Fleeing the coming PWE Forum apocalypse...

Well hello all. Decided to make an account over here, since the forums at the official Champions Online site will soon be destroyed by PWE. I figure I may as well get my foot in the door here and get set up.

Over on the CO forums I was "Aariny". I'm still getting set up here so I don't have a custom avatar/signature etc. So bear with me as I figure a few things out.

But just to give a shout out to anyone who'd seen me before. And hoping some vestige of the CO community finds its way here after the coming board wipes.

(EDIT: OK - figured out the Avatar and signature stuff. Can anyone help me with putting a link in my Signature to my character pages on the CO site? On the CO boards I have a link under the quotes in my sig to the following page:

www.champions-online.com/character_profiles/user_characters/aariny

So that people can view my characters if they wish to.)

I just logged into my STO via my merged account credentials and it's using my OLD display name. Normally that wouldn't be a big deal as it's something I had used. However I had that name changed around a year ago for account security reasons so I'm not too thrilled it's back.

Welcome aboard. I had a feeling we would see an increase in activity around here soon with PWE dropping the bomb. I was there when the bomb first dropped. It was bad.

Oh and major heads up:
They removed the ability to view mail from the website. However, in this transition, they nuked all my mail entirely. My in game inbox is empty. I used my mail as storage for extra officers. All those officers are now gone. I'm listing them as Killed in Action during the great PWE forum battle. So for those of you who use your mail as item storage, don't be like me...save your items and start emptying out your in boxes. Like now. The bomb is coming for you too...

Edit: Oh and I also lost my user name over there. So I'm now "lan451" on the STO side. Yay...
