Greetings and a quick question

Greetings everyone.

Im a new player. I have been playing for three days and I really like what I'm seeing.

I wanted to mention, this community seems very helpful and I think thats a great change from another game I was playing till recently. Congrats to everyone on the helpful approach.

I do have a question though. Forgive my lack of knowledge if it's an easy one.

I have gotten a few rewards/drops that could affect certain abilities according to the text. The text says affected item or skill : none.

How do I apply said items?
Should I only apply an item if it is for the same damage I'm using?
(Ex - if I get a + fire damage item, should I not use it if I'm anything other than the inferno archtype?)

Welcome aboard!

You should equip the Power Replacers you mentioned - when you have equipped them you can see which powers of yours will be affected by the mentioned effect. If it still says none, you can throw it in the bin or sell it.

The flavor text usually hints or tells what type of powers it affects as well, listing such as melee or single blade, prior to equipping in case you don't want to bind everything.

If it doesn't, then yeah, you probably need to equip it... OR!
