Hey guys! ;D I've been thinking about writing a novel about my characters. I've been doing some persona development and am looking for some advice. Basically I found a website that had 100 questions (I added one so 101) regarding history and personal ideals. I'd like to share that with you...see what kind of suggestions y'all have. More than likely this'll be a free novel or it could be purchasable through amazon. Haven't worked out the details yet and honestly won't need to for a few years. That said I'll first start off with a brief history of the Extant Force. This can be found on my website, though I've modified it slightly here. Please understand that this is a VERY brief history that was written several years ago. It is not how I intend the flow of the novel to read. If you want an idea for that look to Purple Psychic's answers. He will be the narrator of the book. Anyway. Enjoy! Comments HIGHLY welcomed. EDIT: So I just recounted...there's actually 132 questions. That website lied to me. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Marcus Lin has always been a sort of genius since his childhood days. After graduating with his first bachlor's degree in Mathematics before he could even drive, he decided to pursue his knowledge further. He soon graduated with a Master's in Electrical Engineering and Physics. By the age of 32 he had achieved a PhD in Chemistry, Electrical & Mechanical Engineering, Mathematics, and Physics. Almost immediately after he finished college (June of 1992) he started working for the government. They were very generous in his pay as he was one of the top minds in the world. He worked on various classified contracts for the government, many of which were even kept secret from the president himself. During his time there he met several superheroes and became fascinated with the idea of it all. At the age of 41 (May of 2000) he took his intrest further by gathering up his earnings and starting a program called Hurried Evolution of Regular Organisms (H.E.R.O.). His first experiment was on a penguin which the scientists there named Waddles. He was able to give this animal human-like characteristics. One of which included communication with the human race. Later Dr. Lin developed a serum that gave Waddles abilities beyond that of any normal human. They discovered that he was able to manipulate water and ice, which in turn gave him the name Ice Penguin. In 2002, Dr. Lin met Jacquin Pierce at a martial arts competition. Seeing her exceptional skill he invited her to join the H.E.R.O. program. She agreed and he invented a forumla called Adrenaline which increased her speed and reflexes like nothing ever seen before. Soon after she became known as Rush!, the fastest woman alive. Months later, while trying to improve on the formula, Lin had a terrible accident. There was a massive explosion in his lab disintegrating the majority of his body. He was immediately put in ICU and, with the use of his own technology, was able to be kept alive. Meanwhile, during his absence in the hospital, H.E.R.O. started losing funds. There hadn't been a successful breakthrough since Ice Penguin's mutation and so the board of trustees decided that they were going to sell the company. Once released from hospice care, Lin began working on a body suit for himself with the company's remaining assets. Five years later, during the summer of 2007 while she was cleaning up some street gangs, Rush! ran into a hero named Roxstar. She was in awe of his presence during battle. During that time Roxstar was fighting alongside some of his friends. His own team, Paragon Stone, had recently broken up. Unfortunately his old crew couldn't keep up with the mighty Roxstar. They soon became weary and several evently killed off in battle. Those who survived hung up their uniforms, officially ending the reign of Paragon Stone. Roxstar and Rush! quickly teamed up and with the help of Ice Penguin formed their own small group. Roxstar's leadership qualities once again took charge of the new team. Because of this, Rush! went to talk to Dr. Lin about Roxstar. Miss Pierce introduced them and Dr. Lin very much liked the attitude Rox had towards fighting crime. The doctor then began to explain to them about his plans to save his company. He told Rox about the previous H.E.R.O. program and its shortcomings. Dr. Lin then proceeded to tell them about how he was planning to turn H.E.R.O. into an underground heroic team but that the company would become a basic civilian industry, engineering computer neo-technology. With the profits from his refurbished company he would finance the secret group himself. Dr. Lin then layed out some blueprints for a completely new bionic suit that he was designing and then another to a secret base. During their first run as a team they came across an evil villain named, Blood Scorpius. His robotic scorpions were terroizing cities across America and after being broadcast on the news our four heroes felt it was time to take their newly founded team out for their first mission. They suited up and headed out to take down the evil alien Scorpius. Needless to say they had trouble. With such little experience together as a team they quickly fell apart and the outcome did not look optimistic. However, during this battle another rather famous duo showed up. The Purple Psychic and Arella 'the Blue Tempest,' who had much more experience teaming together, began putting the hurt on Scorpius. Roxstar, Rush!, Ice Penguin, and Dr. Bionic followed the duo's example and worked together. Despite the combined efforts of our six heroes, Blood Scorpius retreated. Even though they failed to defeat him, they considered this a win. After fight alongside Purple Psychic and Arella fight, Dr. Bionic seized an opportunity to strengthen his team so he extended an offer for the two to join. They accepted and the six of them became known as the Extant Force. Cleaning up the streets and locking away criminals. Extant Force was soon muttered among villains in fear. Members: Rox Stone = Roxstar (Earth)Dr. Marcus Lin = Dr. Bionic (Technology)Jacquin Pierce = Rush! (Speed)Waddles = Ice Penguin (Ice)Micah Levy = The Purple Psychic (Mental)Arella = Blue Tempest (Weather)

Next up is Psi. This will be the narrator of the novel. Mainly because I'm already comfortable with writting from his perspective but also because it only makes sense for the person trained in the mental arts to think a lot. The way he talks will be the general flow of the book. There will always be some editing which could change the way I see him now but this is a good starter. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Micah LevyTelepathy, Psionic & Telekinetic Blasts, Levitation, Healing, Mind Control Mandatory Questions 1. What about you is heroic? I can empathise with other people, literally feeling their pain. To me having to feel that over and over again is heroic. 2. What about you is social? What do you like about people? Well, since I can't see peoples' true emotions through body language, which they say makes up at least half of a person's communication attitude, I have to pay extra attention to the words they say as well as their tone to make up for that. In that sense I have to be much more social in order to gauge my surroundings. I can't just sit back and observe. 3. Of what benefit could you be to the current group? Obviously, there's my psychic and healing abilities but I also think that with my age comes wisdom as well. 4. Why would you choose to join the current group? A very diverse group. Has a strong leader, good financial backing, and a sense of comradery that I haven't felt in a long time. Each member has a unique ability that comes together well as a whole; each plays off the strengths and weaknesses of the other. 5. Invent an adventure/plot that your character would actively undertake (as opposed to just tagging along)? Hmm. I think other than taking down the typical villain I would probably have a bias towards any mission having to do with Nazis. Personal Questions 1. What is your real, birth name? What name do you use? Micah Levy. When not in costume everyone just calls me Micah. 2. Do you have a nickname? What is it, and where did you get it? There's been a few people who have called me Mike. I don't encourage it though. Those that I work with in the hero world call me Psi. 3. What do you look like? (Include height, weight, hair, eyes, skin, apparent age, and distinguishing features) Not entirely sure actually, considering it's been quite a while since I could look in the mirror. I do remember having red hair and light skin when I was a child. 4. How do you dress most of the time? Comfortably. Typically I'll wear a windsuit of some kind. 5. How do you "dress up?" I've been known to wear a suit on occasion. 6. How do you "dress down?" I guess I'm almost always dressed down really. I'm not much for appearance. 7. What do you wear when you go to sleep? I'm a bit old school. I still wear button up pajamas to bed. 8. Do you wear any jewelry? Not really. I'm always afraid I'll lose it. 9. In your opinion, what is your best feature? Physically I'm not sure. I've been told that I have a nice chest. 10. What's your real birth date? January 23, 1939 11. Where were you born? Hannover, Germany 12. Where do you live? Describe it: Is it messy, neat, avant-garde, sparse, etc.? I live in a downtown appartment. With my innability to drive I have to be near the action of the city. My apparentment is fairly neat, it has to be or else I'd trip over everything. It's very open with few furnishings. I share my appartment with my dog, Amadeus. He's my guide dog. Well, kind of. He's mostly for show so that my blindness is more believable to those who don't know my secret. Other than that my appartment is rather lonely. I don't have a television for obvious reason, however, I've planted music playing devices all over. 13. Do you own a car? Describe it. Nope. I can't drive a car. That would be bad for everyone involved. 14. What is your most prized mundane possession? Why do you value it so much? My purple suit. It's the last thing Stranger gave to me before he died. 15. What one word best describes you? Patient. Familial Questions 1. What was your family like? This is going to be a hard one. I don't remember my family all that well. They were killed when I was just a boy. Stranger was always the father in my eyes. He raised me, protected me, prayed with me, and loved me. Stranger was a good man. Not to say my real father wasn't but I never got the chance to know him like I did with Stranger. 2. Who was your father, and what was he like? I don't know. Stranger was my father for all intents and purposes. 3. Who was your mother, and what was she like? I vaguely recall my mother. She had caring eyes, hair short and wavy, and she always wore a dress. That's about all I can remember. 4. What was your parents marriage like? Were they married? Did they remain married? My parents were married. We had a big family and as far as I know they worked hard to provide for us. I have memories of us all gathered around a large, wooden table eating dinner. 5. What were your siblings names? What were they like? No idea. I'm not even sure they're still alive. We were all seperated when we were taken to the concentration camps. 6. What's the worst thing one of your siblings ever did to you? What's the worst thing you've done to one of your siblings? I would say abandoning me, though I know it's not their fault. The Nazis did that to us, not my siblings. 7. When's the last time you saw any member of your family? Where are they now? That doleful day back in 1944 when we were all stolen from each other, thrown in camps, and left for dead. I have no idea where they are now, if they're even alive. 8. Did you ever meet any other family members? Who were they? What did you think of them? No. Childhood Questions 1. What is your first memory? Probably sitting around the table eating with the family. No matter how bad our circumstances were I don't recall my family ever forgetting to thank the Lord for our food. 2. What was your favorite toy? Times were much too serious for toys. I doubt my parents could even afford one. Even after we survived the camps, Stranger and I lived on very little. 3. What was your favorite game? During Passover Stranger would always make me find the Afikomen. Traditionally this game is played with many children so that whoever found the Afikomen would win a prize. We didn't have the money, or any other children for that matter, so Stranger always hid it really hard. The Afikomen is really just some matzo bread wrapped in a cloth. Nothing special really, but it was still fun all the same. 4. Any non-family member adults stick out in your mind? Who were they, and how did you know them? Why do they stick out? Stranger, as mentioned before. 5. Who was your best friend when you were growing up? I didn't have other friends my age, only Stranger. 6. What is your fondest, childhood memory? When Stranger first protected me in the camps. I was able to seek refuge with him in such a morbid place. 7. What is your worst childhood memory? The Holocaust. Pure and simple. I'm not really sure that needs elaborating on. Adolescent Questions 1. How old were you when you went on your first date? Oh man! Haven't been on many of those. I guess the first date I would've been on was in my early teens. Stranger teased me for days about a girl who kept staring at me while we trained in the park. She had been oblivious to me but once he mentioned it I couldn't stop thinking about her. What did she look like? Was she staring because I was blind, or was it because of how unkempt I looked? I became so distracted that Stranger made me take her to dinner. Mostly the date was just awkward. There, of course, were a lot of questions about my sight, how I lost it, and how I managed to survive in such a lively city. I couldn't tell her the truth but I managed some lie I'm sure. I hate lying to people about it but there are things about my heroic side I just can't share with others. Norms, as we call them in our world. She shyly giggled for the rest of the night. It was quite a relief of my nerves once it was all over. That didn't stop Stranger from ridiculing me for months after the fact. 2. It is common for one's view of authority to develop in their adolescent years. What is your view of authority, and what event most affected it? I believe there is a point that someone can attain too much authority. This stems from my experiences with the Nazis, however, probably very biased. Regardless, I firmly consider power to be one of the greatest evils of mankind. 3. What were you like in high school? What "clique" did you best fit in with? Stranger and I lived on the streets. I was home schooled in that sense. 4. What were your high school goals? Though I didn't attend school, we had high goals. I trained constantly with Stranger. He wanted me to grow up with morals and a good teaching of our history. 5. Who was your idol when you were growing up? Who did you first fantasize about in your life? God says make no idols before Him but if I were to pick one it'd be Stranger. He was more concerned with others' needs rather than his own desires. 6. What is your favorite memory from adolescence? When I was fifteen when Stranger first taught me to see with my mind. I know it's not real sight but being able to regain any amount of sight was very exciting to me. 7. What is your worst memory from adolescence? The day Stranger died was harder than when my parents were stolen from me, I think. Having to go through that again was excruciating. When he died I shut down, completely void to the world. I quit my training and began looking for regular work. It has taken many years for my grief to be lifted from me. I can only give credit to God for that. Occupational Questions 1. Do you have a job? What is it? Do you like it? If no job, where does your money come from? Yes, I work for a telemarketing company. 2. What is your boss or employer like? (Or publisher, or agent, or whatever.) It's nice. I've never actually met my boss but that's not a bad thing. It's easy to get lost in the hundreds of people that work there. Which is a relief because it'll allow me to stay there longer. You tend to jump around with jobs when you don't age much. Don't want anyone to pick up on what I can do. 3. What are your co-workers like? Do you get along with them? Any in particular? Which ones don't you get along with? I don't know my co-workers. I try to stay unnoticed. 4. What is something you had to learn that you hated? Getting into the workfield required that I learn braille. I had procrastinated it during my training with Stranger and to learn it at the age of eighteen was challenging. 5. Do you tend to save or spend your money? Why? I probably save more than I spend. After living a life of poverty I've grown accustomed to having very little. Likes & Dislikes Questions 1. What hobbies do you have? I really enjoy playing the piano. I remember listening to them outside the pub as a child. Once I had enough money I bought a piano and learned how to play it by ear. Speaking of music I like to listen to the radio as well, music and talk shows alike. I also like to read and write. I keep journals of all my adventures and life in general. Lastly, I workout daily so that I can remain in shape. Don't want to get fat in my line of work. Well, my secret line of work. 2. Who is your closest mundane friend? Describe them and how you relate to them. I don't keep people close, not since Stranger died anyway. That's a personal flaw of mine. I'm always worried that they'll discover my secret. It's just easier to be alone. 3. Who is your worst mundane enemy? Describe them and why you don't get along. There is a man who calls himself the Nuclear Nihilist, a man left over from the world war. He is a ruthless man who's sole purpose is to continue the efforts of the Nazis. Such men need to be destroyed, removed from this earth. I feel like it is my duty to do so. 4. What bands do you like? Do you even pay attention? I typically listen to the classics: Mozart, Bach, Beethoven, but every now and then I'll listen to The Beatles, Jonny Lang, or ZZ Top. I really can't stand any of that rap nonsense. 5. What tape or CD hasn't left your player since your purchased it? Why? The last CD I purchased was Gustav Holst - The Planets, Op. 32. 6. What song is "your song?" Why? Johann Sebastian Bach - Cello suite No.1 Prelude in G Major 7. What's been your favorite movie of all time? Mr. Holland's Opus 8. Read any good books? What were they? Yes, I tend to read philosophy, religious, or books about music. The last book I read was "Seeing through the Sound of Music" by Alfred Lewis. 9. What do you watch on the Television? I don't own a television. 10. When it comes to mundane politics, do you care? If so, which way do you tend to vote? If not, why don't you care? Yes. After what happened to me as a child in Germany I have become very involved in American polotics. I vote for whatever party gives the most liberty to the people. I've seen what uncontrollable power can do to a country. I don't want that to ever happen again. 11. What type of places do you hang out in with your mundane friends? I like to go to the pub and listening to the local bands. 12. What type of places do you hang out in with your normal friends? Other than my solitude or my time at the pub, I tend to hang out at the team's secret mansion. 13. What annoys you more than anything else? People obsessed with power. Those who are never wrong. 14. What would be the perfect gift for you? Concert tickets to a philharmonic. 15. What's the most beautiful thing you've ever seen? It was so long ago that I lost my sight that I honestly don't remember what most things look like in color. The last thing I remember is the cramped room they kept us in at the camps. The most beautiful, though? Umm, probably a sunrise or sunset. I can still see all the vibrant colors of one of those. 16. What time of day is your favorite? I'm definitely a morning person. 17. What kind of weather is your favorite? Springtime has always been a favorite of mine. The warm air and light showers is really soothing. 18. What is your favorite food? What is your least favorite food? I grew up on Matzah Balls, it is certainly a favorite. Least favorite would be sushi. 19. What is your favorite drink? (Coffee, Coke, Juice, Beer, Wine, etc.) After a long day, nothing is finer than a glass of red wine while I listen to some classical music. 20. What's your favorite animal? Why? Don't really know if I have a favorite but I do admire the bat. Being blind brings new perspective to their abilities. 21. Do you have any pets? Do you want any pets? What kind? Yes I own a guide dog for the blind. 22. What do you find most relaxing? (Not as in stress relief, but as something that actually calms you down.) Listening to music. 23. What habit that others have annoys you most? Someone who makes frequent sounds really irritates me. For example, someone who is biting their fingernails, or someone who smacks when they eat. 24. What kind of things embarrass you? Why? When a person decides that it's their duty to help out the blind guy. I know they mean well but it bothers me when I am completely capable. 25. What don't you like about yourself? I am far too critical of other people. 26. How would you like to look? I try to keep up my appearance but I know it doesn't look the way I see it in my mind. I guess that's an upside to being blind. I don't necessarily have a standard I have to live up to. Sex & Intimacy Questions 1. Would you consider yourself straight, gay, bi, or something else? Why? Straight. 2. Who was the first person you had sex with? When did it happen? What was it like? How well did it go? It was with a jewish girl named Raanana. It happened in my early rebellion phase. I was angry at God for letting Stranger die, for letting my family die back in Germany. Shortly after I was alone I met Raanana. She was a sweet girl, very different from me. Raanana came from a wealthy family. Her family was different than anything I'd ever witnessed before. Honestly, I don't think I was the only one rebelling in that relationship. Looking back I'm certain that she used me to punish her parents. Regardless it was an interesting experience. One that I'm not sure if I'd do again or not. The intimacy we shared was incredible. I might've had a slight advantage on her because I could read her mind but I doubt she would've complained had she known, I was able to please her precisely the way she wanted. 3. Have you ever had a same-sex experience? Who with, what was it like, and how did it go? Never, and I don't intend to. 4. What is your deepest, most well-hidden sexual fantasy? Would you ever try it? To make love to Arella, a winged goddess, while she flew through the air. I doubt it would ever happen. I'm not even sure it's physically possible. 5. What was the wildest thing you've ever done, sexually? Who was it with and when did it happen? The wildest and probably worst thing I've ever done was mind control someone into wanting me. I still feel bad about that. I don't remember the girl. It was in a random bar a long time ago. I wasn't the person I am now. 6. Is there any sexual activity that you enjoy and/or practice regularly that can be considered non-standard? (Bondage, Fantasy Play, etc.) Why do you like it? No. 7. Is there any sexual activity that you will not, under any circumstances, do? There's a lot of things that I won't do, and haven't done. Right now I'm waiting, focusing on God, and trying hard to be celibate until marriage. 8. Do you currently have a lover? What is their name, and what is your relationship like? What are they like? Why are you attracted to them? No, I do not. 9. What is the perfect romantic date? Call me old fashioned but I like taking my date out to dinner, handing her fresh cut flowers, and then ending the evening outside a café listening to some live jazz. 10. Describe the perfect romantic partner for you. Someone mysterious. I want someone who is far from average, which is probably why I'm attracted to Arella. 11. Do you ever want to get married and have children? When do you see this happening? Of course! I currently have no timeline for this though. 12. What is more important - sex or intimacy? Why? Intimacy. You can't have meaningful sex without intimacy. 13. What was your most recent relationship like? Who was it with? (Does not need to be sexual, merely romantic.) My relationship with Arella is, well, different. We're not actually dating but it seems as if we are. We know we are pulled towards one another but neither of us will admit it and are too afraid to act on it. 14. What's the worst thing you've done to someone you loved? I'd say that my past has left me incapable of loving someone. Which, in and of itself, is probably the worst thing I've done to someone who probably loved me. Drug & Alcohol Questions 1. How old were you when you first got drunk? What was the experience like? When Stranger died I fell into a deep depression. I lived in a state of almost pure inebriation. I'm surprised I even made it through those years of my life. Did anything good come out of it? Did anything bad come out of it? The only good I can deduce from that experience was that I got it out of my system. We all rebel at some point. I'm glad I did it early and came to the realization that was not the way to live my life. 2. Do you drink on any kind of regular basis? I have a glass of wine almost every night. 3. What kind of alcohol do you prefer? Red wine. 4. Have you ever tried any other kind of "mood altering" substance? Which one(s)? What did you think of each? No, that was a line I never crossed. I was too afraid that drugs would affect my mind permanently and since I rely on it for the things that I can do I didn't want to jeopardize that. 5. What do you think of drugs and alcohol? Are there any people should not do? Why or why not? I believe that either of these can be dangerous to our health and our bodies, drugs in particular. With alcohol, though, moderation is the best solution. Morality Questions 1. What one act in your past are you most ashamed of? What one act in your past are you most proud of? I most regret arguing with Stranger the day that he died. He was only trying to teach me yet I was being a stubborn teenager. The day I decided to start standing up against criminals is the day I'm most proud of, or rather the day I feel that Stranger would be most proud of me. Since then I have put everything I have to making use of all the teachings of my mentor. 2. Have you ever been in an argument before? Over what, with who, and who won? Who hasn't been in an argument? If you're looking for a particularly bad one I'd say the fight that caused my vision loss would be the worst. I'm sure you are well informed of the conditions we had to live in when we were taken to the concentration camp? Well, food was scarce and for a young child it was even harder to find enough to eat. During one of the times we were given food a Nazi soldier took my bread. I hadn't eaten for days and had to scavenge for that one piece of bread. Unknowingly I argued with the soldier. In return he gouged out my eyes. I should've died that day but Stranger took care of me. I hate that it took such an intense situation for me to be introduced to the greatest man I've ever known. 3. Have you ever been in a physical fight before? Over what, with who, and who won? Several actually. When fighting crime you often have no choice but to be confrontational. 4. What do you feel most strongly about? The Guardian Movement has made a huge impact throughout the world. It's great to see people ascending to positions of responsibility for others' poor choices and lack of responsibility. However, even more than that I would say that I feel most strongly about my faith. God is number in my life. I try my best to live by His laws. He's the reason I have started my career in heroism. 5. What do you pretend to feel strongly about, just to impress people? I try really hard to be interested in people's materialistic pursuits but honestly I could care less what the newest electronic device is. I grew up with nothing. Learning humility was necessity. Plus I'm unable to use most of it. 6. What trait do you find most admirable, and how often do you find it? Honesty is a rare thing indeed. So many get by with their lies and manipulations but I know they lie. I can hear their heart beat faster, the tone of their voice change, and if that's not enough I can hear the truth in their minds. Needless to say, when I find someone who is truthful I admire them above the others. 7. Is there anything you think should not be incorporated into the media or art (sex, violence, greed, etc.,)? If so, what and why, and if not, why not? Having lived through the progression of today's society I would have to say that the minds of men are already corrupt. We were born sinners. It's not really what is in the media only that it is easier to access evil things in our modern world. So no. I would say one's freedom of speech and expression should not be limited. 8. Do you have any feelings in general that you are disturbed by? What are they? Why do they disturb you? The direction of our society is disheartening. It seems as though too many have lost sight of God and have been currupted by demons. I will continue to fight the good fight to save these people from themselves. 9. What is your religious view of things? What religion, if any, do you call your own? I'm Jewish. I put my faith in the original creator, the one true God. 10. Do you think the future is hopeful? Why? There is always hope. Hope is simply faith in the future tense. My faith in the Lord gives me hope. 11. Is an ounce of prevention really worth a pound of cure? Which is more valuable? Why do you feel this way? That's a difficult topic. On the one hand, preparation will generally make a task easier. On the other, having a solution to the problem would make it easier for everyone else. I guess it really depends on the situation. For example, you could spend hundreds of dollars taking Vitamin C everyday to prevent a cold, but it won't necessarily stop the cold. You could also wait until you get a cold and get medication for it that may cost you a fraction of the price. Monitarily the cure is more valuable. However, the chances of getting sick are a lot lower if you are taking Vitamin C and therefore you may not ever have to go to the doctor at all. In that instance becoming sick less often would prove more valuable. It's all relative. 12. What's the worst thing that can be done to another person? Why? The worst thing you could ever do to someone else is take their hope away. I truly believe the reason we have so many drug addicts, alcoholics, and theives is because someone has taken their hope away. Once all hope is gone they latch on to things that give them immediate pleasure. For some it's detachment from the world but for others it's exhibiting dangerous behavior, subsequently following into the criminal lifestyle. 13. What's the worst thing you could actually do to someone you hated? Torture them, take their will to live away. 14. Are you a better leader or follower? Why do you think that? If you think the whole leader-follower archetype is silly, say so, and explain why? I'm more of an advisor type than a leader. I do believe that there needs to be a leader but it needs to be someone who can handle the power without letting it overtake him. There are times where a quick decision needs to be made and a team needs someone for that responsibility to fall on. Otherwise the team would be quarreling the entire time. 15. What is your responsibility to the world, if any? Why do you think that? I was blessed to have learned such an amazing gift. Despite my disability God gave me the ability to do much more than see again. I feel that I have a great responsibility to use my talents to help mankind. 16. Do you think redemption is possible? If so, can anyone be redeemed, or are there only certain circumstances that can be? If not, why do you think nothing can redeem itself? One can always be redeemed from their sins, yes. The laws of Moses give detailed instructions of how to cleanse one's sins. 17. Is it okay for you to cry? When was the last time you cried? It is only human to cry. I would be worried if someone refused to cry. To me that person would be without compassion. The innability to love would be much more bothersome to me than crying. 18. What do you think is wrong with MOST people, overall? I believe that we were all born as sinners and that following God's laws is not an easy task to do. By nature humans would rather do what is easiest which would be giving into Satan's temptations. Post-Supernatural Awareness Questions 1. When did you go through whatever made you supernatural? What was it like (in your opinion)? I had to learn my abilities over time. It took a lot of hard concentration and training to develop the amount of control I have over my brain. We all can do it but few try. 2. What do you think now of being supernatural? Is it cool, or have you been screwed? I feel as if God has granted me some of His power. I am thankful that I can achieve the things I can. 3. Do you have a mentor? Who are they? How did you become their student? Stranger was my mentor. He took the role of my father when mine had been taken from me. Stranger began teaching me after the war. 4. Do you have any magical items? Where did you get them? No. 5. What do you think of the other denizens of the World of Darkness? Why for each? (If you haven't met something, do you think it exists, and if it does, is that bad or good?) I believe that Satan has been at the heels of all of us since the fall of man. He is there tempting us to turn away from God every day. 6. Think of a major event that happened during your training/initiation. What was it? I remember the first time Stranger taught me how to see again, so to speak. We had been training for years on how to use my mind and my senses more attentively. I was being stubborn though. He wanted to show me how read others' minds. How to read their thoughts in such a way that I could make an internal map of my current vicinity. I felt bad for being so rude to him. How arrogant of me to think I knew it all. Stranger had been doing this for decades, I was still an amateur compared to him. He was a patient man and eventually showed me how to do something I had never presumed possible. 7. What is something you had to learn during your training that you hated? Why did you hate it? I tired of the monotony of my training. Practicing the same techniques again and again was wearisome. There were many times I wanted to simply concede to my boredom. Miscellaneous Questions 1. What is the thing that has frightened you most? Do you think there is anything out there that's scarier than that? What do you think that would be? I doubt that there is anything that could be worse than living through the Holocaust. Honestly, that's probably why I can do the things I do now, why I can go against these criminals. I know deep down that there is nothing they can do to me that I haven't already suffered through. 2. Has anyone or anything you've ever cared about died? How did you feel about it? What happened? It seems as though everyone I get close to dies. Ignoring the fact that I can extend my life, everyone I have loved has been killed in some fashion by somebody's hands. My parents killed by Nazis. Stranger killed by a drunk driver. It's better that I just stay hidden from the public, to be alone is safer for them. 3. What was the worst injury you've ever received? How did it happen? Getting my eyes ripped out would top the list. Yep. Most definitely. 4. How ticklish are you? Where are you ticklish? Not very much at all, actually. 5. What is your current long term goal? To bring justice to the world. 6. What is your current short term goal? Taking care of the criminals here in the city. 7. Do you have any bad habits? If so, what are they, and do you plan to get rid of them? I'm highly intrusive. I blame it on the fact that I use people's thoughts to visualize the world but I generally continue to listen in on their thoughts. Call it paranoia from my time in the camps, call it a sly sense of curiousity, call it whatever you want I know it's not right and I refrain from doing so as much as I can make myself. 8. If you were a mundane person, what would you do with your life? What occupation would you want, and how would you spend all your time? If I were mundane I'd be retired and patiently waiting for my time to pass here on earth so that I can go meet my Lord. 9. What time period do you wish you had lived in? Why? (Looking at this as an attempt to change history doesn't count.) What appeals to you about this era? There are times when I wish I had been born just a decade later. Then I could still be with my family. 10. How private of a person are you? Why? Because of my ability to abate my aging, I generally don't socialize. I don't find any comfort in watching more loved ones die while I continue to endure. 11. If you were to gain an obscenely large sum of money (via an inhertiance, a lawsuit, a lottery, or anything else) what would you do with it? I would probably donate it to an orphanage. I already have enough money. 12. What would you wish for if you found a genie? At first I thought I might ask for my family, or Stranger, but the consequences of such a resurrection could cause a multitude of problems. Hence, I'd probably wish for my eyes to see again. 13. What do you do when you are bored? Read or listen to music. Possibly both. 14. What is the most frightening potential handicap or disfigurement you can conceive of? What makes it so frightening? Being a vegetable. I couldn't imagine being restricted to a bed, completely aware of my surroundings, but unable to do anything about it.

What about you is social? What do you like about people? Doc says I'm way too flirtatious. I disagree, I'm only reacting to the studs that all think I'm hot. I really like cute guys but hate it when they stare. 3. Of what benefit could you be to the current group? No one can match my speed. Plus I'm the best fighter of the group! 4. Why would you choose to join the current group? Doc has always been there for me. I think his ideas may a bit far stretched but I'll stick with him until the end. Not to mention, without the Doc where else would I get my speed juice from? I need him. 5. Invent an adventure/plot that your character would actively undertake (as opposed to just tagging along)? I always like fighting the meatheads. Although they're criminals they tend to be easy on the eyes. Personal Questions 1. What is your real, birth name? What name do you use? Jacquin Pierce 2. I spent most of my time in the gym, sparing with my buddies. 2. Who was your father, and what was he like? Dad was always way too serious. There was never time for fun and games around him. Work, work, work! So boring. He'd rather sit in an office all day than to go the zoo with his family. I believe he loves my family even though he rarely verbalizes it. All the same it's easier to ignore him and not worry about it. 3. Who was your mother, and what was she like? My mother was really big into the women's activist movement. I think that's what originally started my martial arts training. I don't think she meant for me to be as good at it as I am. I'm pretty sure all she wanted was for me to be able to defend myself against the 'unruly bad men waiting around the corner to rape me.' That's what she always said anyway. I don't really follow her line of thinking, though. If women were supposed to be as strong as men wouldn't we be built like they are? I'd rather not have to think about women looking like men. Let's enjoy the fact that we are different and that men look the way they do. 4. What was your parents marriage like? Were they married? Did they remain married? They were rarely together and when they were they fought. I'm convinced they actually took pleasure in being apart from each other. Strangely enough, they've never divorced. 5. What's the worst thing you've done to one of your siblings? N/A 7. When's the last time you saw any member of your family? Where are they now? I go back to Texas every Christmas to see my parents. It's the only time of the year we were ever together. Although even that lasts only for a few hours before dad gets a business call and mom has to rush off to one her lavish parties. 8. Did you ever meet any other family members? Who were they? What did you think of them? Of course I did. I have three uncles, two aunts, and ten cousins. My only living grandparent is on my dad's side. It's so rare that we meet, I'm not even sure if I can remember any of their names. Childhood Questions 1. What is your first memory? The earliest thing I can remember is going to the ballpark with my family. I think it has stuck with me because it's the last thing I can really remember ever doing as a family, save for Christmas. 2. What was your favorite toy? I had so many toys, my father's way of trying to buy my love. The one thing I really enjoyed were my roller blades. Ha! I guess I liked speed even back then. 3. What was your favorite game? I loved, loved, loved Street Fighter on the original NES console. So much awesomeness! 4. Any non-family member adults stick out in your mind? Who were they, and how did you know them? Why do they stick out? Probably my martial arts instructors. We were never close but I spent the majority of my childhood training with them. They shaped who I am today. 5. Who was your best friend when you were growing up? Mai Chang was another student at the martial arts facility I went to a lot. We spent a lot of time together doing little girl things. She hasn't talked to me much since I beat her in the World Martial Arts Championship (WMAC) six years ago. 6. What is your fondest, childhood memory? The first time I won a martial arts competition. My dad being there made me feel like he was proud of me for the first time. 7. What is your worst childhood memory? My martial arts competitions became such a regular thing that I almost expected my dad to show up to them all. That was, after all, the only thing he ever showed intrest in that I was involved in. Problem was when he didn't show up I was heartbroken. I would actually throw matches if I was too distraught over him not being there. I hated him for it. Adolescent Questions 1. How old were you when you went on your first date? Mom wouldn't let me date until I was in high school. That didn't stop me though. The first time I snuck out was in seventh grade so that I could be with this cute boy on the basketball team. 2. It is common for one's view of authority to develop in their adolescent years. What is your view of authority, and what event most affected it? When learning from my instructors I was taught to respect my elders. I'm not sure I ever grasped the concept. It was hard to respect my parents, however, I was never rude to them directly. I guess if I learned anything it was to be induglent to authority. 3. What were you like in high school? What "clique" did you best fit in with? I was the rebellious skater girl. I would skip class on occasion to secretly train or skate with my friends. Even though I hung out with the punks, I was still rather popular amoung the athletic crowd. I think it was because they knew about my martial arts background. The only thing I liked about that crowd was that the boys were cuter. 4. What were your high school goals? My single most important goal in high school was to train as hard as I could so that once I turned eighteen I could enter the WMAC. I wanted to be as prepared to win as I could be. 5. Who was your idol when you were growing up? Who did you first fantasize about in your life? Michelle Yeoh was my hero. I grew up watching her movies. She motivated me to become a better fighter. 6. What is your favorite memory from adolescence? Finally gettting to compete in the WMAC. I had trained my whole life for that moment and once I eventually got to compete I mopped the floor with the other competitors. I claimed my title and made sure the whole world knew that an eighteen year girl won for the first time in the history of the competition. 7. What is your worst memory from adolescence? My favorite memory is also my worst. Even though I won the title I was not allowed to compete against the men. I was told that it wasn't fair for opposite sexes to compete. My mom went berserk on the officiating crew. She couldn't stand not to take a stand for her feminist movement ideals. Honestly, she just made it worse. It took me years to undo the mess she made. I was determined to compete against the best though and sadly, the men's category contain the majority of them. Don't get me wrong, I understand where my mom was coming from but despite a few really good fighters, the women's category lacked the enthusiam of the men's. Occupational Questions 1. Do you have a job? What is it? Do you like it? If no job, where does your money come from? I don't have a regular full time job. Not like everyone else. I make my living competiting in tournaments around the world. Training is my full time job. The tournament is just the paycheck. 2. What is your boss or employer like? (Or publisher, or agent, or whatever.) That's the best thing. I get to be my own boss. 3. What are your co-workers like? Do you get along with them? Any in particular? Which ones don't you get along with? Asside from the Doc and his team, I work solo. I like the Doc though. He's cool. 4. What is something you had to learn that you hated? How to stop without any harm to my body when using Adrenaline. 5. Do you tend to save or spend your money? Why? Why keep money when you can spend it!? I'd rather have an overflowing closet than an overflowing bank account. Likes & Dislikes Questions 1. What hobbies do you have? Generally I'm in the gym training. I also like to run. When I have time I like to go out dancing and not just club dancing, I like the formal stuff. You know, like the foxtrot, rumba, and waltz type dances. I don't know why I like those. 2. Who is your closest mundane friend? Describe them and how you relate to them. Since Mai Chang won't talk to me anymore I tend to be a loner. That said, there is this cute penguin in the H.E.R.O. program that I get along with really well. Doc mutated him into this humanoid penguin. It's pretty cool actually. 3. Who is your worst mundane enemy? Describe them and why you don't get along. Yukio Tanaka. He' s had it out for me ever since I changed the rules to the WMAC allowing women and men to compete together. He doesn't think we're worthy. Last time I saw him I was on the floor of the ring while he was being declared champion. Yukio hasn't entered the competition since, which is a shame because what's the point of me winning if it's not against the best. 4. What bands do you like? Do you even pay attention? I like alternative rock, pop, and punk. Techno is really great for my workouts. 5. What tape or CD hasn't left your player since your purchased it? Why? The latest Avril Lavigne album. I love that girl! 6. What song is "your song?" Why? Avril Lavigne's Keep Holding On. I play that song over and over again when I'm feeling down. It picks me up and helps me look to the future. 7. What's been your favorite movie of all time? Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon because my girl, Michelle Yeoh, kicked some serious butt in it! 8. Read any good books? What were they? Does Vogue count? Seriously, I don't have time for books 9. What do you watch on the Television? I don't usually have a lot of time to watch t.v. but when I do I typically watch action shows. Mostly the detective types like Bones or CSI. 10. When it comes to mundane politics, do you care? If so, which way do you tend to vote? If not, why don't you care? For the most part, I don't vote. Most politicians are currupt and I don't feel like there's anything I can do to change that. I feel that the country is going to hell regardless of who is in office. 11. What type of places do you hang out in with your mundane friends? Nothing too special really. We might go out to a movie or like chat at a bar. Depends on who I'm with. 12. What type of places do you hang out in with your normal friends? Me and my girlfriends like to go the club on the weekends. What better way to get my dance on with some cute guy. 13. What annoys you more than anything else? It seriously bothers me when someone ignores me. I want to be the center of attention. 14. What would be the perfect gift for you? I always love a good massage. It's even better when the one conducting the massage was the same guy who gifted it to me. 15. What's the most beautiful thing you've ever seen? There's this picture of when my mom was a teenager. She had won the crown for a beauty contest. She was astonishingly beautiful! I have aimed for that type of perfection ever since. 16. What time of day is your favorite? I enjoy the night life, however, the best time to train is in the morning. 17. What kind of weather is your favorite? There's nothing like running in the fresh mountain air. Especially when you've been contained to the flat lands of Texas the majority of your life. 18. What is your favorite food? What is your least favorite food? I regularly crave a good hamburger because I know it's bad for me. My training calls for a very strict diet. I draw the line at squash though; can't stand the stuff. 19. What is your favorite drink? (Coffee, Coke, Juice, Beer, Wine, etc.) Whenever I go out I must have a Margarita. It's just not the same without one. Otherwise I like a good coke. 20. What's your favorite animal? Why? Hmm. The flamingo because it's pink! 21. Do you have any pets? Do you want any pets? What kind? Nah! Pets cost money and require lots of cleaning after. I'd rather not have to deal with it. 22. What do you find most relaxing? (Not as in stress relief, but as something that actually calms you down.) I suppose practicing with my staff in my studio. Once you get into the rhythm the whole world just disappears. It's like, when I'm done, there's this tranquil feeling I get. It's so much better than getting drunk. 23. What habit that others have annoys you most? I can't stand someone who has to make plans for everything. It's so annoying, when you want to do something they have to pull out their calendar to seem as if they're the most important person in the world, as if. 24. What kind of things embarrass you? Why? I get embarrassed when I get caught talking to myself or when I'm day dreaming about some glorious battle between me and another martial arts master. 25. What don't you like about yourself? I don't like how I tend to lead men on. I know I'm flirtatious but my problem is I don't know when to stop. It gets really creepy sometimes, though, when they start stalking me. It happens more than you'd think. I figure I should've learned by now. 26. How would you like to look? Are you kidding me? I'm hot! I wouldn't change a thing. Sex & Intimacy Questions 1. Would you consider yourself straight, gay, bi, or something else? Why? Straight. Nothing cuter than a brawny man in a tight shirt! 2. Who was the first person you had sex with? When did it happen? What was it like? How well did it go? Actually—I've never slept with anyone before. I understand that's kind of hard to conceive but I want to save myself for the right person. That doesn't stop me from flirting with handsome men, though. 3. Have you ever had a same-sex experience? Who with, what was it like, and how did it go? I'm not going to lie, I've thought about it but that's not something I would ever act on. Come to think of it, the only time I've ever had those thoughts were when I was under the influence of alcohol. Maybe I should cut back if it's going to affect my judgment that drastically. 4. What is your deepest, most well-hidden sexual fantasy? Would you ever try it? There are times when I'm flirting with a criminal that I get a little too emotionally into it and start thinking about details between me and him. I would never be that carnal, though. 5. What was the wildest thing you've ever done, sexually? Who was it with and when did it happen? Short of some lengthy makeout sessions and a few trips to second base, I don't have a wild side. It's all an act, but don't tell anyone. I have a reputation to uphold. 6. Is there any sexual activity that you enjoy and/or practice regularly that can be considered non-standard? (Bondage, Fantasy Play, etc.) Why do you like it? Not really. Unless dating several men at once is considered non-standard. 7. Is there any sexual activity that you will not, under any circumstances, do? I'm willing to try anything once. Honestly, I'm fairly ignorant of what all is out there and if I'd even like it or not. 8. Do you currently have a lover? What is their name, and what is your relationship like? What are they like? Why are you attracted to them? I have a lot of boyfriends, however, I wouldn't call my feelings for any of them love. 9. What is the perfect romantic date? Something out of the norm. Most guys I date are boring and way too cliché when it comes to dating. 10. Describe the perfect romantic partner for you. Someone who is willing to be there for you. Someone who cares more about you than their work. I'd like a guy who would be willing to do whatever I want because he simply wants to be with me. 11. Do you ever want to get married and have children? When do you see this happening? That's the last thing on my mind. Though I'm sure I'll get married someday, right now my main focus is my training. 12. What is more important - sex or intimacy? Why? Intimacy for sure. 13. What was your most recent relationship like? Who was it with? (Does not need to be sexual, merely romantic.) Which one? HA! I assume you mean one that was meaningful. I haven't had a whole lot of those recently. I guess that's my problem, I can't seem to stop playing games long enough to have a decent relationship. Take, for instance, the guy I saw last night–dumb as a rock. I'm not entirely sure he knows how to hold a meaningful conversation. He was sure good looking, though. 14. What's the worst thing you've done to someone you loved? I would say the problem with this question is that I've never truly loved anyone. Drug & Alcohol Questions 1. How old were you when you first got drunk? What was the experience like? Alcohol was not hard to come by when I was growing up. You know, I'm pretty sure my mom was the one who first got me drunk. She held this huge elaborate party for all the kids at my school–she always had to be the center of attention. I doubt her intention was to get a house full of teenagers drunk, I assumed she just wanted me to be the popular girl in school. However, once she had downed a few martinis she started making several of us drinks. It didn't turn out well. Did anything good come out of it? Did anything bad come out of it? I can't think of a single aspect of that night that had a good outcome. The parents of those kids excommunicated my family from all neighborhood and school affairs. Sadly, my mom's plan had worked too. All my peers wanted to be my friend because I had the cool mom. Honestly, I hated the attention. 2. Do you drink on any kind of regular basis? I go out with friends on the weekends. Maybe two or three times a month. 3. What kind of alcohol do you prefer? Margarita. 4. Have you ever tried any other kind of "mood altering" substance? Which one(s)? What did you think of each? Who hasn't? I never did hang out with the right crowds as a kid and as a result I was subject to several different drugs. Now I get my fix from the Adrenaline that the Doc makes me. Running at supersonic speeds gives me a way better high than any mood altering drugs. 5. What do you think of drugs and alcohol? Are there any people should not do? Why or why not? I stayed away from the dangerous drugs. I do think that those should be destroyed completely. At the same time though, getting caught up in the the druggy lifestyle–even with less dangerous drugs–can be devastating to someone's quality of life. You can obsess over the next fix very easily and ignore your responsibilities. Morality Questions 1. What one act in your past are you most ashamed of? What one act in your past are you most proud of? I'm most ashamed of how early I started drinking. I'm most proud of my martial arts training and how well I have perfected all the techniques. 2. Have you ever been in an argument before? Over what, with who, and who won? Me and my parents argued almost daily when I was in school. The topic of conversation was across the board. There was never a real winner to those, though. Dad would dissapear in the middle to work, mom typically had been drinking already and would go off on some yelling rant, and I would find a reason to get away from the chaos. 3. Have you ever been in a physical fight before? Over what, with who, and who won? My interests essentially keep me in a fight. I'm either in a tournament or kicking some bad dude's butt on the street. 4. What do you feel most strongly about? Advancing my knowledge and skillset of martial arts. I'm always looking for the next best way to challenge myself. 5. What do you pretend to feel strongly about, just to impress people? I amplify my sexuality so that others will think I'm more beautiful. 6. What trait do you find most admirable, and how often do you find it? Leadership. I think an honest person that is willing to selflessly lead is a quality many people lack. 7. Is there anything you think should not be incorporated into the media or art (sex, violence, greed, etc.,)? If so, what and why, and if not, why not? If anything maybe the media should be portayed more accurately. Violence, real violence, is not as flashy as movies make it out to be. I love participating in my tournaments because they're fun but once you've experienced real violence you'll notice the differences real quick. 8. Do you have any feelings in general that you are disturbed by? What are they? Why do they disturb you? The first time I used Adrenaline in a fight I didn't comprehend the amount of force a simple punch could have at that speed. I'll never forget the first time I downed the Doc's concoction and ran full speed toward my opponent. The sound of his ribs cracking was terribly unsettling. I remember being worried whether or not I killed the man. I could never figure out why at that moment I felt so much compassion for a criminal but it's something I've had to deal with every time I use Adrenaline in a fight. 9. What is your religious view of things? What religion, if any, do you call your own? I'm not really sure to tell you the truth. Religion was not something we had in my home growing up. I'm not entirely against the idea of a supreme being but I have a hard time believing he or she would allow the horrible things I see on a day to day basis. Why were my parents so horrible? 10. Do you think the future is hopeful? Why? I sincerely believe that anyone can change their future if only they would first change themselves. We all have the ability to be good people if we just quit giving in to our evil desires. 11. Is an ounce of prevention really worth a pound of cure? Which is more valuable? Why do you feel this way? I have no idea. I think either could work. 12. What's the worst thing that can be done to another person? Why? Abandonment. People need emotional support. 13. What's the worst thing you could actually do to someone you hated? Take their will to live away. 14. Are you a better leader or follower? Why do you think that? If you think the whole leader-follower archetype is silly, say so, and explain why? A leader is important if one wants to succeed. I'm not much of a leader but I'll only follow a good one. 15. What is your responsibility to the world, if any? Why do you think that? I think I can be a role model to girls out there that have been told women can't be as good in martial arts. I hope that my dedication to the art will be seen by those who need hope. 16. Do you think redemption is possible? If so, can anyone be redeemed, or are there only certain circumstances that can be? If not, why do you think nothing can redeem itself? A person can change for the better, however, it's hard to trust that someone's past won't affect future judgment. 17. Is it okay for you to cry? When was the last time you cried? I don't see what's wrong with it. I cried when broke my leg about a year ago but probably more because it was going impede my training for the next tournament than because it hurt. 18. What do you think is wrong with MOST people, overall? I think people in general are selfish. Post-Supernatural Awareness Questions 1. When did you go through whatever made you supernatural? What was it like (in your opinion)? I'm not supernatural just really skilled. I guess you could call the speed I obtain from the Doc's checmical drink he makes me is somewhat supernatural. 2. What do you think now of being supernatural? Is it cool, or have you been screwed? Running as fast as I can is undoubtedly frightening. Making sure I can stop or turn without killing myself is always in the back of my mind. 3. Do you have a mentor? Who are they? How did you become their student? I rotate teachers every like year or so. I would rather get advice from varrying opinions than to have a one-sided viewpoint. 4. Do you have any magical items? Where did you get them? Adrenaline is magical to me but I know it's simply science. 5. What do you think of the other denizens of the World of Darkness? Why for each? (If you haven't met something, do you think it exists, and if it does, is that bad or good?) In my opinion people are just bad. There's no evil demon trying to tempt you into doing something wrong. People are simply making exuses when they look to blame it on some demon. 6. Think of a major event that happened during your training/initiation. What was it? When I first began to use Adrenaline it was incredibly challenging. The speed that it gave me was extremely hard to control. It took me several years before I was able to incorperate it into an attack routine. If I lose my focus I'll overshoot my target every time. 7. What is something you had to learn during your training that you hated? Why did you hate it? The one thing that broke me was having to learn that–with all my training, all my trophies, and all the various forms of martial arts I mastered–they were almost worthless in a real fight. The problem with training and tournaments is that even though you have to make quick decisions it's still in a controlled environment. The real world is brutal and unforgiving. Real fights don't need elaborate forms for every situation. When your heart is pounding and real fear sets in you can't rely on mere muscle memory for that many techniques. I hated learning that I wasn't the best at what I did, that all my training was wasted. However, things changed once I met the Doc. The speed he has given me allows me time to think and be flashy. I dread the day I don't have my Adrenaline during a fight. Miscellaneous Questions 1. What is the thing that has frightened you most? Do you think there is anything out there that's scarier than that? What do you think that would be? I fear being beaten in a fight. I fear dying actually. I feel like my time hear on earth isn't done. I don't want to die early. 2. Has anyone or anything you've ever cared about died? How did you feel about it? What happened? Luckily, I haven't had to experience death of a close family member or friend. 3. What was the worst injury you've ever received? How did it happen? Broken bones are the worst I've ever had to go through. After as many fights as I've been in it was bound to happen someday. 4. How ticklish are you? Where are you ticklish? Can we skip to the next question, please? No really, no one needs to know my weakness. 5. What is your current long term goal? To, like, become the best martial artist in the world. 6. What is your current short term goal? To practice more on the streets and refine my skills in situations of real violence. 7. Do you have any bad habits? If so, what are they, and do you plan to get rid of them? I play with my hair when I get nervous. It's like such an unconscious thing I don't know if I'll ever get rid of it. 8. If you were a mundane person, what would you do with your life? What occupation would you want, and how would you spend all your time? I've never imagined a life outside of what I have. I don't think I could. 9. What time period do you wish you had lived in? Why? (Looking at this as an attempt to change history doesn't count.) What appeals to you about this era? I would've liked to live in the first millennia when Shaolin Kung Fu first began. To, like, actually learn from the original masters would be awesome! 10. How private of a person are you? Why? For me, everything's on the table. 11. If you were to gain an obscenely large sum of money (via an inhertiance, a lawsuit, a lottery, or anything else) what would you do with it? I'd buy a ton of fashion wear and hunt down the rarest of ancient weaponry. I'd have the biggest closet and artifact weapons museum in the world. 12. What would you wish for if you found a genie? For the ability to have super speed without the use of Doc's chemical compound. 13. What do you do when you are bored? Sleep. 14. What is the most frightening potential handicap or disfigurement you can conceive of? What makes it so frightening? I'd be upset if anything were to happen to my face. Beauty is such a powerful advantage over people and I would hate to lose that.

Dr. Bionic has innate superhuman intelligence. His intellect is both a blessing and a curse. He often times analyzes his situations beyond their intention and can tend to talk over people with his exuberant word choices. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Dr. Marcus LinSuperhuman Intelligence, Gravity Manipulation, Teleportation, Energy Projection, Night & Heat Vision Mandatory Questions 1. What about you is heroic? Before the laboratory casualty my intelligence had always been my forte, however, currently I'd say that my previously decrepit body has surpassed my intellect through the additions of the pioneered technology of my armament. 2. What about you is social? What do you like about people? To construct the blueprint of society one must first ascertain that which molds said society. The foundational components of each member, contain within them the solution to the quandary of their community. This, of course, conveys the very nature of the person such that one can conclude how to interact with him. 3. Of what benefit could you be to the current group? I provide the fiscal reinforcement as well as the domicile with which our assemblage convenes. 4. Why would you choose to join the current group? While presiding over the Hurried Evolution of Regular Organisms, or H.E.R.O., my research was at the forefront of mutation sciences. My extensive knowledge of the micro and macro evolutionary development in our spieces is most appropriate considering the very structure of our uniquely endowed group. 5. Invent an adventure/plot that your character would actively undertake (as opposed to just tagging along)? Scientific anomalies intrigue me. Any occurance demonstrating said anomaly heeds my immediate diligence to identify the origin of the anomaly and decipher the secrets contained within. Personal Questions 1. What is your real, birth name? What name do you use? The name bestowed upon me at birth was Marcus Albert Lin. 2. Do you have a nickname? What is it, and where did you get it? My confidants prefer to call me Doc. 3. What do you look like? (Include height, weight, hair, eyes, skin, apparent age, and distinguishing features) Incurably, only twenty percent of my biological tissue was sustainable after the explosion. Presently I require a colaboration of bionic appendages to enhance my incapable torso. My apricot skin has been stretched to obscure the wiring that supersedes my viens, attached to the malleable but impervious alloy which has since replaced my limbs. My preserved cerebrum is contained within a thermally insulated, laminate polycarbonate which emulates my formerly obliterated cranium. My oculus dexter has been refined with the most advanced ophthalmic technology. Inverted robotic legs aggregate my height to approximately seven feet one inch. 4. How do you dress most of the time? Cognizant circumstances inhibit me from dressing myself in the majority of mainstream apparel. Generally, I clothe myself with a metallurgic accoutrement protecting my cicuitry and remaining organs from being ravaged. 5. How do you "dress up?" Dressing up for me is less about pomp and more about circuimstance. I have engineered a multitude of bionic apparatuses to be employed during precisely determined situations. 6. How do you "dress down?" I have in my possession a few–more austere–units that I utilize in the laboratory. These operate similarly to a natural human body in both appearance and function. 7. What do you wear when you go to sleep? It is necessary that I be connected to equipment designed to recharge the electrical components of the resemblances of my former appendages while my biological remnants lie dormant. 8. Do you wear any jewelry? My predicament doesn't allow for me to adorn precious metals and stones. 9. In your opinion, what is your best feature? The most prominent aspect of my being is my mind. For it is my intellectuality that has accentuated my very existence. 10. What's your real birth date? I exited my mother's womb at exactly 9:34 ante meridian on March 3, 1959. 11. Where were you born? My procreators were established in Salem, Oregon when I entered this world. 12. Where do you live? Describe it: Is it messy, neat, avant-garde, sparse, etc.? I reside in an exorbitant condominium within the inner city. One's primary observation upon entering my abode is usually accompanied by a sense of anxiety. My companions have confessed that my living quarters, while abounded with exotic furnishings, appear to have been abandoned. By contrast, however, my laboratory is in complete disarray. Research papers, notes, and foresaken experiments lay strewn about. 13. Do you own a car? Describe it. My particular condition makes it problematic to drive. Regardless, I've had a chauffeur for over a decade who takes care of all necessary transportation. Currently he is operating a silver Maybach Landaulet. I ascertain that is one of the most aesthetically pleasing, yet practical, vehicles I have ever owned. 14. What is your most prized mundane possession? Why do you value it so much? It seems trifling but I'm encouraged when I behold a simple award for the achievements of H.E.R.O. I become proud of my accomplishments , the subdued challenges, and the veneration displayed by the very presentation it. The clear acrylic reads, "For the accomplisments and advancment in mutation sciences, this award is presented to Dr. Marcus Lin." 15. What one word best describes you? To summarize my whole being into a single word is not a facile endeavor. One must first examine my life as a whole. Where did my inspiration come from? What people did I adopt as paragons during my youth? What were my goals? There are so many variables to consider when determining the solitary word to describe oneself; so much pressure for such a brief description of my entire character. If I had to pick one word, a unique term, I would deduce that abstract is in compliance. Familial Questions 1. What was your family like? My begetters were modest people notwithstanding traditional stereotypes of those with large sums of monitary value. My siblings and I were learned through homeschooling and the church. We were instructed on how to endeavor, inspire, and sacrifice. It was also a fundamental belief of my parents to give generously to those less fortunate than ourselves. 2. Who was your father, and what was he like? Geoffrey Oswin Lin was a respectable business man and even though he labored he made sure to spend a significant quantity of his existance with family. 3. Who was your mother, and what was she like? Flora Maegan Lin was a compassionate , God-fearing woman. She nurtured my siblings and me throughout our juvenescence; discipling and mentoring us so that we would become honorable men and women. 4. What was your parents marriage like? Were they married? Did they remain married? I remember several occasions growing up when my parents explained the roles in their marriage. They taught us the importance of finding a spouse that would promulgate those equivalent principles. Principles decreed by God. 5. What were your siblings names? What were they like? I have two sisters, Sadie Ava Lin and Hasel Willow Lin, and three brothers, Jace Parker Lin, Gavin Chase Lin, and Joshua Evan Lin. We were all brought up to behave in the same manner. Usually we were to be in our quarters studying while mother took care of the household responsibilities. However, when not absorbing knowledge from our text books we did enjoy the sporadic exterior sport of Fútbol. It was quite invigorating. 6. What's the worst thing one of your siblings ever did to you? What's the worst thing you've done to one of your siblings? My siblings and I were in a perpetual contention concerning our edification of learnedness. Contriving against me, my brother, Gavin Chase, veritably forged and submitted my institution applications which disrupted the admission process into my preferred universities. My mother was enraged. I eventually enrolled despite his prank, though it was subsequently a semester later. 7. When's the last time you saw any member of your family? Where are they now? Within the last fortnight I've conversed with three of my kindred. They are dispersed among the northernest states of America. 8. Did you ever meet any other family members? Who were they? What did you think of them? I can not discern the significance of this question. If I have not been informed about a member of our family how would I differentiate those I observe wandering about our city from those who could potentially be ancestrally related to myself? The tree of my descendants is of common knowledge to my family. There is no need to be aware of personal introductions in excess of this. Childhood Questions 1. What is your first memory? Because of my unique condition, I am capable of accessing repressed memories within my cerebral cortex. Coincidentally, I can recall the total accumulation of memories I've ever experienced, including the day I was born. 2. What was your favorite toy? My procreators insisted that if my siblings and I wanted toys that we were to use the C3 approach: contrive, create, and construct. A personal favorite of mine was an android I assembled when I was five that cleansed my personal living space such that I didn't have to. 3. What was your favorite game? I've always been partial to Backgammon and its simplicity but I most enjoy a Chinese board game called Go. What I love about Go is that while the rules are simple, the tactical strategy is exponentially complex. The most intriguing aspect of the game is that mathematical estimates of possible games transcends the number of atoms in the observable universe. Simply fascinating! 4. Any non-family member adults stick out in your mind? Who were they, and how did you know them? Why do they stick out? Mother kept us rather isolated as children. I cannot deliberate anyone of consequence that garners attention. 5. Who was your best friend when you were growing up? My work was my only friend. In a lot of instances my creations literally formed a relational bond with me. 6. What is your fondest, childhood memory? Though it may be atypical, an instance that captivated me as a child was the epiphany that the area of a circle's derivative is its circumference. That was the pivotal moment in my understanding and resolve to persevere in calculus. 7. What is your worst childhood memory? Many people would not credit an intelligent person with a creative–or even artistic–mind, and that was true for the most part, but there was one recurring instance where such a characteristic embodied me. As a child, I would devise any excuse possible to prevent mother from removing me from my developmental solitude. Prosaic adolescents had a difficult time empathizing with the aptitude of my family. As a direct result of their misunderstanding they exploited intimidation as a coping mechanism; quite often in the form of physical convergence. I was pensive for lying to my mother just to avoid fleeting confrontation. Adolescent Questions 1. How old were you when you went on your first date? Dating…my predicamental status of adolescent attending a prominent university made consorting difficult, if not impossible. On several occassions I was arranged to adjoin with the younger sister of one of my classmates. Logically it made sense, however, that didn't make it any less abashing. The initial occurance happening when I was a mere eleven years old. 2. It is common for one's view of authority to develop in their adolescent years. What is your view of authority, and what event most affected it? I was inculcated to respect authority. Mother also advised us that even though they are to be respected we should still follow our conscience, for it is better to suffer for virtue than to excel in immorality. 3. What were you like in high school? What "clique" did you best fit in with? My background of homeschooling and a premature degree in mathematics diminished any fortuitous high school experience. Nonetheless, I did associate mostly with those in my mathematics classes. There was little time for jovial recreation but we did appreciate a game we called Prove Your Worth. Participants would compete in a timed, head-to-head battle where the victor would be the one who could solve, or persuade the audience they had solved, a series of very complicated mathematical proofs. We found the name humorous because it was a play on words; prove being the proof itself as well as attempting to finish it first and worth being the value calculated as well as the prestige achieved by winning. Ha! 4. What were your high school goals? At the age at which I would have been in high school, my goals were to obtain my master's degrees in Electrical Engingeering and Physics. My intrinsic ambition, then, was to be the most accomplished person of my age. 5. Who was your idol when you were growing up? Who did you first fantasize about in your life? I had great admiration for the historic scientist, Isaac Newton. His findings in physics, mathematics, and optics created the backbone of modern science. Specifically speaking, his discovery of calculus and the laws of gravity. I also respect his ability to be true to his faith without compromising scientific understanding. 6. What is your favorite memory from adolescence? After resolute diligence on my part I was at last able to walk across the graduation dais and aquire my Ph.D. in Mathematics when I was fifteen years old. Becoming the youngest person to obtain such a high honor is by far my fondest of memories. 7. What is your worst memory from adolescence? I detest evoking such memories for fear of vengeance, however, the first year of college was terrifying. Disregard the obvious fact that I was only nine years old and had never abided anywhere without my family in excess of just a few days; the other undergraduates saw it fit to initiate me into their social hierarchy. They hazed me, tortured my subconscious. It took me years to forgive the atrocities they conducted on me. Why would they do such things to a boy, unable to defend himself against men twice his size? Excuse me, I need an interval of meditation. We can resume our questions after my intermission. Occupational Questions 1. Do you have a job? What is it? Do you like it? If no job, where does your money come from? I am the founder and presently chief executive officer of Neo-Technologies, Inc. Originally my business was primarily focused in the research of mutation sciences. H.E.R.O. contributed many advancments to the understanding of human genomes before it collapsed and ceased producing results. I managed to salvage the company and alter it entirely into a technological corporation. I relish being able to possess, labor, and invest in a entireprise that is ameliorating the world. 2. What is your boss or employer like? (Or publisher, or agent, or whatever.) This is an irrelevant question per the aforementioned response. 3. What are your co-workers like? Do you get along with them? Any in particular? Which ones don't you get along with? I have precisely choosen each of my associates with refined consideration. I do not dislike nor doubt their competence, and neither do they mine. Generally, I am isolated in my laboratory so I have a tendency to only encounter them once a month during our board meeting attendence. 4. What is something you had to learn that you hated? Giving up sole proprietorship and transforming my business into a world wide corperation was a tedious and complicated endeavour. One that I would have prefered not to undergone. 5. Do you tend to save or spend your money? Why? I favor the term: "investing my money." Likes & Dislikes Questions 1. What hobbies do you have? My leisurely avocations include poring over non-fiction, superfluous programming, and otherwise bustling around in my privy laboratory. 2. Who is your closest mundane friend? Describe them and how you relate to them. To my dismay, I don't have many close companions other than my own consanguineal brethren. I'd say the person I know the best is my assistant, Callie. And I must say, she does have a certain aptitude for electronics. 3. Who is your worst mundane enemy? Describe them and why you don't get along. Considering my history in genetics, government classified contracts, and new age technology I have accrued several enemies throughout the years. I'm uncertain if there is any one person in particular that I would consider injurious, however, many extremist and civil rights groups have attempted to dismantle my business thereby threatening my very legacy. 4. What bands do you like? Do you even pay attention? The melodic and harmonic tones accompanied by the rhythmic patterns of the jazz genre aid in my ability to focus on my work. Chuck Mangione, Arturo Sandoval, and Maynard Ferguson are some I hold in high esteem. 5. What tape or CD hasn't left your player since your purchased it? Why? I recently purchased a vintage Spyro Gyra album. Setting it to play repetitiously activates my most dextral hemisphere's creativity allowing the other hemisphere to translate that into new and invigorating ideas. 6. What song is "your song?" Why? My song? I assume you mean the one I favor most. Let me think for a moment…I believe the song that I listen to with the most frequency is Funky Cha-Cha by Arturo Sandoval. 7. What's been your favorite movie of all time? Perplexing as it may be, the animated film, WALL-E, is my most treasured. 8. Read any good books? What were they? Yes, actually. I was introduced to a series by Brandon Sanderson called Mistborn. It is most definitely one that I would recommend; filled with fantasy and heroic empowerment, though with a unique direction. I do read a great quantity of research material—which is most intriguing and stimulating—but there are times, like this, where some recreational reading is enjoyable as well. 9. What do you watch on the Television? Heavens no, what a way to squander your time and energy. Mother taught us exert ourselves so that we may be otherwise fruitful with our lives. 10. When it comes to mundane politics, do you care? If so, which way do you tend to vote? If not, why don't you care? My beliefs lie in our foundations as a country. Government should be limited to the confines of the nation's needs not an individual's coveted pleas. Our people's dearth should be fulfilled through our community, not ignorant bureaucrats detached from the populace. Honestly, that's why I assembled this team of anomalous heroes. It is our duty to answer their needs. 11. What type of places do you hang out in with your mundane friends? It has been said antecedently that I am comparable to that of a hermit crab. I assume that's because I engage most of my time in my lab rather than out socializing. 12. What type of places do you hang out in with your normal friends? The only place that would qualify would be The Haven, the covert area below Neo-Technologies where the Exant Force colaborates together. 13. What annoys you more than anything else? Simple minds. In my experience the combination of ignorance and naivity can be a frustratingly dangerous contingency. 14. What would be the perfect gift for you? As a man who has myriad possesions it would be ambitious to acquire the perfection noted in your question. Perhaps you should be asking me what is perfect gift to give someone other than myself for it is better to give than it is to receive. If that indeed your inquiry my reply would be that of knowledge. Other than our faith and our love, nothing is more important than wisdom. 15. What's the most beautiful thing you've ever seen? I witness the beauty of mathematics everyday. Encompassing our every being. Such as the importanance of the trinity and how that is imitated in a triangle's physical strength or how the derivative of a circle's area is it's circumference. These things astound me. 16. What time of day is your favorite? My mother always told us, "The early bird gets the worm," and while I won't point out the incredible assumptions of that statement I will attest to the connotation of the saying. It is most definitely for your benefit—all ours—to rise early and strive high throughout the day. This brings success and respect. 17. What kind of weather is your favorite? I appreciate Fall but particularly dislike when Arella decides to alter my comfort. 18. What is your favorite food? What is your least favorite food? Before the accident I was quite fond of sushi, unfortunately my papillae and gustatory cells are unresponsive. 19. What is your favorite drink? (Coffee, Coke, Juice, Beer, Wine, etc.) Were you distracted when you questioned me last? I do not have the ability to taste anymore and did not partake in drinking alcohol or sodas before. Water is the most important aspect to life and I believe should be the most consumed. We are made up of 70% of dihydrogen monoxide so it is only logical that I would drink that above all other beverages. 20. What's your favorite animal? Why? Crows fascinate me, particularly the Raven. As an inventor, their innate ability to devise contrivances shows a higher intelligence unknown to most animals. Were you au courant enough to know that if a Corvus brachyrhynchos fails to open a nut on its own it will release said nut over the road such that a vehicle will drive over it? The crow then patiently waits for the traffic light to transition to red so that it can descend and retrieve the fractured nut. 21. Do you have any pets? Do you want any pets? What kind? My schedule is much too voluminous to care for an animal. 22. What do you find most relaxing? (Not as in stress relief, but as something that actually calms you down.) Microscopic nanites drift through my bloodstream which keep my stress levels at a minimum. On rare occasions that I do get taut, I'll take apart and reassemble a vintage radio my dad and I built when I was a kid. The memories of us doing it together calm me down. 23. What habit that others have annoys you most? People who refuse to proper grammar or cannot compute simple mathematics. 24. What kind of things embarrass you? Why? I abhor using erroneous words in the wrong context. 25. What don't you like about yourself? There are moments where I have qualms about my analytical process. I question whether I show enough compassion and concern for others over my typically logical solutions. 26. How would you like to look? Without falsity, I admit to having propensity towards my old self. Occasionally, I recall what it was like to have a body the way God designed it. Sex & Intimacy Questions 1. Would you consider yourself straight, gay, bi, or something else? Why? Emphatically and unequivocally heterosexual. 2. Who was the first person you had sex with? When did it happen? What was it like? How well did it go? I was pursuing my first Ph.D. and she was my laboritory assistant. The university required that I profess a course to complete my degree and assigned me an associate. Post relations I discovered that she had connived her way to the top of the list through obscure means. It is my understanding now that she had—has—a profuse propensity towards copulation with noteworthy professors. Looking back I feel naive about the whole matter but she was well versed in such activity. 3. Have you ever had a same-sex experience? Who with, what was it like, and how did it go? Negative. 4. What is your deepest, most well-hidden sexual fantasy? Would you ever try it? Considering my current lack thereof, I would like to create a biomechanical penis that has complete responsiveness and sensitivity. 5. What was the wildest thing you've ever done, sexually? Who was it with and when did it happen? I would list my first experience as my most uninhibited. 6. Is there any sexual activity that you enjoy and/or practice regularly that can be considered non-standard? (Bondage, Fantasy Play, etc.) Why do you like it? Not particularly, no. 7. Is there any sexual activity that you will not, under any circumstances, do? I'm an orthodox man, there is a multitute of activities I will not engage in. 8. Do you currently have a lover? What is their name, and what is your relationship like? What are they like? Why are you attracted to them? There is a lady that I delight in holding conversation with but I am unfortunately a single bachelor. 9. What is the perfect romantic date? Dinner on my private yacht at dusk—with dim illumination—far away from any habitable land mass. After we've concluded dinner we would partake in stargazing; identifying as many constellations as we can recall. 10. Describe the perfect romantic partner for you. A woman who is intellectual as well as alluring. It is necessity that she be able to converse intricately. 11. Do you ever want to get married and have children? When do you see this happening? Who doesn't? That is the American dream, right? Presently, though, I'm engrossed in my work. 12. What is more important - sex or intimacy? Why? Without intimacy coitus is inscrutable. 13. What was your most recent relationship like? Who was it with? (Does not need to be sexual, merely romantic.) The last woman I embraced was over a quinquenniad ago. She was sympathetic but we were discordant cognitively. 14. What's the worst thing you've done to someone you loved? During my collegiate years I often neglected my responsibilities as a suitor because I was more attentive to my schoolwork than to the previously agreed to reservations at various resteraunts. Drug & Alcohol Questions 1. How old were you when you first got drunk? What was the experience like? Surprisingly to most, I have never been inebriated. I have witnessed far too many others commit foolish acts to immerse myself in such activity. Did anything good come out of it? Did anything bad come out of it? By not preoccupying myself with alchohol I was able to focus my efforts on study and research. 2. Do you drink on any kind of regular basis? I've been known to infrequently drink a beer or two but only because I appreciate the taste. With the nanites embedded in my body it would be almost impossible for alchohol to have any affect on me anymore. 3. What kind of alcohol do you prefer? I have an ample assortment of wines, however, I am partial to a modest ale. 4. Have you ever tried any other kind of "mood altering" substance? Which one(s)? What did you think of each? Not at all. 5. What do you think of drugs and alcohol? Are there any people should not do? Why or why not? Intoxicants are of great risk to one's cerebrum. They can cause unalterable injury diminishing your IQ or even cause death. It's disconcerting that anyone would do this to themselves. Morality Questions 1. What one act in your past are you most ashamed of? What one act in your past are you most proud of? "I was most vexed with myself when I once cheated on an examination. Alternatively, I endured through the night engrossed in my most neoteric avocation at the time. Half an hour prior to the examination I became conscious of my circumstance and scrawled the respective information on a frayed document I caught sight of. It is something I don't discuss because it attenuates my intelligence to do such a thing. I'm not particularly fond of the word proud. It is pride that led to the fall of man, after all. A more appropriate word for which you ultimately are asking, I think, is honor. The thing that brings me great honor is all the admirable feats my aggregation has attained by uniting the Extant Force." 2. Have you ever been in an argument before? Over what, with who, and who won? Your first inquiry deserves no response as it is complete rhetoric and you're second is relative. There are no "winners" when it comes to an altercation as both sides of the argument are statistically more likely to be solely based on opinion. Even those who list factual evidence are more apt to be misguided or misinterpreted understandings. 3. Have you ever been in a physical fight before? Over what, with who, and who won? Such is the business we are in. 4. What do you feel most strongly about? Education tops my list but I would expound upon that by claiming wisdom is the most valuable. Knowledge is insipid without experience, prudence, and aptitude. 5. What do you pretend to feel strongly about, just to impress people? I postulate that I take more interest in prosaic things. I deplore sounding arrogant. 6. What trait do you find most admirable, and how often do you find it? I believe what I feel most strongly about is also what I find most admirable. There is no equivalent to wisdom and honor. 7. Is there anything you think should not be incorporated into the media or art (sex, violence, greed, etc.,)? If so, what and why, and if not, why not? Based solely on my religious beliefs, yes there are a multitude of elements displayed in our media and artistic society that should be withdrawn. However, based on my political beliefs our nation should acquiesce to the freedom of speech as decreed in our constitution. 8. Do you have any feelings in general that you are disturbed by? What are they? Why do they disturb you? I'm abhorred by the thought of unplugging myself. By that I mean disconnecting my armament from my remaining biological tissue. It has been difficult to sustain life in my condition and I know self-immolation is a sin but I would be mendacious to say I never thought of extermination of this feeble body. 9. What is your religious view of things? What religion, if any, do you call your own? I believe in YHWH, our risen God. I believe in the fall of man and the ingress of sin into our cosmos. It is only through His grace and forgiveness that we may redeemed. 10. Do you think the future is hopeful? Why? Despite our immorality, I am faithful that our God has endowed each of us capabilities and talents to do what needs to be done. 11. Is an ounce of prevention really worth a pound of cure? Which is more valuable? Why do you feel this way? The overt notion is that prevention is the most logical. I assert that while I agree, one must examine God's time line. If prevention was the most efficient solution why did God send His son to die for our redemption instead of facilely removing the fruit from the garden. 12. What's the worst thing that can be done to another person? Why? Grievance through unforgiveness. Forgiveness supplies true peace to the spirit. Bitterness only chafes the heart. 13. What's the worst thing you could actually do to someone you hated? Extirpate any credence of hope. Hope secures us, without it all else is naught. 14. Are you a better leader or follower? Why do you think that? If you think the whole leader-follower archetype is silly, say so, and explain why? I consider myself neither of those. I am an independent thinker. I prefer solitude. 15. What is your responsibility to the world, if any? Why do you think that? I perceive my vocation to be that of preserving and assisting the inauspicious. 16. Do you think redemption is possible? If so, can anyone be redeemed, or are there only certain circumstances that can be? If not, why do you think nothing can redeem itself? Only through forgiveness of each other or the forgiveness of our God can we be redeemed. 17. Is it okay for you to cry? When was the last time you cried? I affirm that emotional lacrimation is appropriately rational. I have lamented during several circumstances. 18. What do you think is wrong with MOST people, overall? People have been propagated into a sinful existance. They bear the erroneous judgment of their progenitors. Post-Supernatural Awareness Questions 1. When did you go through whatever made you supernatural? What was it like (in your opinion)? While cliché, my body was bereaved in a laboratory desolation. I was ameliorating the Adrenaline formula when I negligently allowed two compounds to infuse. Propitiously my previous contrivances were capable of preserving me and essentially extend to me their leverage. 2. What do you think now of being supernatural? Is it cool, or have you been screwed? It is of great honor to acknowledge the role, of what is essentially my own life support, bestows upon me for the betterment of others. 3. Do you have a mentor? Who are they? How did you become their student? Only my father and ccollegiate professors. 4. Do you have any magical items? Where did you get them? Magicians are meant for Las Vegas. Magic is merely an illusion of science. 5. What do you think of the other denizens of the World of Darkness? Why for each? (If you haven't met something, do you think it exists, and if it does, is that bad or good?) Satan and his demons are indubitably extant. They are consumed with destroying our reality and degenerating our restraint to temptation and sin. 6. Think of a major event that happened during your training/initiation. What was it? Unanticipatedly after Extant Force had been contrived Vigor Falls was attacked by an astral being who vociferated himself, Blood Scorpius. My cohorts and I were unprepared and vulnerable. Favorable to our predicament a dyad of heroes reinforced our efforts. Our serpentine adversary may have eluded us but we attained much more. Arella and Purple Psychic were united with Extant Force. 7. What is something you had to learn during your training that you hated? Why did you hate it? Even with my astute aegis and advanced armaments I still have hindrances, limits are still existant. Miscellaneous Questions 1. What is the thing that has frightened you most? Do you think there is anything out there that's scarier than that? What do you think that would be? I've observed implausible terrors and endured cessation. I query further severe conditions than those I've beheld. I suppose if I had to excerpt a single anecdote it was the abrupt juncture intervening life and death. Being aware of your impending annihilation and being altogether futile is formidable. 2. Has anyone or anything you've ever cared about died? How did you feel about it? What happened? There have been many kinpersons of whom I cherished die. I was quite afflicted over their removal from our planet, however, took comfort in knowing they were with God. 3. What was the worst injury you've ever received? How did it happen? Do I have to reiterate my lab incident yet again? 4. How ticklish are you? Where are you ticklish? The accident ceded the majority of my nerves to an inoperable state. 5. What is your current long term goal? To be accommodating to the macrocosm through innovation, prudence, and aptitude. My investment in the Extant Force has established a precedence for prowess and fortitude. They have renounced themselves so that they can succor others. My ambition is for them to persist in doing so. 6. What is your current short term goal? Presently I am rebuilding an armament that has been malfunctioning. 7. Do you have any bad habits? If so, what are they, and do you plan to get rid of them? While cogitating I incessantly impact my writing utensil on the nearest apparatus. I'm cognizant that this can cause acute annoyance, however, my subconsious subjugates my rational thought in every instance. 8. If you were a mundane person, what would you do with your life? What occupation would you want, and how would you spend all your time? I discern that you are asking if I were ordinary as I already pertain to this cosmos. I surmise that without my intellect I would exist as others do. I might be the employee rather than the empoyer, allocate most of my funds to debt, or nurture a family. Why should that concern me though? I have no remorse. 9. What time period do you wish you had lived in? Why? (Looking at this as an attempt to change history doesn't count.) What appeals to you about this era? The epoch in which Sir Isaac Newton abided in. It would have been delectable to engage in confabulation with him and to observe the forthcoming new age in science. 10. How private of a person are you? Why? I believe I've offered enough information for you to ascertain a conclusion. 11. If you were to gain an obscenely large sum of money (via an inhertiance, a lawsuit, a lottery, or anything else) what would you do with it? I would donate to a virtuous organization. I have accumulated enough wealth. 12. What would you wish for if you found a genie? Disregarding the substance of a genie's existance, there is excissive contingency upon such a request. I would not beseech a genie in any manner. 13. What do you do when you are bored? Your tautology is becoming insufferable. This inquiring isn't entitled to a proper reply. 14. What is the most frightening potential handicap or disfigurement you can conceive of? What makes it so frightening? Have you neglected to observe that which is in front of you? This interrogation is terminated.

Ice Penguin was the result of several experiments done the H.E.R.O. program under Dr. Lin's guidance. Waddles, as he was called at the time, was the only successful case among all the animal experimentation done in the lab. As a result Waddles developed a humanoid figure and the ability to speak. Over time he gained additional control over liquids' freezing temperatures, water in particular. Since then he has been trying to obtain citizenship but keeps getting denied by the government. It offends him because the law requires that he have an "owner."
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Mandatory Questions 1. What about you is heroic? Oh, I don't know. I guess you could say that I freeze water pretty well. 2. What about you is social? What do you like about people? Talking to people makes me nervous. Usually Jacquin speaks for me. This interview is making me nervous already. 3. Of what benefit could you be to the current group? I'm small and fairly quick. I can get into places most of my team can't. 4. Why would you choose to join the current group? It's the only life I've ever known. Dr. Lin basically created me and Jacquin is my only true friend. 5. Invent an adventure/plot that your character would actively undertake (as opposed to just tagging along)? I guess I'm, to some degree, sympathetic towards other animals. I feel that with my mutation it is even more my responibility to protect them. Personal Questions 1. What is your real, birth name? What name do you use? Since my parents can't speak like I can I only know my lab name, Waddles. 2. Do you have a nickname? What is it, and where did you get it? I've been nicknamed the Ice Penguin, because I can make ice and all. 3. What do you look like? (Include height, weight, hair, eyes, skin, apparent age, and distinguishing features) Like a penguin turned human. My feathers have lightened from black to a dark blue, though. I guess that's from the whole low temperature thing. I don't really know. Before this I was a royal penguin; during the transformation I lost my crests. 4. How do you dress most of the time? I like to wear this trench coat. It makes me feel more human. 5. How do you "dress up?" You're looking at it. 6. How do you "dress down?" I guess in my natural feathers. 7. What do you wear when you go to sleep? Nothing. 8. Do you wear any jewelry? No, they don't make jewelry that fits me. 9. In your opinion, what is your best feature? My size. 10. What's your real birth date? Even though I was subject to the scientists experiments I was not bred in captivity so my real birthdate is unknown. 11. Where were you born? On Macquarie Island. It is the exclusive spot for Royal breeding. 12. Where do you live? Describe it: Is it messy, neat, avant-garde, sparse, etc.? I've only ever known the lab so I still stay at Dr. Lin's place. Technically he owns me since the government won't grant me citizenship. 13. Do you own a car? Describe it. Never had a need for a car. 14. What is your most prized mundane possession? Why do you value it so much? When I was first put into captivity the scientists gave me a plush fish. I guess if I treasured anything it would be that. 15. What one word best describes you? Quiet. Familial Questions 1. What was your family like? It's hard to say really. After a penguin chick has fledged his parents venture off to sea to eat. The only time we go back to the colony is for breeding several months later. I was taken during that time by the scientists. 2. Who was your father, and what was he like? From what I remember of him, he was a very loving and dedicated father. After I was born he kept me warm while my mother was out gathering food. 3. Who was your mother, and what was she like? She made sure that I was well fed and healthy. Other than feeding times I can't say I was around her much. 4. What was your parents marriage like? Were they married? Did they remain married? Penguins tend to have very lasting relationships. Although they don't see each other for six to seven months out of the year, they will find each other each year at the island to mate and raise a new child together. 5. What were your siblings names? What were they like? We royals only have one chick at a time and though I'm sure I have siblings I never met any. 6. What's the worst thing one of your siblings ever did to you? What's the worst thing you've done to one of your siblings? Can't say. 7. When's the last time you saw any member of your family? Where are they now? The last time I saw them was just a few months after I was hatched. I'm sure they're still in the routine: out at sea or mating on the island. 8. Did you ever meet any other family members? Who were they? What did you think of them? No. Childhood Questions 1. What is your first memory? My dad keeping me warm in the frigid air. 2. What was your favorite toy? The plush fish I was given at the lab. 3. What was your favorite game? What I guess was actually one of the lab studies was a "game" where I was supposed to shoot targets with shards of ice I made from a pool of water. It was really fun. Kind of like going to a carnival. 4. Any non-family member adults stick out in your mind? Who were they, and how did you know them? Why do they stick out? When Jacquin joined the H.E.R.O. program she looked after me. She was an appreciated escape from the day to day lab testings. Jacquin offered comfort and compassion when I otherwise didn't have any. 5. Who was your best friend when you were growing up? While I guess that would be Jacquin! 6. What is your fondest, childhood memory? It's probably the best and worst of my memories, I guess, but when I was transformed in the lab I had a sense of awareness about everything. It's amazing to me the differences between thinking like a penguin and having a more advance human-like brain. Understanding things that were foreign to me was my fondest memory for sure. 7. What is your worst childhood memory? At the same time as having an understanding beyond what I knew before I actually liked being a little ignorant of the way the world works. Especially of all the violence and manipulating. As a simple penguin my goals were to mate and to eat. I didn't have to worry about anything else. Now I have a whole new set of responsibilities. Adolescent Questions 1. How old were you when you went on your first date? Since being taken from my colony I haven't had a chance to find a mate. I guess at this point it would be almost impossible because of all the changes I've gone through. I wonder if I could ever date a human. 2. It is common for one's view of authority to develop in their adolescent years. What is your view of authority, and what event most affected it? I may have a little resistance to authority simply because of my situation. I find it really hard to trust people. 3. What were you like in high school? What "clique" did you best fit in with? I never had a chance to become entangled in the school atmosphere. 4. What were your high school goals? My goals at H.E.R.O. were to increase my newfound knowledge and to get control of my powers. 5. Who was your idol when you were growing up? Who did you first fantasize about in your life? I loved ready Stan Lee's fictional work. His superheroes spoke to me on a personal level. 6. What is your favorite memory from adolescence? Meeting Jacquin was the best thing for me. 7. What is your worst memory from adolescence? The scientists decided to increase my examinations and testing during this time. Without Jacquin I don't know if I could've made it through. Occupational Questions 1. Do you have a job? What is it? Do you like it? If no job, where does your money come from? My only job is to serve as a member of the Extant Force. 2. What is your boss or employer like? (Or publisher, or agent, or whatever.) Dr. Lin is a great person. He has it all: fame, money, and intelligence. Even though he regrets the things that happened to me always tells me I'm destined for greater things. 3. What are your co-workers like? Do you get along with them? Any in particular? Which ones don't you get along with? Roxstar is gigantic! Jacquin is the best but I've talked about her already. Arella isn’t really all that nice. Micah has a conflicted past and can be a bit overractive but he has a caring heart. 4. What is something you had to learn that you hated? Learning to speak wasn't easy. It took a few years before I understood everything and that's just English! Oh my! 5. Do you tend to save or spend your money? Why? I don't actually make any money. Dr. Lin provides all that I need. He says that's his repayment for how I was treated in the lab. Likes & Dislikes Questions 1. What hobbies do you have? I enjoy playing hockey, I guess. I've been attempting to control my powers well enough to create ice creatures that have enough mind of their to play with me. I guess that would help the Extant Force too. 2. Who is your closest mundane friend? Describe them and how you relate to them. I wouldn’t really call her mundane but Jacquin is my closest friend. I don't really talk much to others. You're lucky I'm doing this today. 3. Who is your worst mundane enemy? Describe them and why you don't get along. Right now the government is. Only in the sense that they refuse to grant me citizenship. I'm not an advocate for anarchy or anything like that. 4. What bands do you like? Do you even pay attention? I tend to listen to more emo bands like Emery or Chevelle. 5. What tape or CD hasn't left your player since your purchased it? Why? I just discovered a new band called Ivoryline. I love the way they write their lyrics. Very good band. 6. What song is "your song?" Why? Bend the Bracket by Chevelle because it describes the internal war within ourselves. We get so caught up in being right or trying defeat evil that often forget that the evil starts within us. We're all sinners at heart. 7. What's been your favorite movie of all time? I guess that would be, uh, I'm not sure. I haven't had a lot of exposure to a wide range of movies. Let's see, um, if I had to pick one it would probably be the newest Batman trilogy. I like the darkness of it and how it shows true human struggles. My only complaint is that they left out The Penguin! 8. Read any good books? What were they? I don't really read much. That's one area the scientists didn't touch on. They taught me a lot of social interactions and verbal history of our world but I have limited reading and writing experience. It takes me a long time when I do read. That doesn't mean I don't read at all though. When I do read it's usually a comic book. I like that the dialogue is minimal and it has pictures. 9. What do you watch on the Television? Uh, I guess the Animal Channel? I don't watch T.V. very often but when I do watching the animal planet brings me back to my roots. 10. When it comes to mundane politics, do you care? If so, which way do you tend to vote? If not, why don't you care? No, I stay out of politics. 11. What type of places do you hang out in with your mundane friends? I don't enjoy going out in public, people tend to stare at a talking penguin. 12. What type of places do you hang out in with your normal friends? Jacquin and me tend to hang out in the Haven. She knows how umcomforable other settings make me. She has tried to get me to go out several times though. She likes the party scene. 13. What annoys you more than anything else? Gawking. I know it's not my fault I am the way that I am and I don't blame the scientists either; they were only trying to further their knowledge. But I don't like being stared at, especially when they already know who I am from the news. 14. What would be the perfect gift for you? Right now, to be granted citizenship. In any other time I would say to be treated as an equal. I don't like being treated as if I have a disability. In fact, I've been given gifts. There's just no reason to treat me like I'm still an animal. It bugs me. 15. What's the most beautiful thing you've ever seen? My mom, or at least he memory of her. It may sound cliché but she was a stunning woman. 16. What time of day is your favorite? Night, I guess. It's easy to stay out of the public's sight during that time. Plus it's always cooler which makes using my powers easier. 17. What kind of weather is your favorite? Seems like an obvious answer. I prefer frigid temperatures. 18. What is your favorite food? What is your least favorite food? I enjoy a variety of seafoods but it's the fish I like most. 19. What is your favorite drink? Staring or pointing. 24. What kind of things embarrass you? Why? It is extremely embarassing to be chaperoned everywhere I go. 25. What don't you like about yourself? I don't like that my feathers turned blue when mutated. I want to have my natural colors back. 26. How would you like to look? Like an overgrown Royal Penguin. Like I've already said my feathers turned blue but I also lost the crests on my head. I miss those. Sex & Intimacy Questions 1. Would you consider yourself straight, gay, bi, or something else? Why? As are the vast majority of penguins, I am straight. 2. Who was the first person you had sex with? When did it happen? What was it like? How well did it go? Since I was taken away from the colony at too young an age I haven't mated yet. 3. Have you ever had a same-sex experience? Who with, what was it like, and how did it go? No. 4. I want a devoted mate who will take care of our children and stay with me year after year. 11. Do you ever want to get married and have children? When do you see this happening? Of course I do, who doesn't? 12. What is more important - sex or intimacy? Why? These qualities are foreign to my species. I don't understand the intimacy that humans prefer. However, without sex there are no children. 13. What was your most recent relationship like? Who was it with? (Does not need to be sexual, merely romantic.) I have not yet held a relationship. 14. What's the worst thing you've done to someone you loved? I'm not really sure. No one has ever told me I have hurt them before. Drug & Alcohol Questions 1. How old were you when you first got drunk? What was the experience like? I'm too afraid to drink alcohol. Being so far away from my ocean requires that I take extreme precaution with my hydration. Alcohol is a deyhrating beverage and that scares me. Did anything good come out of it? Did anything bad come out of it? I wouldn't know. 2. Do you drink on any kind of regular basis? I drink water all the time. 3. What kind of alcohol do you prefer? … 4. Have you ever tried any other kind of "mood altering" substance? Which one(s)? What did you think of each? From what I've seen and experienced so far in my few short years, these things have caused the downfall of man. They minimalize their ability to think rationally and provoke anger. I prefer to stay away from them. Morality Questions 1. What one act in your past are you most ashamed of? What one act in your past are you most proud of? Back when I was still being trained–testing may be more fitting, I guess–I got really angry at one of the scientists and his left arm. Have you ever seen liquid nitrogen when applied to living tissue? Well, it's not pretty. Needless to say, he was pretty upset. 2. Have you ever been in an argument before? Over what, with who, and who won? After I froze the scientist's arm off I learned to control my anger. I felt pretty bad about what happened and didn't want the same thing for anyone other than my enemies. I save my anger for them. 3. Have you ever been in a physical fight before? Over what, with who, and who won? That's basically what Extant Force does. So, yes. 4. What do you feel most strongly about? I guess it's because Dr. Lin has had a big influence in my life but I feel very strongly that criminals should be brought to justice. Particularly those who mistreat animals. 5. What do you pretend to feel strongly about, just to impress people? I don't really care what others think about me. I do what I want and feel like I need to do. 6. What trait do you find most admirable, and how often do you find it? Friendship, I guess, can be a very hard thing to find. Most people are more interested in what they can get out of you rather than providing companionship. 7. Is there anything you think should not be incorporated into the media or art (sex, violence, greed, etc.,)? If so, what and why, and if not, why not? I could care less. I guess some things could sway someone's opinion to do something but I think they would probably do those things regardless of what they saw. 8. Do you have any feelings in general that you are disturbed by? What are they? Why do they disturb you? I, uh, well I can…Sometimes I feel that I am living in a deep depression, I guess. Maybe it's because of the disconnection between my true being and what I've become. 9. What is your religious view of things? What religion, if any, do you call your own? Dr. Lin talks a lot about his faith. So does Micah. I'm not sure what I believe. I mean we also have a flying Goddess who can't die who claims she created the earth on our team. How do you choose? She sure doesn't seem like the creator that Micah or Dr. Lin talk about. This religion stuff is all very new to me. I guess I would say there's a god, at least it feel like there should be. What comes after that I don't know. 10. Do you think the future is hopeful? Why? The Extant Force is trying to make it that way. 11. Is an ounce of prevention really worth a pound of cure? Which is more valuable? Why do you feel this way? From inside the lab I've seen what was supposed to be cure after cure being created. It seems to me that with all that preparation there's not much of a difference between the two. 12. What's the worst thing that can be done to another person? Why? I guess to take his hope away. 13. What's the worst thing you could actually do to someone you hated? Haven't we already talked about something like this? I'm beginning to feel quite uncomfortable with so many questions. Do you think redemption is possible? If so, can anyone be redeemed, or are there only certain circumstances that can be? If not, why do you think nothing can redeem itself? I believe that someone can be redeemed only after they have proved themselves to be redeemable. 17. Is it okay for you to cry? When was the last time you cried? I'm not sure if penguins can even cry. I've not done so. 18. What do you think is wrong with MOST people, overall? It's too easy to be selfish and ignore your responsibilities. I think that's what fills the hearts of most men. Post-Supernatural Awareness Questions 1. When did you go through whatever made you supernatural? What was it like (in your opinion)? Science gave me my special abilities. What was it like? It was horrible. I hate not being what I should be. I hate having to go through all of the tests and research the scientists wanted. But most of all I wish I didn't have to struggle with my identity now. 2. What do you think now of being supernatural? Is it cool, or have you been screwed? I do like my abilities but like I said I would rather be a normal penguin whose only problem is finding his first mate. 3. Do you have a mentor? Who are they? How did you become their student? Not really. Dr. Lin does his best to help but he's usually busier with something else. I like him much more than the rest of the scientists which is why I joined his team. I still don't see much of him except when we're on a mission or the team's training. 4. Do you have any magical items? Where did you get them? No. Is magic even real? 5. What do you think of the other denizens of the World of Darkness? Why for each? (If you haven't met something, do you think it exists, and if it does, is that bad or good?) What's a denizen? World of Darkness? We all live in a world of darkness. 6. Think of a major event that happened during your training/initiation. What was it? I remember the first time I figured out how to slide on a path of ice I constructed. It reminded me of being back home and tobagganing on the snow. It's probably one of the only times I'm happy. 7. What is something you had to learn during your training that you hated? Why did you hate it? Everything. Where do I even start? Speaking like a human. Endless hours of needles and beeps. Exhaustion from little to no breaks during experimentational training. I hated most all of it. Miscellaneous Questions 1. What is the thing that has frightened you most? Do you think there is anything out there that's scarier than that? What do you think that would be? You might think that my mutation, abilities, or even the many hours of lab experiments would frighten me most. It would probably make the most sense to tell you of an encounter we had while I've been with the Extant Force. None of those things, though, have been as frightening as the day my parents left me alone as a chick to fend for myself. It was terrifying not having the parents that raised you for some six months just leave you to go hunt. Often times we'll never see our parents again even staying within the colony. I don't like thinking about it. That fear fuels me when we fight the bad guys, though. 2. Has anyone or anything you've ever cared about died? How did you feel about it? What happened? Fortunately not yet. I dread the day I have to confront the death of a friend. 3. What was the worst injury you've ever received? How did it happen? You see, it's an interesting thing being a part of the Extant Force. Things that would kill most we have endured. All thanks to Micah. It's crazy how he can take us and through only his mind mend our wounds. I can't tell you what's the worst because, honestly, I don't really know. I do remember the most painful thing though. When fighting Blood Scorpius, he had these robot scorpions that would inject you with some deadly serum. I remember the pain. My whole body ached more than anything I've ever experienced. It was all I could to scream. 4. How ticklish are you? Where are you ticklish? I'm not sure, no one's ever tried. I guess probably not much. I have a lot of blubber to get through. 5. What is your current long term goal? To build better friendships, get rid of my depression, and to find a mate. 6. What is your current short term goal? To become a legal citizen of the United States. 7. Do you have any bad habits? If so, what are they, and do you plan to get rid of them? Sometimes my animalistic tendencies come out. Such as making loud noises. Micah can't stand it when I do that. 8. If you were a mundane person, what would you do with your life? What occupation would you want, and how would you spend all your time? Person? Or Penguin? I believe I've already told you what I would do if I were still a penguin. 9. What time period do you wish you had lived in? Why? (Looking at this as an attempt to change history doesn't count.) What appeals to you about this era? Does it matter? I like where I am, I guess. 10. How private of a person are you? Why? Very. 11. If you were to gain an obscenely large sum of money (via an inheritance, a lawsuit, a lottery, or anything else) what would you do with it? I've never had to worry about money. I guess I would use it to take care of myself so Dr. Lin could save his own money. 12. What would you wish for if you found a genie? This is hard. At first I thought maybe I'd like to be a regular penguin again but I also do like some of the new things I've discovered. It would be really hard to go back. I'm not sure what I would wish for. I guess for another like me. I female humanoid penguin perhaps? 13. What do you do when you are bored? Make ice sculptures while listening to my emo music. 14. What is the most frightening potential handicap or disfigurement you can conceive of? What makes it so frightening? Lose my tail. It would just feel wrong. I'm not entirely sure I would be able to walk right after that.

Callie developed her abilities at a young age. With her love of video games and technology she became the outcast of her peers with Callie falling victim to the bullying we have all come to abhor. Growing up she gained a hatred for those that picked on others and longed for a time when she could repay them of their hideous deeds. As technology advanced so did her ability to control it. Curious about her innate capabilities Dr. Lin offered her a job at his lab managing the computer systems. Now Callie roams the street as Galtronic, standing up for the all the nerds, geeks, and outcasts, like herself. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Callie HewittElectrical Transportation, Innate Capability, Technopathy Mandatory Questions 1. What about you is heroic? I suppose the whole electronic controlling thing would be it. 2. What about you is social? What do you like about people? I guess I'd be the comic relief, the good Harley Quinn, of the group. I love making puns and finding humor in a bad situation. 3. Of what benefit could you be to the current group? My ability to basically read computers' minds can come in really handy. It allows me to find the bad guys before they even know where they're going. I'm also able to keep communication between me and the guys out in the city regardless of power. Somehow I'm able to keep electronics powered just by thinking about it. I don't know what it is but I can tap into their reserves or something like that. 4. Why would you choose to join the current group? I was pretty much labelled as the outcast when I was in my teens. My abilities didn't really make that any better but Marcus knows talent when he sees it and hired me to help him in the lab. I've pretty much taken over as the main IT chick, I'm in charge of all the Haven's technology; which is state of the art by the way. I did a little of my own tweeking. 5. Invent an adventure/plot that your character would actively undertake (as opposed to just tagging along)? I typically stay at the Haven keeping an eye on the team and search for inside information to help them with their mission. I would probably go with them if there was ever a special case that had anything to do with a high tech device that they couldn't figure out. Personal Questions 1. What is your real, birth name? What name do you use? Callie Hewitt 2. Do you have a nickname? What is it, and where did you get it? Well I've been called a lot of things in my life but a nickname, at least a friendly one, is not one of them. 3. What do you look like? (Include height, weight, hair, eyes, skin, apparent age, and distinguishing features) I'm pale skinned with bright, red hair that comes down just below my chin. I'm 5'3", about 128 lbs. I have several tattoos: one on my upper right arm of some clouds and hearts, a flower on my foot, stars on my stomach, a corset on my back, hearts on my boobs, and what looks like a pantyhose seem on the back of my legs. I tend to dress punk with skater shoes, skirts, and novelty shirts. I also have a lip ring and an industrial piercing in addition to my standard ear lobes rings. 4. How do you dress most of the time? Oh I'm sorry, I guess I answered that during your last question. Well, there you go. 5. How do you "dress up?" I like that asian look when I wear dresses. 6. How do you "dress down?" I dunno, a crop top and some shorts maybe. 7. What do you wear when you go to sleep? I have a ton of long gaming shirts that are really comfortable. 8. Do you wear any jewelry? Just my piercings and a cross necklace. 9. In your opinion, what is your best feature? I love my hair, very few people can say they're in the red hair club. As a bonus, my hair is easy to work with and flows beautifully. I'm blessed to not have to worry about it. 10. What's your real birth date? December 3, 1987 11. Where were you born? San Jose, California 12. Where do you live? Describe it: Is it messy, neat, avant-garde, sparse, etc.? I have my own place at the Neo Tech building. Marcus added it into my position's perks. I like it though, it gets cleaned by the company's janitor daily and it allows me to be plugged into the team's communication center 24/7. 13. Do you own a car? Describe it. No, there's not really a need for me to own one. I have everything I need here and what I don't have I can get online. 14. What is your most prized mundane possession? Why do you value it so much? My custom built computer. It's my gateway into the digital world. 15. What one word best describes you? Electric! Ha, see what I did there? Familial Questions 1. What was your family like? You could say I had an average life growing up. My parents were middle class, struggling to stay afloat in a face paced world. They lived paycheck to paycheck but worked hard to provide for the family. Dad always made sure we went to church on Sundays and ate together as a family. Mom was supportive and helpful. 2. Who was your father, and what was he like? My daddy did the best he could with the resources he had. We didn't always have much but he blessed us in so many ways. He was a caring and forgiving soul. I wonder sometimes if that's why I was so picked on. He loved me but he also wanted to fight my battles for me. It was embarassing when he would come up to the school because of an incident. 3. Who was your mother, and what was she like? My mom was a devoted wife and a hardworking woman. She would do anything for daddy. Sometimes I thought she went too far with it because she wouldn't ever argue with him. Whatever he said was law. Daddy was never mean to her and things ran rather smoothly in the home but I don't understand this old century maid-servant wife mindset. She always said it was what God wanted but I thought he gave us free will to be independent thinkers. There were very few fights between them, I'll give her that at least. 4. What was your parents marriage like? Were they married? Did they remain married? Once again I think I've gotten ahead of your questions. Ha. Like I said though, mom and dad got along quite well. They had little time to spend together as a family but they made the most of it when we did. 5. What were your siblings names? What were they like? The only sibling I've ever had was a little brother who died when he was two. Daddy wouldn't let mom tell me what happened but I suspect that it had something to do with my ability and me not being able to control it at such a young age. 6. What's the worst thing one of your siblings ever did to you? What's the worst thing you've done to one of your siblings? I couldn't tell you. I was too young to remember anything we did together. 7. When's the last time you saw any member of your family? Where are they now? The only family member still close to me is my daddy. My mom passed right after I graduated high school. Last time I saw daddy was about a month ago. We were celebrating his birthday. He's still in California but lives in a smaller town now. He wanted to get away from the crazy city life. 8. Did you ever meet any other family members? Who were they? What did you think of them? Of course I met other family members. I have several cousins and 1 living grandparent. We never spent a lot of time with them, though, because my parents were always working. Childhood Questions 1. What is your first memory? The furthest back I can remember was my daddy trying to teach me a board game. I'm not really sure how well I understood but he was patient with me. 2. What was your favorite toy? For one of my birthdays I was given some Micro Machines. They were miniature cars that you could play with. My daddy wasn't always the best at getting me girly toys. I wonder if it has anything to do with losing his son at such an early age. 3. What was your favorite game? Back when I was a kid? Hmm, my favorite was probably Megaman or Metroid. I liked the whole sci-fi thing and that they were ahead of our time. With my unique abilities I connected with these two characters at that time in my life. They were my escape. 4. Any non-family member adults stick out in your mind? Who were they, and how did you know them? Why do they stick out? I don't him personally but without Ralph H. Baer my childhood would have been a very different one. He is considered the father of video games. His inventions include the light gun and console cartridges. 5. Who was your best friend when you were growing up? I had a very small group of outcast friends. We weren't considered popular among our peers. My best friend was probably Capri. We did everything together. She was my support when I needed it most, which is about all the time! 6. What is your fondest, childhood memory? Probably the first time I ever jumped into a video game. I was playing Legend of Zelda and discovered that I could actually transport myself electronically into the game. It was a actually very frightening at first but once I figured it all out it was really fun to meet the characters within the game. It's interesting because even though they're programmed and controlled by us, once your in there they have their own unique personalities. Think Tron. 7. What is your worst childhood memory? Well, what could've been one of my best memories turned out to be my worst. My teachers noticed my talent for building electronics early on. In third grade I was asked to help a high school science team build a robot for a competition. I was extatic! I didn't foresee the humilation that would come along with it. I was already an outcast and when I joined the robot competition I was labeled as a freak. Kids just don't understand things like that. That wasn't the worst though, the high school students didn't think I was old enough to help them. They left me out of the planning stages and ultimately shunned me off the team. It was embarassing, frustating, and depressing all at the same time. Adolescent Questions 1. How old were you when you went on your first date? Since I was a pretty shy child I didn't get out much, if at all. I had my small group of friends and it was unlikely any of them would ask me on a date. I did have a few dates once I got to high school, though. The first was a boy who was a few years older than me. I was a sophmore. It was your typical awkward first movie date. There's really not much to say about it. 2. It is common for one's view of authority to develop in their adolescent years. What is your view of authority, and what event most affected it? Though most would have assumed otherwise, considering the group I hung out with and the way I dress, I was a fairly well mannered. I didn't–don't–see the point of rebelling just for the sake of rebelling. My daddy taught me to respect my elders and modelled that quite well with the way he treated mom. 3. What were you like in high school? What "clique" did you best fit in with? Like I said before, I wasn't exactly in the "accepted" crowd. I hung out with a lot of goth kids. We mostly discussed our cynical view of the world and different things could be. We were a lot of talk but with little action. 4. What were your high school goals? I just wanted to get out; to experience a world without "cliques" and teenage hormones. 5. Who was your idol when you were growing up? Who did you first fantasize about in your life? I often fantasized about Johnny Depp. I've been in love with him ever since I first saw Edward Scissorhands. 6. What is your favorite memory from adolescence? My favorite memory was when I was able to rejoin the robotic team in high school. I was older and more aggressive with my role than I was when I was younger. With my persevering leadership we went on to win the national robotics championship! It was my redemption for all the bullying and all the trash talk. That was my moment of glory. 7. What is your worst memory from adolescence? I think being stuck in adolescence is my worst memory. I longed for the day that teenage drama would be over with. Sure there would be dramatic situations in life after school but they would be real, unlike what the populars seemed to think was important. I hated high school and all it encompassed. Occupational Questions 1. Do you have a job? What is it? Do you like it? If no job, where does your money come from? Yeah, I work for Marcus at Neo Technologies, Inc. 2. What is your boss or employer like? (Or publisher, or agent, or whatever.) Marcus is an extremely intelligent man who I respect very much. I wish I could do the things he does. Sure I'm good with technology but I don't really understand half the things I do. With marcus he understands. His mind has no limitations. It's amazing to watch. 3. What are your co-workers like? Do you get along with them? Any in particular? Which ones don't you get along with? It's like any other job. There are a few I talk to and a lot I avoid. Mostly I'm consumed with my work. I can get lost in the electronics. 4. What is something you had to learn that you hated? Probably answering phone calls. I don't care for dealing with employee problems. I'd rather just go to their station, figure it out myself, and fix it rather than listen to their complaints. 5. Do you tend to save or spend your money? Why? I spend quite a bit because I'm constantly upgrading my equipment. It's hard to keep up with the advancements much less try to stay ahead. Likes & Dislikes Questions 1. What hobbies do you have? I still enjoy playing video games and when I have time play in them. I also like to build high end computers. It's fun seeing how far I can push the physical limitations of the hardware. 2. Who is your closest mundane friend? Describe them and how you relate to them. I spend a lot of time with Marcus but I'm not sure if I'd consider him my closest friend. I've tried to hang out with Jacquin, since she's more my age, but we're far too different to be close. My high school friends don't really talk to me anymore but that's not a bad thing either. They got into a lot trouble with the law after we graduated. I lost touch with them after that. I suppose my closest friends are ones that I've never actually met. There is an online gaming group that play with who I talk with almost daily. It's amazing the amount of support people can be who you've never actually met. 3. Who is your worst mundane enemy? Describe them and why you don't get along. A few years ago I discovered that the drama I once thought I'd excaped was secretly following me. A villainous woman calling herself Glamour has been causing something of a mess for me. I'm guessing it's one of the girls that used to bully me. Why else would she be targeting me? 4. What bands do you like? Do you even pay attention? I like metal bands. Metallica is one of my go tos. I've also been listening to a lot of Demon Hunter lately. 5. What tape or CD hasn't left your player since your purchased it? Why? True Defiance from Demon Hunter. 6. What song is "your song?" Why? Less than Nothing by Demon Hunter. This song humbles me when I become angry and vengeful. It reminds me that we are all sinners and despite our best efforts will always be less than nothing. 7. What's been your favorite movie of all time? Probably the new Star Trek movies. I missed the original ones being so young but these new ones are incredible. I really like how they were able to create a new series of movies for a new generation while preserving the lore of the older ones. 8. Read any good books? What were they? I don't really read books. I'd rather stick with my comics. Hey, they're still comic "books" right? 9. What do you watch on the Television? There's a few shows I like to watch. Fringe was my favorite, I hated how they ended it! Heroes was another good one. 10. When it comes to mundane politics, do you care? If so, which way do you tend to vote? If not, why don't you care? Politics were one of the few hazy areas about our family. My dad voted Republican and my mom voted Democrat. I'm not really sure which one I lean towards as I've tried to stay out of it. I'd say lately Iean more towards the more Libertarian party than anything. I understand the importance of limited government but I also think that personal freedoms should be that of the person. Ultimately government should stay out of the social issues completely. 11. What type of places do you hang out in with your mundane friends? Online. 12. What type of places do you hang out in with your normal friends? Ever heard of a LAN party? My closer friends like to hold one ever so often. Basically, we all bring our computers or consoles and hook them up to one big local network. Then we play games together as a group rather than just online. 13. What annoys you more than anything else? Bullies. Judmental people annoy me too. It's one thing to be discerning based on someone's actions but to judge a book by it's cover is just wrong. 14. What would be the perfect gift for you? A cameo in a Marvel comic! 15. What's the most beautiful thing you've ever seen? There's a game called Flower. It's not much in terms of the mechanics of a game but the aesthetics of the game are definitely one of the most beautiful things I've ever seen. Now imagine being able to go inside the game. Multiply that beauty by a thousand. 16. What time of day is your favorite? I've always been a night owl. 17. What kind of weather is your favorite? I love October weather. Not too hot and not too cold. 18. What is your favorite food? What is your least favorite food? I really enjoy some good German sausage. Don't like really care much for leafy foods. If I wanted grass I'd go eat dinner in the park. 19. What is your favorite drink? (Coffee, Coke, Juice, Beer, Wine, etc.) I'm a coffee junkie. Being an insomniac will do that to you. 20. What's your favorite animal? Why? I like kitties! I'm kind of obsessed with Hello Kitty. 21. Do you have any pets? Do you want any pets? What kind? I do have one kitty of my own. His name is name is Jake, from "The Cat from Outer Space" 22. What do you find most relaxing? (Not as in stress relief, but as something that actually calms you down.) Something about being transformed into nothing but electricity is very calming. I've told you about going into games but that in itself isn't always calming. What I enjoy is traveling along the power lines. It's very similar to how most enjoy walks on the beach. I'm able to escape there. 23. What habit that others have annoys you most? I don't like people that have to touch everyone they see. I just want to tell them, "Hey! You don't need to touch my back to tell me your story." Those are two different senses. I think it's mainly because I don't like people in my bubble. 24. What kind of things embarrass you? Why? Dirty jokes, racial slurs, or just any inappropriate behavior. Especially when I'm around people I don't know well. 25. What don't you like about yourself? I wish I had more confidence in myself. Even though I consider myself independent and have learned a lot through my experiences I still wonder if being labelled an outcast when I was a kid has affected my belief in myself. 26. How would you like to look? I'm actually quite happy with the way I look. I know I'm far from perfect but who is really? If I had to change one thing it'd be my height. I am a little short; completely dwarfed when I stand next to Marcus or Rox, actually. Sex & Intimacy Questions 1. Would you consider yourself straight, gay, bi, or something else? Why? I have to admit I've been a little bi-curious but nothing ever came of that. I prefer the embrace of a man. 2. Who was the first person you had sex with? When did it happen? What was it like? How well did it go? Remember that awkward first date I was talking about when I was a Sophmore? No! It didn't happen then, but I did have sex with that guy later when I was 16. It's not something I'm really proud of. 3. Have you ever had a same-sex experience? Who with, what was it like, and how did it go? Like I sad, I've thought about it but I've never been brave enough to try. I'm not really sure I want to anyway. I mean, that's just not the natural way of things, you know? I'll support those who want the freedom to do so but I haven't engaged in it myself. 4. What is your deepest, most well-hidden sexual fantasy? Would you ever try it? I've come really close to transporting myself into a scene from a porn movie. I haven't actually gone through with it though. 5. What was the wildest thing you've ever done, sexually? Who was it with and when did it happen? I really don't like talking about this. It makes me slightly uncomfortable. My wildest experience was with a guy a few years back. I was chatting to this guy in Italy and things got a little, uh, well they got heated. I decided that I was going to transport myself through the internet highway all the way to his house. It scared him a bit but, well, let's just say that was an incredible night! 6. Is there any sexual activity that you enjoy and/or practice regularly that can be considered non-standard? (Bondage, Fantasy Play, etc.) Why do you like it? Does having sex with a video game character or taking someone into a video game to have sex considered non-standard? Kidding. That was completely rhetorical. 7. Is there any sexual activity that you will not, under any circumstances, do? There's a lot of really kinky stuff out there that I won't do. I also would never have sex for money. 8. Do you currently have a lover? What is their name, and what is your relationship like? What are they like? Why are you attracted to them? Are you coming on to me? Ha! No, I am not seeing anyone at the moment. 9. What is the perfect romantic date? I've always wanted to go to Comic Con all dressed up. To have a partner that would buy me tickets and dress up with me would be amazing. 10. Describe the perfect romantic partner for you. I want someone who will embrace my quirkiness. I want a guy who will spend time with me, probably playing with me in our own private LAN party–if you know what I mean. 11. Do you ever want to get married and have children? When do you see this happening? That would be the long term plan, yes. 12. What is more important - sex or intimacy? Why? I'm a girl who needs to be pursued before sex. 13. What was your most recent relationship like? Who was it with? (Does not need to be sexual, merely romantic.) The last guy I had a relationship with was a jerk. He had no care of anyone but himself. I really don't know why I got tangled up in that. What's worse is I didn't even recognize it until Marcus pointed it out. 14. What's the worst thing you've done to someone you loved? Once during a nasty breakup I hacked into his records and really screwed him over. I fixed it later of course but I had basically deleted him from existence. Drug & Alcohol Questions 1. How old were you when you first got drunk? What was the experience like? In high school. My friends weren't the best influences and I went to a few of their parties when I couldn't come up with an excuse to stay away. Did anything good come out of it? Did anything bad come out of it? Nothing really came out of it all except a bad hangover. 2. Do you drink on any kind of regular basis? Not really, no. 3. What kind of alcohol do you prefer? I'm a simple girl, a beer is fine with me. Sometimes I'll drink a daquiri or other mixed drink. 4. Have you ever tried any other kind of "mood altering" substance? Which one(s)? What did you think of each? I've tried weed a couple times. 5. What do you think of drugs and alcohol? Are there any people should not do? Why or why not? Moderation is always the best practice. There are definitely people who should stay away though. Those people will probably have self control issues in all areas of their lives, though. Morality Questions 1. What one act in your past are you most ashamed of? What one act in your past are you most proud of? I'm ashamed that I've had premarital sex. That's not how I was raised and it was always my intentions to save myself until marriage. 2. Have you ever been in an argument before? Over what, with who, and who won? I tend to hide from fights. I curl up in my little shell, avoiding any yelling matches I can. 3. Have you ever been in a physical fight before? Over what, with who, and who won? I have but not nearly as many as the rest of the Extant Force. I usually stay at HQ. 4. What do you feel most strongly about? I feel that everyone has a voice and should stand up to those that persecute them. I'm a big proponent of bullies being put in their rightful place. 5. What do you pretend to feel strongly about, just to impress people? I really don't care about impressing others. I am who I am and there's no reason to worry about what others think. 6. What trait do you find most admirable, and how often do you find it? Self-sacrifice. The willingness to put others before your self. 7. Is there anything you think should not be incorporated into the media or art (sex, violence, greed, etc.,)? If so, what and why, and if not, why not? I support free speech. If something is going to influence a person that easily then there are more dangerous underlying problems behind such persuasion. 8. Do you have any feelings in general that you are disturbed by? What are they? Why do they disturb you? Knowing that I have such power is really hard to ignore sometimes. My ability to so easily hack into any database is very tempting to use to my advantage. I force myself not to because I don't want to become the person I hate. That kind of power is dangerous. 9. What is your religious view of things? What religion, if any, do you call your own? My parents were Christians. We always went to church when I was a kid but I usually slept through the sermons. Other than that there was little religion in the home. Daddy talked of God on occasions and we prayed before every meal. I would say that I believe in God. I don't know much of the bible, though. 10. Do you think the future is hopeful? Why? Without hope what do we have? 11. Is an ounce of prevention really worth a pound of cure? Which is more valuable? Why do you feel this way? What do I care? As long as it's solved is there really a need to discuss how? I mean, how are you going to really know whether prevention would've worked better if you took the cure and vice versa? 12. What's the worst thing that can be done to another person? Why? I would think that torture would be the absolute worse thing that could be done to you. 13. What's the worst thing you could actually do to someone you hated? Yeah, torture. 14. Are you a better leader or follower? Why do you think that? If you think the whole leader-follower archetype is silly, say so, and explain why? I consider myself more of an indpendent thinker. 15. What is your responsibility to the world, if any? Why do you think that? To teach people to be tolerant and respectful of others. Having been picked on I feel empathy for those that don't receive this. 16. Do you think redemption is possible? If so, can anyone be redeemed, or are there only certain circumstances that can be? If not, why do you think nothing can redeem itself? I think that anyone can change their heart if they want to. No one can make them, though. 17. Is it okay for you to cry? When was the last time you cried? Yes. Crying is release of your pain and sorrows. 18. What do you think is wrong with MOST people, overall? I think that the evils of this world are too tempting to ignore for a lot of people. Those without self control will do whatever it takes to make themselves feel good or to get power. Post-Supernatural Awareness Questions 1. When did you go through whatever made you supernatural? What was it like (in your opinion)? I discovered my powers when I was a kid. It was like a dream. I can't imagine what my parents must've though because I had a hard enough time believing it. 2. What do you think now of being supernatural? Is it cool, or have you been screwed? Oh, I wouldn't trade it for anything. I can do things most people only dream of. 3. Do you have a mentor? Who are they? How did you become their student? Not really. I learned how to do what I do from intuition and experimentation. 4. Do you have any magical items? Where did you get them? No. 5. What do you think of the other denizens of the World of Darkness? Why for each? (If you haven't met something, do you think it exists, and if it does, is that bad or good?) I think demons are very real and are out there trying to tempt each of us into our own destruction. 6. Think of a major event that happened during your training/initiation. What was it? I don't know what's more major than jumping into a video game unexpectedly. 7. What is something you had to learn during your training that you hated? Why did you hate it? I had to learn self control. It's so easy to go after the power so easily attained with my unique ability. What I really hated was having to leave the fantasy world of my games and return to the bitterness of high school. I wish I could've just stayed in my games for all eternity. Miscellaneous Questions 1. What is the thing that has frightened you most? Do you think there is anything out there that's scarier than that? What do you think that would be? Honestly, the thing I'm most scared of is losing my powers. They has been such a cornerstone of my life I don't know how I would operate with out them. Luckily nothing has threatened to take them away but it is an underlying fear that I have everyday. Who knows, I could wake up tomorrow and everything could just be gone. That is truly frightening. 2. Has anyone or anything you've ever cared about died? How did you feel about it? What happened? Yes, my brother died at a very early age and though I don't remember him it is heartbreaking. My mom also died soon after I was out of high school. It was difficult to accept her death. I was angry at God for taking her at such a young age. 3. What was the worst injury you've ever received? How did it happen? I've avoided most injuries. I have broken my collarbone and busted my ear drum before. Out of the two I'd rather break my collarbone again. Busting an ear drum is incredibly painful! 4. How ticklish are you? Where are you ticklish? About as much as most people are. Please don't try. 5. What is your current long term goal? Not sure really. I kind of live day to day, you know? 6. What is your current short term goal? I've been trying to design some sort of jet that can transport our team at supersonic speeds to anywhere in the world. Dr. Bionic does have his transportation system but it can be faulty at times. I'd rather a constant form of travel. As you can assume, though, this has been extremely difficult considering Roxstar's size and weight. 7. Do you have any bad habits? If so, what are they, and do you plan to get rid of them? I tend to hum a lot. I don't even realize I'm doing it until someone finally snaps at me. 8. If you were a mundane person, what would you do with your life? What occupation would you want, and how would you spend all your time? I would as most people do. Get a job, become a wife, raise a family. That's really much different from what I do now except that I don't have a man and can do extraordinary things with technology. 9. What time period do you wish you had lived in? Why? (Looking at this as an attempt to change history doesn't count.) What appeals to you about this era? What use would I have been with lesser technology, or none at all. If anything I would prefer to be in the future. I'm curious as to what new forms of electronics they will have discovered. 10. How private of a person are you? Why? I don't go about telling everyone my inner most secrets but with my friends I'm fairly open about who I am. 11. If you were to gain an obscenely large sum of money (via an inhertiance, a lawsuit, a lottery, or anything else) what would you do with it? No idea. I surely wouldn't need all of it. I don't have any debt and I like where I am in my life currently. I'd probably give some away to a worthy cause. I'd definitely keep at least half of it to invest in the newest and most advanced tech. 12. What would you wish for if you found a genie? To be fully omniscient. 13. What do you do when you are bored? I've tried playing video games but when I reach that level of boredom where nothing satisfies I like taking a long hot bath. 14. What is the most frightening potential handicap or disfigurement you can conceive of? What makes it so frightening? I would hate to lose my legs. I don't want to end up a paraplegic.

I've modified a lot of Rox's answers. Mostly to remove the third person talk he was using. Instead I've switched it up with a lot of missuses for me and my while still not using I. I've also, added Rush!'s answers.

I was a member of the "Faction" in 2011. I feel sorry for killing the parents of Rox. I swear, I just followed orders...

Sorry it's been a while. I've been rather busy at work and at home. Because it's been so long, I'm going to post what I've done so far with Dr. Bionic. This is still a work in progress and is taking much longer than the others because of his word usage...you'll see. My Thesaurus, or rather dicionary.com's Thesaurus, is in constant use when I'm answering the doc's questionnaire. This has been a challenging one! It's not done yet but I'll be posting updates as I get significant sections completed.
