So, after finding I can't even introduce myself on the CO official forums without paying, I became perplexed as to how to introduce myself proper to the gaming community.
As such, I came here.
I've been a gamer for about 24 years, and CO is the first (graphical) MMO I've really tried playing. I've been playing for a few days now. It's great that it's free, and though I could afford a subscription, I prefer to just buy the content I want than get locked into monthly payments.
In any case, if you ever wish to talk to me in-game, I go by a few different characters. My most active is Hurtman, with a couple I'm testing the powers on including Rogue 7 and Mr. Eggbert. Under any of them, the same notes apply. I'm willing to RP, but I'm rusty at it, and my internet connection is crappy, so I may suddenly go offline. That's what I get for using internet provided by my local laundry mat.

In any case, if you ever wish to talk to me in-game, I go by a few different characters. Actually, all that's need is your global name. For instance mine is speedknob. A character would be Arrow Smith@speedknob, but if you /tell speedknob you'd still get me even if I was on one of my other 40ish characters . . . And - welcome aboard! |

Ah, my global name is the same as here (I believe), which is HippyKippy. Though for some odd reason, it shows up as either that or as HippyKppy when in CO, which is why I felt the need to add-in my various character names.
These warnings of the basement intrigue me. If it's anything like my basement, infested with hippies and screaming toilets as it is, I must investigate further.
