they really need 2 add a way to earn points in game. if u really think about it some Silver players don't have a way of paying for the points or have them make point card which would work. post ur ideas here.

This has been brought up too many times and each time it gets met with various reasons why it won't happen. Cryptic went F2P because they knew it would work.
They're not going to make their C-Store currency available to be earned in-game because they know that if they make it too easy to obtain then they're screwing themselves over. Why sub to get what you want when you can stay silver and farm for everything? Those with subscriptions will stop subbing and Cryptic can kiss any real form of steady income from Champions Online goodbye and they're right back where they were prior to going F2P.
If they make it too difficult to earn in-game or make the payout insignificant then they run the risk of angering the players that wanted it which will turn into a tsunami of negative publicity.
The major issue is there's no middle ground. The players and Cryptic won't be able to agree on what would be a suitable amount that could be earned in-game that wouldn't invalidate the entire reason to get a subscription.

Here's food for thought. If a way to earn Atari Tokens in-game ever gets put in then making it available to Gold members will lose Cryptic/Atari money in the long haul. Gold members, whether monthly or LTS, get 400 tokens per month on top of everything else they get. It's $6.25 USD to purchase 500 tokens so Gold members that sub monthly are essentially only paying ~$9.99 a month when you think about it. On that same note, LTSers eventually get their investment given back to them and then essentially get paid to play. So if the company doesn't want to lose money they'd flag Gold accounts so that they wouldn't be able to earn more tokens on top of what they're already being given. Is that fair? I'm gonna say it's not. Gold members not getting access to everything is counter-intuitive and a bad business decision. There's a reason Silver membership leaves you wanting more.
