so as an interesting side note...we mentioned last night to GG (in SGoC chat) that the moderation seems a little heavy handed after two respected forumites got banned and he said he was going to talk to someone today.
In case people don't know GG = H2orat.
He also mentioned that the teaser trailer for Resistance is almost done and that the first comic series will be follow up to Demonflame and Serpent Lantern.

On the one hand, it makes me blush to be called a "respected forumite". Known and recognised is more than enough for me.  On the other hand ... I don't expect anything much to come of it. Pion and myself will still have our 10 infraction point, because there is no way in the Nine Hells that those points will be reversed. That would require them to admit - publicly - that they were wrong and excessive. Which doesn't seem like something they're inclined to do, now or ever. And yes, I've already appealed the 10-pointer given to me. Yes, the appeal was denied. No, you don't get to know who is doing the review, so for all they SAY it's not the same person who gave me the points (Tiyshen), there's no proof of that. Yes, I'm paranoid about this sort of thing. Prior negative experiences (with the same general situation, across multiple internet fora) will tend to do that to a person, after all. I don't blame you pax, I really don't. I woke up in the middle of the night and had the odd revelation about the whole personal information thing.
Oh yeah, GG mentioned that the April Ask Cryptic sucked compared to what they have in the pipeline.

Oh yeah, GG mentioned that the April Ask Cryptic sucked compared to what they have in the pipeline. So, they are intentionally withholding information while the community falls apart? I am now solidly convinced that the plan is to allow the game to fail to the point where there is no subscription options and you are forced to buy from the C-Store to finance other games. |

He didn't say why it sucked, only that it did. I honestly think it's lack of of a community team and a couple of other things that are going on.
Random oberservation, I wonder if the new implementation of the rules has anything to do with Tumerboy's lack of posting now.

Yah I just noticed that. Eff them, they don't want to answer any more questions about it and I'm not going to open a ticket on their system for it. They just lose me as a member.

It is the same situation as pre-release when they announced the C-store. Number of threads cropping up. Flame war. Jack making an official thread where he would gather questions and answer - and never showed up again. And then Wishstone came and merged all threads into one. |

And the logic didn't make any sense, so I pointed that out. Haven't heard back, and honestly I don't expect to, nor for the ban to be lifted. At this point I just want to understand the logic.
