My only real squishy is the Soldier AT. She's built for Con/defense from a some time. I don't expect her working different. Same goes for the Disciple.
My Unleashed? I've always considered this archetype as a joke. She was made only from sheer curiosity how bad this AT is and left to rot in the darkest corner of my account. No harm done to something like that.
But then, recently I've moved almost entirely to STO and it's hard for me to justify playing CO. Difference between number of activities and incentives for actually playing between these two games are staggering.
I'd care more about CO changes if this game was more appealing to play.
I may log into CO for RP from time to time. Otherwise... *shrug*

Haven't taken my soldier out for a spin yet, though I built her for Con and agility so she'll probably suffer a little or perhaps not so much as this toon still does a lot of damage pretty fast.
Meegatron, I understand the unleashed is inspired by a jedi. Though its passive, stats, heal and powers don't synergize all that well, still, I find it one of the easier AT to use. Just curious, why do you feel so toward this toon? I tried STO once and probably would have enjoyed it if I had stayed, as I was a fan of the original, Next Generation and Voyager series. What kept me form continuing was the thought of having to learn another game/power system all over again, I was new to CO then and found the system already intimidating enough seeing as CO was my first mmo, so I didn't push through with it. Though I can see why people would like STO as there seem to be a lot to do in the game.
On an unrelated note, earlier tonight, I must have spent over an hour or two in the character creator experimenting with costume ideas, Gave my main, a Grimoire, a slight overhaul with her costume, surprisingly enough, that made me excited to utilize her more often.

Just curious, why do you feel so toward this toon? The very fact that it's a cheap Jedi knock-off speaks volumes of Cryptic and their desperation when this AT was released. It was a move like "oh, oh, we beg you, look at our game, we will give you almost-Jedi for free! Don't leave us for SWTOR!". And then SWTOR went f2p anyway. This thing doesn't belong to comic book universe, and not to Champions Universe. It's just the most pathetic, the most desperate attempt at advertising ever. Its build has little synergy and worthless passive. Its like two OP attack powers and one random self-heal kept together with duct tape and tissue paper. Now without bandaid of dodge gear its heal is no longer that good. And now lack of lunge on a very fragile melee AT will be even more visible. But what makes the Unleashed even more laughable is, that devs tried to replicate, to the some extent, one of pvp builds used back then by freeforms (but breaking it a bit). Which had very bad outcome for AT pvp when, for some time, everyone new and their cat played this AT. In the end Unleashed proved to be as beatable as any other AT, but damage to AT pvp was already done. At least for me, this AT is a nice demonstration of few Cryptic mistakes and their approach to CO. So yeah, I am biased towards this AT. I can't feel sorry for any Unleashed hit by changes. It's petty and selfish attitude, but I can't help it. :X +edit: Actually, every time when I'm looking at my Unleashed I'm closer and closer to deleting her and replacing with the Blade. Currently she's used almost exclusively as a female dummy for RP stuff - when I need generic female NPC.

Except when The Unleashed was...unleashed, CO wasn't in as bad a spot as you seem to believe it was. 2011 was a pretty decent year for the game and good number of ATs were released, some of which had themes that meshed with the release of other media. Why single out this AT when others are just as blatant about their inspirational origins?
Say what you will about build synergy but at least try to more thoroughly research what you're trying denounce and not just say whatever sounds like it will support your argument.

It was the only AT blatantly related to another MMO. The Invincible and the Night Avenger were related to superhero movies, which was a rather smart move, considering CO genre. The Radiant was likely released to fill the gap in AT builds for On Alert.
So yeah. I still call this AT either a sign of desperation, or just cheap trick move upon release of SWTOR. I don't see any need for more research. YMMV.

I've just patched my game and logged into CO, will take me a while to go through my ATs and make changes in recommendations. Update: All my AT guides are revised as necessary. I just wanted to say thanks a lot, Tammy. Not only did you check back for this change, but the turnaround time was amazing. Initially, I wanted to say "thanks, take your time," then I played with my cat and you already updated your stuff. Going to check it out.

You can call it whatever you want but you're favoring the opinions you've formed from a personal distaste over actual facts. The Devastator and Invincible get a free pass because they pull from comic books but a Star Wars-themed AT gets snubbed because of a trite double-standard. Just because an AT was released when the other MMO was released and pulls inspiration from the same IP does not mean it's ABOUT that MMO. The Unleashed namesake refers to The Force Unleashed which predates the MMO by a couple of years and is the only Star Wars game where the character you play has such a ridiculously strong connection to the Force and wields both it and a set of dual lightsabers so effortlessly that he may as well have been a DC charcter. Pulling massive starships out of orbit with Space Telekinesis and cutting bloody swaths through legions of stormtroopers is much more akin to comicbook fiction than the sci-fi drama stories you play through in SWTOR. Yes, it was released the day before SWTOR launched. Yes, it definitely draws inspiration from Star Wars. No, it wasn't trying to make a blatant connection to SWTOR, but a different game altogether, a game that uses a character concept that blends in well with a comicbook backdrop. Is this a bad thing? Of course not. It brought people to the game which, last I checked according to the doomcrying, is supposed to be a good thing.

No, it wasn't trying to make a blatant connection to SWTOR, I find very hard to believe that it wasn't connected with SWTOR release exactly because of when this AT was released. Just saying. But I repeat, YMMV. I stand with my opinion.

An update: I've completely re-geared the ATs in my lists and posted screenshots of the final stats for each. The gearing setup is also listed in detail in each guide. This should give Silver players a reasonable idea of how viable each AT can be under the new changes. For more info, refer to this post: Link

If we have questions, would you prefer we ask in this thread, or in the actual guides pls? I'm going to compare your guide to my build later, but I already noticed a difference and wondering if that's a result of the nerf dodge.

I will answer questions posted in either, but posting in the guides thread may be useful for future references. I'm going to compare your guide to my build later, but I already noticed a difference and wondering if that's a result of the nerf dodge. Perhaps some changes, some others just needed a bit of revision. If there's anything specific, just ask.

Ok, I know it is a little late but only now had time to play CO decently: did about a dozens of alerts and Mega Destroid open missions and conclude that: ... not feel any difference.
My glass cannon remain glass cannon, my main still invincible, my tank continues with low dps but with high survival. although he highly depends on the Critical Rate to regain health, and the chart show a drop of 41% to 28% crit chance, he soloed MegaD and tanked Gravitar as always did.
If there is something to note, seems to me that the mob are dying much faster now than before ...

Quarry builds got hit the most. I can DEFINITELY feel it, I cannot tank Grav anymore, she just inta-gibs me once everyone else is down. And the crit rate definitely went way down as well. I corrected the crit cut by changing to ego now. DEX primary is almost useless now. If you've got a DUC, it pretty much is. You get better everything else w/ego. As for my ATs, I can barely play them; they die constantly even in alerts. But I couldn't bother changing the EQ on them, it's a void, and a grimoire; and they're both equally terribad. It's extremely frustrating to even try to do the 3x alert 2000q dailies on them, after playing a properly power'd character(FF), there's just absolutely no comparison.

To be fair though Quarry was never meant for tanking and Affie's min/maxed build and setup was exactly the kind of build the devs were aiming at with this nerf. Absolutely sucks when you get such a direct hit with the nerf bat though.
After being freeform for so long I can say that going back to some ATs was hard, squishy DPS based ones in particular. Usually I'd build in defenses for my FF DPS toons so I took me a long time to get back into the right playing mindset when you really are that fragile. It was so hard to not just leap in on "Day at The Mall" but to wait until others had threat before firing up, minimising my AoE attacks to only pull one mob at a time. I can't imagine how much harder that would be when you are used to running a legion/vigilante bedecked min/maxed freeform.
I've gone through the Radiant, Unleashed, Soldier, Glacier ATs and I gotta say I'm in agreement with Tammy. If you are running an AT and only using gear up to R5s, Heroic Primaries and Purple secondaries (and/or heirloom/Q store 'sets' during levelling) then you are losing a bit of crit & dodge but the offense changes do seem to be covering the crit losses and stacking more Con is working to cover the dodge loss. I haven't taken any of these ATs against Gravitar yet but I would have expected a direct hit from Gravitar to insta-faceplant the Radiant and Soldier before the recent nerf and the Unleashed and Glacier might just survive one but not two rapid hits. The chatter I've been hearing though seems to indicate that's still the case. I'm running Marksman, Mind, Grimoire next.
On a brief aside I should be resubbing again soon so I'll be able to access the PTS and hopefully be able to update the AT guide builds I've worked on. (Specialist, Fist, Mountain, Behemoth, Mind etc.)
