Since yesterday (so that's about 24 hours) I've been unable to connect to the game. I get a little window that says "Trying to update the launcher. Please be patient." Eventually it says "Tried connection 2 times". Then, eventually, up comes an error window which says "Unable to establish connection to Patch Server..." My internet connection is fine, I've been playing Champions Online for months - this is something that just seems to have happened. I note that I also can't get to any www.champions-online.com sites, either. Is this some problem with Champions Online? I can't find any talk about it online, but I can't see how it could be at my end, either.

Must be at your end. I've been playing CO all week (including last night untill 11pm EST and right now) with no issues. There are a lot of people on both forums that have been online as well.

Hey Kenpo! Well, im also experiencing the same issues as budfudder. Ive been playing for months too, and im also unable to go to the champions websites. Is this some sever update/issue Cryptic has? Jee, i'll really like to get back to playing.

I'm doing fine myself. I did have some crazy bad lag on Thurs night though, maybe its related somehow.

Thanks, kenpo. A bit more information - I was actually playing at the time 'something' happened. I finished a mission, and went to the exit, fine. While it was loading as I exited, it just...stuck. Didn't load for about five minutes, so I closed the client. Went to restart it...and my problems started. That was nearly 48 hours ago, and since then it's been the same every time. In the same time, I've not been able to get to any of the following websites: www.champions-online.com/www.atari.com/support/champions_onlineforums.champions-online.com/showthread.php?t=26785They all just time out. Of course, I'm happily getting to other websites just fine, and playing other MMOs just fine. Do you have any suggestions? Since the website isn't available I can't even talk to tech support. Do you have (or can you get, since you can get to the website) an email address for support?

I have the same problem, cant log in for 24 hours and I can not load the CO web site either. I can not get any support.

I have the same problem here. This doesn't just apply to CO pages, but everything associated with Cryptic including: www.startrekonline.com/crypticstudios.com/etc... It is not an ISP or setting issue. I have this same problem on three different computers, three different browsers, and two different ISPs... Any news on the forums from those of you who seem to still have access? Maybe some help with contacting support since none of us can?

I would love to get an answer to this, I just paid for a lifetime membership a few weeks ago. Now I can not load anything Atari related.

I am also having this problem. I can't access the game or the website either It was working perfectly fine a few days ago, but it seems this new patch (?) has stuffed it up for me.

Can anyone verify that Atari websites and the game are actually online? I tried 4 different computers and none of them will load CO or any Atari websites. I would think there would be a lot more discussion if Atari was completely offline for more than 24 hours.

Got these off a cached version of a forum post. I have a ticket number now and am waiting for a response from cryptic. I suggest everyone affected send off a ticket to the support address as well and try to get their attention.
