammer come down and today it's like nothing happened? *censored* that.
Especially since I didn't break the goddamn rules.
Short version:
Pax used a meme, community rep misunderstood, he got in trouble. Cut to months later, when he points this out to the Cryptic employee as an example of when moderation goes wrong he get's banned for posting "Private Correspondence" which he shouldn't have recieved in the first place.
My story- I posted after someone Necro'd a thread to inform them it was against the rules and punishable by banning. I got an infraction for that, except I don't know what for since the email I recieved was blank, no explanation. This thread I posted in? Had been active for 2 days, and the post before mine was less than 30 minutes old.
Following this I posted in the Rules announcement thread linking to the post as an example of how 30 days wasn't enough, and that according to the rules everyone in that thread post-necro was breaking the rules as well and it would make more sense to lock the damn thing rather than to allow more players to screw themselves. For this, I got a ban. Not once did I mention that the player who necro'd got an infraction, not once did I mention that I got an infraction, not once did I mention that any sort of moderation had occurred, and the only moderation that did occur is Wishstone saying she would close the thread after I had already been banned for "referring to moderator action" and then the thread remained open. I had stated prior to all this that 30 days was not enough. Stormshade quoted and replied to this, but never addressed the point that got me banned, and promptly closed the thread.
Stormshade, if you and the Cryptic teams are watching, are you actually paying attention? Because it doesn't seem that way.
And again, just as I and others had stated before that any review by the Atari team meant dick, it has.
What's funny is that I can totally see myself getting banned for numerous other postings I've made over the past year, and I could accept that. I'll take heat when I did something wrong, I'll admit my mistakes when I've made them, but in this case I didn't and others are continuing to get away with much worse.
I love CO, and I love the Dev team, but the community team is full of *censored*. I'm done with those forums. Hopefully these will thrive.
And that whole "Posting Private Correspondence" bull*censored*? Yeah, now I did it. But not on the CO forums. Cryptic can't set the rules here, but that I'm sure that won't stop them from coming up with some other stupid ass illogical infraction that didn't occur or making up rules as they go along.
Anyway that's the last from me on that. Hope to see the rest of you guys in game.

Don't worry about me, Pion It was a calculated gamble. What is happening is exactly what I expected to happen. The community team remembers their job for all of 5 minutes and then slinks away again into the shadows. I am pretty safe right now. As long as I take the sig down when Pax's ban is over I doubt anything will happen to me... |

I had a link i my sig for "Remember Daeke" for 6 months after he got canned. You think a little think like "UNBAN PION AND PAX" in my sig (yes i copied it) is going to worry me? MUHAHAHA!  Not going to happen  Pax helped me out when i needed it in the game, and i respect him as a forum poster  Pion, well he's just Pion  |
