the Silver Costume Contest Costume Contests are one of those things that really set games with amazing customization, like CO, appart from other games and their communities. They are also something that should not be hidden from our newest additions to the community. So to welcome the silver players I would like to host a series of contests tailored to them. How so? By making the Archetypes the contests' themes. The rules should be simple: the characters need to truly represent the given Archetype. Theme:Archetypes Categories for each Archetype in each contest will be:Because of Attendance we may be limited to one best per archetype Rewards:Each winner will recieve at least 50g though prizes may change upward. Location:City Hall in Millenium City. Sticking to the middle of any of the main streets leading north from Reneissance Centre will lead you there safely. Click thumbnail for map: Schedule:1st Contest: Friday 4th of February at 3PM Server Time, we will be kicking off with a bang: explosions of all sorts as the first two Archetypes will be: Soldier and Grimoir2nd Contest: Saturday 5th of February at 5pm Server Time, we'll face the elements with the next two Archetypes: Inferno and GlacierUPDATE!3rd and 4th contest combined into one big one: Saturday 12th of February at 5pm Server Time, we'll collect pointy bits and admire mind and matter: Blade, Marksman, Mind and BehemothFor more information, you can find me in the Contests and the Silvers channels, among others. Of course announcements will be made in Zone chats as we get close to the times of each event. Also: If you would like to help judge or have any other suggestions, please know that it would be extremly welcome

Can someone participate in the contest by making a new f2p account and get the reward to his real account.
I already bought the Variety Pack and therefore it's not a true silver account anymore, somehow.
I hope you catch my drift.

As long as your character is an Archetype, I do not care how much or how little money you have spend, if any at all. It is not something that I could check anyway. The idea is to have a contest with a theme that includes new people, not that excludes old people. I want everyone to have a fair chance, which would be less likely if I went with categories like "cute" or "humorous" or others in which there are some real heavy weights in the costume creating part of the community.

Most of my creations would come across as silly or punny, but I may toss a few at you just to keep things fun. I don't have a Soldier or Grim, but I have your hot 'n cold. See you in week two.

Server time is Pacific time, right? I think it is. You can simply hover over the clock under your minimap though and it will show you Server Time, Local Time and Map Time. Updated the original post with the final location: City Hall.

Oh, melkathi, I'm so sorry I missed your contest. I had a weekend of mishaps and completely forgot about your contests. Did you guys have fun? Are you going to put up the winner caps soon? Again, so sorry.

Very much enjoyed the Fire and Ice contest. Well, except for that dude across the way in the fire row who kept hitting on me the entire time. That was just creepy. Aside from that it was great lol.
I might show up to the next one as a spectator. I don't have any characters that fit those themes, but it's always cool to see all the costumes.
