I will wager it's a result of paperwork and clerical stuff missed during the transfer from Atari. Still sloppy and kinda unprofessional but poo happens. So long as they can fix it quick it's just an embarrassing snafu. (I won't be buying any more C-Points for some time anyway.) And what timing ... They were probably still recovering from the last forum meltdown and said "f**k it! I'm not going to pay to deal with this crap!" Seriously, though, Champions has been lagging behind badly enough in their marketing and public image to have their site down like this--in the freaking Holiday season. Its bad. Especially for a F2P game you have to DL from their site to play.

I am seriously questioning the renewing of my monthly subscription. This is not good.

It's odd. If I go to champions-online.com I get godaddy. If I go to forums.champions-online.com I get my ISP's default "this page does not exist" page. But if I go to www.champions-online.com I get the main site. Bizarre. EDIT: I'm also noticing it keeps going up and down. Sometimes the site comes up and sometimes it goes to godaddy.

I am seriously questioning the renewing of my monthly subscription. This is not good. Same here. What's the point of paying for a game you can't play.

Hi all ! I'm from France (So forgive my english please ;D) and it don't work for us here so it's not only an "american bug". Well I suppose they will give something when the game will be back (I hope so), and i notice that in godaddy, they mention that the domain is pending renewal or deletion so all we have to do is waiting

Domain renewal is only like $10 for a year. I wonder what would happen if someone bought the domain just for kicks, and now I'm kinda worried I might not be the first one to think about that >.>

How much is that name worth to yah? What? You can only afford $50 bucks? Come back later!" 3 months after no one would care to buy the name ... "K I'll sell it back to ya for $12" And thanks Tummie! But don't e-mail! Text them! Call them! Notice how the equivalent of this thread there is at 50 views and this one is at like 500. Tons of people are thinking you have transferred your money to a Bahamas account and are boarding a plane there!

Hello, Im from Argentina and I found this site, the closest to figure out what's happening, since the official forums does not shows, and CO Wiki or Cryptic page did not mention any word of this issue. It's odd. If I go to champions-online.com I get godaddy. If I go to forums.champions-online.com I get my ISP's default "this page does not exist" page. But if I go to www.champions-online.com I get the main site I attempted all of this, also I tried via steam and normal in other computer, I also launch the 'gameclient.exe' directly and the server is not responding at all. This is the situation here.

Just got to work, no clue what's up, but I'm sending out emails feverishly. Hopefully fixed soon. Hey TB! In this case, you're signature block is very apropo! BTW Do you have towel handy? I thought I heard a Vogon demolition fleet on it's way to your main office. At the places I worked, it was always the accounting department that had the username/password for all our domains. And they never go into the office until 10. True Story!

Mostly because I don't know too much about it, but are the website and launcher linked in some way? I read about the account systems maintenance last night, so I'm guessing it would somehow be linked to that.
Or Santa passed an executive order and wants people to actually spend time with their family for the holidays.
