I can disagree bout the stats.Without Con u will majorly sux in pvp for pve in other matter its awesome dmg but u wil always think bout going in large masses and u get knocked u may die.So better go Con/End on 27lvl u will have like 4,1k hp than 2,7k and u wont sux so much in pvp as well bilieve me

Pyre has an advantage that causes it to knockback all nearby enemies. This lets you buy some breathing room. Also, you get Conflagration automatically, which has more range, can disable travel powers, and can also track targets for you. Its kind of silly to have multiple maintains, and Conflagration's shape means enemies swarming you die even if behind you.

Small request: can you re-format the OP to show everything by level? Other guides are like that, and its really nice.

Posting this in Level-based format:
POWERS/ADVANTAGES
Level 1: Throw Fire Level 1: Fire Strike (R2) Level 6: Teleport Level 6: Fireball (Unstable Accelerant) Level 8: Fiery Form (R2, R3) Level 11: Pyre (R2, Backdraft) Level 14: Fire Shield (R2, R3) Level 17: Conflagration (R2, Burning Rain) Level 22: Thermal Reverberation Level 27: Immolation (R2, R3) Level 32: Heat Wave (R2, Engulfing Flames) Level 35: (any 2nd travel power) Level 40: Flashfire (R2, Sweltering Heat)
p.s. this seems 3 Advantage points short (i.e. leaves you with 3 points to spend).

It doesn't need to be "fixed" Ashen doesn't like to strap people down into one build, therefore he just stated what he thought was essential and most important, leaving the rest for personal preference. That is much like what I do, since I tend to leave 2-3 advantage points if someone want to rank up their Travel Powers or something of that sort.

The other thing I like about pyro is that it doesn't require a target. One of the most annoying things is VIPER mobs that throw smoke grenades which takes away your ability to target them. When affected by this, you can't use fireball or conflag, and they stand right in front of you kicking, punching, and slashing you. Also, as far as travel powers go, i went with teleport as it is easier to get away if you get into a bind. However, I like flight too because I like the ability to hover in the air and get a bird's eye view the the enemy layout.

Flight can also be very effective in PvP, specifically cage/arena matches. If you float right above your target, they will have great difficulty targeting you, thus increasing your survivability.

The only thing to be careful of with Flight in PvP is that a dedicated PvP build will generally have a travel power removal option. Losing your flight while too far in the air can lead to some nasty fall damage.
-That said, youd be surprised how often people do fail to look up.
I do tend to leave a few advantage points unspent when making build suggestions. THis leaves room for others to tweak things to their taste.
My favorite TP is Acrobatics. This really is a fun factor thing not a matter of efficiency. Ultimately Teleport is probably the most potent TP for its instant escape function. Swinging is great for the Flippin advantage if you are playing an AT with Lightning Reflexes, Way of the Warrior, or Quarry.
But back to acrobatics. Its versatility advantage is sufficient to offset the combat speed reduction and so its a great PvP option.
Ultimately though, its hard to argue with flight for an Inferno. Its thematic, perfect for the genre, and great in PvE.

Hey guys, I was looking into the Inferno section in CO-Wiki, and I saw this: "You can also absorb energy from fire around you, so you become most powerful when you set things on fire."
What do they mean by that In-Game? Like when you walk into a fire it gives you energy or something like that?

Like when you walk into a fire it gives you energy or something like that? i think they're talking about thermal reverberation, whereby when you set things on fire around you, you gain energy.

My friend was *ahem* lazy to register to this forum since he only wanted to ask one question. But anyway, posting on his behalf, here it is:
He complained that he rarely used pyre after getting conflagration R2 + burning rain advantage. So what's the point of adding pyre R2? (He hasn't added R2 pyre yet, he survived throughout with pyre R1 + backdraft)
