Can someone tell Tammy Waffles to prepare herself to update her AT builds?

I was able to still be ok for the most part without changing anything. I definitely can't solo gravitar anymore though; she just kicked the crap out of me very easily.
I dunno about ATs, It's gonna be rough.

I'm about to long on and check my Tempest and Master. I just recently kitted my Tempest out in Heroic gear and slotted Gambler's Gems for dodge rating. Gonna check what the damage is now that the nerf is live.

Yup, it went live. Despite using the free retcons to make some changes on a few toons last night, none of the changes were dodge related. Every build tested performed pretty much the same as when tested on PTS after the nerf and on live prior to the nerf which is to say still stomps stuff and still hard to kill by anything that's not designed for a team (and honestly a lot of them are hard to kill still even when soloing team stuff). But the next round of proposed nerfs may actually change that.

I took a brief look at some of the changes last night and tested my main dodge character a bit in the PH. I am underwhelmed. Except when I saw my main main's crit chance had dropped from 51% to the high 40s. That whelmed me a little.

I was chilling today with Kurobasa, playing my Unleashed. I didn't really notice a difference, but probably because Kuraobasa's Iron Panzer was doing a great job tanking. I'm guessing my Crits were less, because I usually pull agro with my damage spikes, but it's all good.
On an unrelated note, I just came back from a new bar. They had some great pulled pork, some really outstanding beers, I'm sure some was that hipster microbrewery stuff, but they had this epic hazelnut-based stout, oh my god. The best part, a real nice pecan pie.
My point is, when you're in China and you find a place that serves good pulled pork, beer, pecan pie, a nerf in some game don't matter so much. It's literally down from my street, I live on a hill. Going back tomorrow night just for a beer and pecan pie.

And the offense/crit change went live as well, it's just that it hasn't been indicated.

Decided to take one of my freeforms into AA to solo Valerian Scarlet on Elite to test the changes since the powerhouse just isn't strong enough. Haven't made any adjustments to the character and the fight that used to be very easy is now a huge pain. i'm not sure if its dodge not reducing some of the large spikes or if the fight itself has been changed but i've died at the last 20% 3 times now. Shes doing something i don't remember seeing before, half way through the last segment of her HP bar she grows very large and hits a lot harder. i had been healing more than i was used to already and the additional spike damage for the last portion of the fight had me completely on the defensive spamming heals to stay hover at 50% hp until she crits and i died.
My dodge rate dropped to about 24% from somewhere in the 40s, crit chance unbuffed is 34% but i don't have any recollection of what it was prenerf.
One thing i am sure of is that i will need to make changes before i attempt Vikorin again.

Sounds like her enrage timer is hitting.

I'm with Towershield as I think it's her Enrage timer with her growing big. But that is interesting information.
It's because, in the past, I reckon you defeated her so fast, her Enrage didn't kick in yet. I THINK it's designed so that if you play Tank characters and you have this "slow & steady" grinding approach, she basically negates it by becoming uber if you take too long. So the new changes (which I'm still trying to understand) have affected your character's DPS so much it took you that much longer to beat her. Or maybe it just forced you to play so much more defensively, you can't go all out like before.
What do you think, underwerekng? Was it a defense issue? Or an offense issue? Or both? To my understanding the changes affected all these factors.
---
But overall, how have the changes been? Particularly for us Archetype players? I'm guessing I may have to swap some gear around. Armadillo for perhaps Samurai, Gambler's Gems for something else on certain ATs. I've seen some posts in the official forums, but what's the real deal pls?

After banging my head against the wall for a bit trying to kill her i finaly managed to work out a strategy.
Yes it was a 10 minute enrage timer that was taking me out, there were a couple deaths from bad crit streaks but mostly it was the enrage timer. My guess is a combination of slightly reduced DPS from crits and a significantly reduced survivability due to dodge which lead to more time healing and less time DPSing. Dodge and Avoidance was a way to reduce the damage spikes but with the changes both my dodge chance and the amount it mitigates are reduced so i spent more time healing and had 2-3 stacks of BCR running. not sure if the 10% damage reduction stacks but i changed my binds to use BRC less and just spammed Conviction every 3 seconds. Even without her enraged the damage i was taking went up the lower her HP went. The winning combo was ranged dmg role till shes at 1/3 HP then switching to Hybrid role and spamming heals (including BCR), killed her with 40 seconds to spare but there were some close calls.
I'll need to figure out a way to increase my survivability without dodge, maybe Defense (currently 160.5, 38% damage reduction) or Evasive Maneuvers/Breakaway Shot. And also an alternative to BCR because the dmg reduction sucks.
All that said i really cant complain about not being able to solo a 5 man boss on elite with my eyes closed. i don't consider these changes to be pure evil/spawn of satan/end of the world because i can understand some of the reason behind them, but that makes it no less annoying.

Okay, I checked my main, the max level Tempest AT known and loved as the pun-delivering smartass Sam Sparx, and my mid-level Master AT, Satoru Masamune. These are the two toons of mine most likely to be affected by the nerf.
First, the good news. Satoru got buffed a fair bit by the change to Lightning Reflexes giving a flat dodge rate instead of dodge chance; Rank 3 at level 28 has him with 50% dodge rate and 55% avoidance. Gear isn't a factor in that since he's wearing a full Armadillo 6-piece gear set to make him even more tanky, but some of his specializations and advantages can buff his dodge pretty nicely. Masterful Dodge jumps him up hugely with +250% dodge rate, for instance, and it's still at Rank 1. So for any build made SPECIFICALLY to use LR and focus on dodging, this nerf is actually a decent buff.
Now for the bad news. In September, I finally got around to getting some Heroic gear for Sam, which I put Rank 6 Gambler's Gems in. The helmet I got was the Heroic Helmet of Utility, and I slotted it for cooldown reduction so I could spam Ball Lightning more often. That one is fine. The gloves I have are Mercenary's Gloves of Offense I got as part of a vehicle trade, and I slotted them for crit chance with, of course, a Gambler's Gem; I wanted more crit punch with my Gigabolt. I'm gonna need to grind up some Questionite to unslot the Gambler and swap it out for an Impact Prism to buff Offense since my crit chance plummeted from 74% to 19% with the nerf. I'll also need all new secondaries since my current set is random purples that each buff one Super Stat and crit chance. Finally, my chestplate is a Heroic Breastplate of Agility, slotted with the ubiquitous Gambler for dodge chance. This one was REALLY useful for keeping me alive in Alerts, NemCon, Adventure Packs and the like. It had my dodge up to 48% with 35% avoidance, which was far from being overpowered, but enough to make a distinct difference on an AT known as much for its squishiness as for its DPS. I'm going to need to grind Q to unslot the Gambler and replace it with an Impact, just like on my gloves, since dodge is now useless to a Tempest and we have to hope that buffing Defense will prevent the 5 different one-shot kills I got in Alerts last night.
I still have to check out how the nerf hit my other dodge-reliant AT, my Unleashed. But since it seems that dodge is now garbage unless you have a passive and specializations that specifically enhance dodge, I'm not looking forward to it.

I've just patched my game and logged into CO, will take me a while to go through my ATs and make changes in recommendations.
Update: All my AT guides are revised as necessary.

Thanks for the update Tammy. Took some of my freeforms through Gravitar. Doesn't feel too different, just have to pay even more attention than before. Took my Unleashed and Glacier out for a few alerts, they don't feel much different as well. Have yet to try out my other toons without self-heals so let's see.
