{ steps onto soapbox } A-hem. T o whom it may concern: Thank You so much for creating this board and these forums. Whoever made it deserves a great big hug and a  (and if it is who I think it is a bit of Oomax might also be appropriate).  I had only just joined the CO forums and had barely begun to make chums with some warm, helpful and friendly Goldies when CO suddenly revoked my license to post to them, to ask questions, to get fellow players support and sympathy when needed, to offer my thanks and all of that good stuff that is necessary to keep a community alive and growing. I just don't think that the "CO Suits and Devs" understand the real need for Golds and Silvers to rub up against one another in the way folks do in RL.  Well, I've said what I wanted to say, now I'll just shut up and let some other people talk and offer their thank yous if they want to. Warmest Regards, Zed { steps down from soapbox } |

Glad to have you. The biggest key to these forums succeeding is actually making people aware they exist. It would be nice if the Devs could direct fee players here, but until then we will have to rely on word of mouth and gold players directing people here on the official forums. See you in game!

I just used the only game e-mail I had handy - Rhyatt - who helped me out and even sent me a Friend Referral code through the CO e-mail on 01-10-11. He's sent a post to the forum for me thanking everyone who posted to my "How often does your PC die while soloing?" thread. I was having a really bad day when I created that thread, but both noobs an vets were a HUGE help. It's proof that us Silvers need all of the help (and love) we can get. We are a needy bunch after all.  And I see that GammaBreaker found that post too and replied so the link is out there. Let's hope it gets spread about the board quickly. In the mean time, we can fend for ourselves. The new Freequel is new to everyone, so we could share the tricky or easy to miss bits as needed (minus spoilers of course). |

We'll have to look into making some sort of announcement thread on the official forum about this forum and then grab Stormshade or Tiyshen or someone to look into stickying it and putting it in the Links section of the main page. Might be better someone else did that though. Not sure the GMs like me  |

Throwing my little "thank you" into the discussion; it boggles my mind that Cryptic doesn't want Silver players to post on the official forums. What other "free" to play game does that? It rubs me the wrong way. Silver players might end up spending quite a bit of cash, given the right approach. I spent tons in DDO and LotRO.
But this isn't a rant thread! So, again, thank you for taking the time to set up a forum for us. It's nice to have a voice, even if it's a voice ignored by the developers. There are clearly some great community members involved already, and it's appreciated. I would probably not even be playing as Silver right now if it weren't for the helpful and polite people.

Hello everyone. Just heard about champions going free. I already pay for two other MMOs and and to give up something and champions was it. Now that it is free, i can come back. I played beta and the actual game for a little while. I've heard that a lot has changed since i left.
With that being said. I hope to see you all in game. I will have to check(still downloading the game) to see if my toons are still there. If so, i'll throw out the names for anyone to friend with. None of my friends still play the game and have moved on to other games.
