Hi guys, just updating you guys who may not be playing regularly. Vehicles got a massive update:
1. Vehicles can now be upgrades to Mark 2 and Mark 3 with a kit from the Zen Store
2. The old crafting/questionite building is now a Vehicle store with mechanics to upgrade
3. The Vehicle weapons have been changed, a lot were nerfed, some may have been enhanced
4. Vehicles now have 2 speeds: travel and combat.

I'll just start with my personal observations, on my Vehicles and their weapons so far. Subject to change:
Gravity Pulse - they don't flash insanely any more. They have a 1 sec cooldown and a softer animation
Railgun - reduced to 100 feet. You can't simply outrange Cosmics with it anymore, but still useful
Incendiary Rounds - reduced to 100 feet, no taunt effect now, hits 5 targets. Still useful
Plasma Beam - abused recently in the Rampages, I noticed it uses up a lot more energy now
Desert Fox - its travel speed seems much faster now, that was a pleasant surprise
55C Akemi (i.e. da Choppah) - I know it has a slower combat speed, but it's not noticeable

My overall impression for now - some things were nerfed, but not so bad that I had to change my tactics dramatically. It's just to a point where I can't face-roll or write a macro to auto-farm Mega-Ds anymore; I can still farm them, but I might actually have to look at the screen now. And it's not so bad that I feel the need to buy those new Zen store upgrade kits; my Vehicles are still fine as they are.
I know Xstorm has been looking at this in-depth, he'll have more insight, the above's just my own impressions so far.

1. New guns: Plasma 3, AA missle 3, Medic 3. INSANE strong. You -definitely- want all three of these, along with pulser 2 on your 'main' ride. 2. Slowdown: This is not something that's really so bad, except when you're wanting to quickly pulse a group of mobs, then rush over to the next one. I find this unbearable, I've gotten around this by having three rides slotted. When I get done with a group, I change rides to get back to speed, rush over to the next group, waste them; switch rides again, and repeat. 3. Gun nerfs: Railgun has become essentially useless when you compare it's charge time, vs the fact that you're gonna have to be in range to fire it. The only way you're going to be able to reliably fire it, is to have someone else make sure you don't get aggro, and knocked out've range. I haven't used it since the update. Incen rds are pretty awful now too when trying to use them for crowd control. They just don't wipe out the groups quickly enough for me. I've replaced it with singularity bomb on most of mine. It's completely unviable on tanks. It costs -way- too much energy now. Pulser dmg went down by about 50%, it's best to squeeze, build drive to 3 stacks, release, and repeat. While popping micro muni 2 in the process. Those that loved to tap it for quick group rushes/farming, are going to -hate- this adjustment. I expect the prices on pulser 2s to fall to ~500g or so. Pulser 1s have already fallen to ~200g. 4. Mk 2 rides: I did some pretty serious testing with this, before I upgraded all of mine from 1 to 2. The 2s are -vastly- superior to the 1s. It may appear like a small adjustment on the stats. But, in reality; the difference is vastly significant. My hawk 1 was hardly able to tank mega ds at all while I plasma'd them down. But the broadhead(auto mk 2). I could tank them no problem. Up to 4 at once with just medic 3 to keep me alive. 5. Exocets seem to be incredibly squishy now. This was the nail in the coffin for this ride for me. I've made arrangements to sell it to my friend when she has enough Z to get me the kit to unbind it. The noise + the squish + the slowdown = This thing is just annoying to me. 6. Not -quite- enough slots. It's impossible now to get one ride that will do everything. You just don't have enough gun slots to get max crowd control, and the optimal high hp target setups. 7. Mk 2 Smilodon: This thing is an absolute -beast- I could tank 8 mega Ds at once, and they simply could not kill me. I set it up with micro 2, and flame thrower to hold aggro, this taunt is similar to the old incen rd. Will try it out on the harbinger when LI rotates back in. I had to put some r7 ammo mods on it though. The tank base ammo is horrible. 8. Mod adjustments: They changed some of them, %bonus ammo was adjusted to a flat rate. This was a pretty heavy nerf on any mod below r7. You -really- need r9s to get the best out of this, and that's going to cost you about 10000G for a pair. They did fix the equilibrium on it though, so it's quite useful at least with r7s+. 6s give +10 ammo, 7s give +30 ammo, and 9s give +45. Hull scanner: Armor pen fixed finally. Again, r9s SHINE here(Vixy, have fun with your 10kg r9s). Biosteel's ammo stacking bug was fixed as well.
I had a pretty difficult time finding people willing to sell kits. I've still got a few rides that I'm going to sell super cheap, all you have to do is supply the kit for me to unbind them, and 500g.
I already sold off my raptor, and tsunami.
Looking to unload a wild eagle, ridgeback, flintfire, and stealth jet.
PS. The skyfox coming out will have micro 2, and pulser 2 on it; and is the BADDEST ass looking thing yet. I've already got one reserved.
Also, MK 2 jets are incredibly nice, even they can tank mega ds.

So I take it my Widow that took us 3 days to trick out is pretty much weaksauce now?
Also, how much are these upgrade kits?

700z. I've finished updating all of mine to r2. Just waiting for the skyfox to come out before I load everything out.
And no, widow II is just as bad ass as the broadhead.

After upgrading my Hawkwing to MK2, decided to test it in some open missions and the result was impressive. MegaD can not kill me, the open missions of Lemuria were ridiculous easy (Ship of Fouls and one with the sharks). Bludhound on Preternatural Potpourri cant hurt me at all, my regeneration was higher than his damage. This all with rank 6 mods, Grav Pulse R1 and Full Battery Barrage R1... cant even imagine with better mods and really good weapons. I suspect vehicles are not affected by diminish return like heroes, what make them a lot more powerfull and tough. I feel I can solo any lair in game right now if allowed to do. But not everything is positive, the speed boost is busted! The speed does not change at all! The new "combat speed" simply prevents any movement in combat! (why not extend for all ranged power in game?). The "Top Gun" felling does not exist anymore, although it occurred only in Lemurian Invasion btw
