Maybe they lost their way to their own site with the new minimap?
EU seems to be the ones that are affected by it. Or prone to it at least.

Just checking in to say that the official site, forums, and launcher are still dead from where I am.
The official site redirects to godaddy, the forums and launcher both give a 404.

is dead too from where i am but if you do what i posted you can play. It seems like cryptic forgot to pay the renewal of the domain. when you type www.champions online.com your computer ask for the ip associated to that name. When they do not pay you get a fake address that points to godaddy. They have already payed but your "internet yellow pages" get updated like every 48 hours. In every operating system there is a override file to put it on your own. If you do the steps posted you command to your computer to overlook the "ask to the internet" part and use the override setting only to the sites listed on the file. do it and you can play right now. When all gets to normal simply edit the file again and delete the line. No need to reboot.

Not to disparage your attempt to help at all (indeed, I thank you for being so nice), but if you check my first post in this thread you might see me talking about "DNS propagation times" - from this you might conclude that I know what the problem is.
I was just leaving a note to let Tumerboy or any other dev that reads these boards know that as of just now it's still not working for everyone.
I'm at work for the next several hours so I can't play anyway.
