Let that be the lesson to you kids out there... ALWAYS CHECK EVERY HEROES INVENTORY BEFORE DELETING THEM! NO MATTER HOW NEW THE HERO! I actually always do that. This was one of those moments. It was like pushing the car door closed even in the very instant you spot the keys still in the ignition (or in the cup holder). Zed, I just heard about this and even I felt heartbreak from here. Very sorry to hear that. I also know one day I, too, will make a similar mistake. It'll either be a Vehicle or like my Super Magnifier device, since I make new alts for Costume Contests and sometimes I use the Super Magnifier. I absolutely believe it's as you say, it will be of those moments. But thanks for sharing this hard-earned lesson. We get learned when we get burnt, and this was a potent reminder. Sympathy is always welcome. But I felt, no matter how embarrassing my experience was, I HAD to share it to remind everyone to be careful. Ok then, get with me; I'll get you to someone that can fetch whatever you want off the ah. XS If you say Widow with a kit, then I'll get a Widow and a kit. Since it come with the Gravity Pulse Mark 1 and I can gather more Enemy Hull Scanner 6 (I was wrong. I do need a few more 5s to make another 6). I kind of like doing the Burst Alerts and free ranging for Arms boxes om MI and Canada (Even Lemuria sometimes). I also do a lot of UNITY Missions. Since I'm a Perk Junkie I need to range allover to kill 5000 of every villain group to get my Rogues Gallery Perks. It's the great activity when waiting for the next Alert to pop. Besides, if it takes me a while to get back to where I was with the Hawk II, it will reenforce the lesson of BE CAREFUL to myself. August (when I'll be Gold again) will come soon enough and then I will be able to get whatever I need in the AH for a Widow II regardless of price.

Me, @temporia, @glass-rose, and the chinese batman teamed up to rebuild you something; It's got pretty much everything it needs; ready to go. All it needs is the kit to update it; and then putting it back together after.
Get with me in game; and I'll hook you up.

Zed, XStorm really lead this initiative to put a new Vehicle together for you. It's like one of those PBS fundraisers crossed with Pimp My Ride.
This was a really fun event, thanks to XStorm. I can't believe some of the deals he swung. It was some 7 loaves and the fish miracles he pulled.

Holy crap! I really did not know that you guys had gone to so much trouble. I briefly spoke to XStorm in game, I said that I'd already made plans to buy the Widow. I had no idea you had moved Heaven and Earth to get me a replacement vehicle. Now I feel bad for having turned down XS's offer of help. Seriously. You guys are special guys. There is a word I rarely use. Mensch. It's a Yiddish word. A really good friend of mine, who is Jewish, once told me I was a mensch, and went on to describe all of the qualities necessary to be a true mensch and why it is a rare thing for him to offer the complement. Once I understood how serious he was with his complement, I promised myself that I would only ever use it when it felt right. Well, it feels right to say that each and everyone of you guys is a Mensch.

Okay, here it is. The Best Fire Ant II EVER! - - Mission Accomplished! Now if you guys ever need any Mods or ANYTHING. Just ping me. If it is in my bank it yours. I'm serious XS, @temporia, @glass-rose, and the chinesebatman PM me in game if you need something. Any of you guys know Rhyatt ( AKA Lokikin ). He did one nice thing for me when I first joined CO and every event since I stuff his inbox with my extras (he's got a kid who also plays, so he can always use the extras). Now if you will excuse me, I've got a new hero that wants to take a Bike Ride all the way to level 40. I will NEVER delete this hero/bike - NEVER I TELL YOU! <---- knocking wood, crossing finger, rubbing rabbit's foot, kissing St. Christopher's metal, rubbing a Buddha's belly, touching a four-leaf clover...

The Webspeller is currently riding Zed B. bike. While cleaning out The Cobra Lords territory, she stops her heroics to check out their bikes and voice her opinion of their bikes as compared to hers. - - Perhaps it the color she's not impressed with.

So, now that we got the fundraising out of the way: will I lose any mods present on the vehicle if I use the Tune-Up kit on it?

All right. Guess I'll just need to clear up 7 inventory spaces for the pieces, though.

I've been thinking about trying Resistance again. Do Bike work in Resistance? I know that if you accept the Queen City missions series you must use a TP or hoof it. (only crazy people huff it in this game, right?) Places that I know a hero can use a Veh. are: Mil City, Canada, Desert, Monster Island. I have not tried Lemuria or Vibora Bay Apocalypse or Vibora Bay (post crisis). Or any of the Comic Series. It'd be cool if it worked in Resistance.

Vehicles works in Resistance's 1st Act, when you're sabotaging the stuff in New Harmon. Until you sneak into the tunnels, obviously. Theoretically a good way to get Dark Speed. We used to farm lots of XP and Gs off the Resistance Mega-Ds, but/thus the Devs stripped them of such.
Vehicles work in Lemuria and Vibora Bay post-crisis, exactly as you say. I particularly favour the Gravity Pulse in Lemuria, as it works on enemies above and below you as well.

I particularly favour the Gravity Pulse in Lemuria, as it works on enemies above and below you as well. Glad to hear it works in Lemuria. Maybe I can finally complete Ship of Fouls without dying five to ten times. The GP is showing itself to be great every where. Hold the button down for long enough time and it always seems to drop the items close by. Unless you tap it or an enemy forces your hero to break from using it, of course. Just finished Fallen Sun Forest, in record time I might add. Even completed Reign of Frogs easily. But every once in a while a Frog would hit back and only then did they go flying. Still, it beats all of the drop chasing I used to have to do with my Behemoth while I was leveling. These days, I mainly use my Behemoth to pick up the heaviest object just to remind new players that a hero can have awesome strength. Since Mr. Funsocks is no longer playing CO, one day I'll put together a set of Primaries for Zed Mightlander all about becoming a Titanic (320) Strength hero. Just because he can.

As for HOW an idiot deletes a bike... Well, it happens when he creates a new hero, moves the bike onto it and then decides against the new hero and then forgets to remove the bike before deleting said hero. I could blame my wife for the distraction, but that would be unfair. It was ALL me and ALL stupidity. OUCH!! I feel your pain Zed, I've also made the same mistake in the past but did not lose much unless a become Command leader who used to fly from one side to another and about 100K questionite once that used the char to farm Kevin Poe Glad to hear that everything turned out well and with great help from the community
