Basho Force (RP / IC)

The Basho Force tries to restart. We lost a lot of members because of inactivity. Now I try to give the B-force new life.
What we need most at the moment are good RPers to fill the higher ranks (recruiting manager, mission manager)

At the beginning there were two SGs. The mysterious "Bort Agents" and the military like "Super Hero Ops" which fusionated to become the indipendent SG "Basho Force"

This is how the Basho Force did in the past. It was great fun and I would like to keep these RP-rules for the re-start of the SG.



-we are always IC (at least try to be)
-we are using everything the game offers to have a nice RP (hideouts, costume changes, emotes, fun devices like magnifier or shrinker ect.)
- no specified storyline / the story is made by the players spontaneously
- no RP battle (using PVP duel)
- mature players are requested
- human characters do have a secret identity (everyday life outfit costume slot)
- background stories of characters can change due to ordinary gameplay (I had this once changing an AT)

This is why the Basho Force is unique. Playing together is the highest priority:

We are not like other SGs where everyone levels by hisself and the only way to "play" with the other members is using SG-chat. This is sad!
When we log in we will meet promptly and decide what we are going to do next TOGETHER!

Bring 2 or 3 characters to the Basho Force (low level, mid level, high level) and there is always a way to play together without using the sidekick-function.

The Basho Force offers:
-a homepage with permanently updated pictures of our heroes in action (this one will be reactivated if reanimation is successful)
-a relationship-overview of all Basho Force members (some call it daily soap acting )
-the "anytime IC" experience (no OOC trash talking like: "lets meet in WOW later")
-mature players
-trustworthy friends
-no attendance enforcement (you don´t need to grind like stupid. Fun is more important than leveling!)
-epic moments in the world of Champions Online
-we are celebrating CO as a Superhero-simulation!

Meh...forget it.

I just saw we lost about 10 members the last week.
This SG is officially dead.

I would like to beg all of you RP-SGs out there.
Please be kind to former Basho Force members. They are good RPers, loyal buddies, trustworthy comrades and pretty good fighters.
If you see one of them searching for a new SG please admit them and welcome them. They are good people.

4 members are still active. I know some of them are watching this forums constantly.

So the lowest rank in the SG is now called "MIA"
Every toon which was not active for a year or more was moved to the lowest rank (MIA)

Compared to other SGs we are still pretty active. Maybe there will be a SG-event next weekend.
And: I don´t know how this happened but we are now a SG with a lot of lifetimers. Strange but kinda cool!

Let´s see what we can make out of it...

Just for your information:

Some members of the council decided to fire my supergroup leader. The RP story was cruel but I have to obey because the council beat me using my own RP rules.

My main character is no longer leader of the Basho Force. Also the council created a new name for the SG and all the high-class items in the bank where given to the new leaders.

I´m no longer in charge. Maybe I will retreat with my team and try to find a new SG or create a new one.

I´m not upset. It was a legal RP and I´m glad they didn´t kill me at all. Maybe my main was not the best leader but he was always loyal to the SG members.

This was a dark day in the history of the Basho Force.
