Well. Having just been (predictably, given the recent "new rules" nonsense) banned from the CO forums ... here I am.
Anyone else abandoning ship over there, to head over here instead?

Heya Pax,
Sorry for the ban. It wasn't totally unexpected that something like this would happen, but still took me a bit by surprise seeing two (that I know of*) frequent posters from the CO forums get banned just one day after the new rules and infraction policy came into effect, and apparently for bringing up valid concerns. I commented about it at the Rules thread, but edited my post later cuz I was breaking the rules myself just by commenting on the issue. Luckly, I just got a warning from StormShade, but no infractions for my post.
*between not being happy about the bans and being busy at work today, I haven't had much time to spend on forums, so maybe more people have been banned.

As Lohr said, I am here as many more are. When I saw you and Pion banned, that was it for me. Cancelled my sub and walked away from those forums forever.
Not forever for the sub. I am holding out to see if they learn any lesson from this or not. I will not, however, go back to the forums.

Show them what they did. If they change their attitudes, I will play again. Well I'm already boycotting the store for other reasons but I do hope they get the message and soon. |
