I had originally built a Phoenix themed Fire build ( very unoriginal to say the least .. and that bothered me. ) So I trashed him and thought about a good themed fire idea that could do everything I wanted and still "work" in the thematic sense. As has been stated by the luminaries around here, when you build to a theme it's going to be a tad weaker due to concessions usually. However, I think I have pretty much nailed this one (for me at any rate) and look forward to the concept.
There is a very limited use ability in this build that will, I'm certain, draw an outcry, but it works for the theme. It's also gonna be funny to see if it works like I plan. More incentive to follow through with the build.
This is a Shamanic themed build.

Fire has been talked about add infinum add naseum so I wont rehash what most everyone knows, or can find out quite simply for a few minutes searching on the forums. What I will do is give the why for the thematic ideas.
March of the Dead: Thematically this works on a couple levels. One is the idea that the spirits will lend a hand to Ancestral Fire in the interests of the greater good for their people. Mechanically it works because they do decent damage while they are out and scale off of PRE. Finally they work in the "Oh no you didn't!" gaff below.
Rebirth: So, here it is. The very limited use ability with the "gaff". You can self rez to full health, 3 of your spiritual buddies pop up to help lay the smack down. Add in the other 3 from March of the Dead and the shadows on top of that, it gets pretty busy pretty fast. When they are all out, you can dig a hole and wait a bit allowing Regen and the Shadows healing to tide you over in relative safety or bring the heat if you are so inclined.
Summon Shadows: This fits thematically and serves as a nice augmentation to Regen, since a nice 20% of the damage they deal goes directly to your health.
