Okay, since I've spent so much time trashing Cryptic's NotJedi, here's what I would have done (and ya, I know it breaks tier rules in a couple places, but that's only because there is no laser sword energy builder) NotJedi/NotSith Role: Brawler 1 Righteous Fists (I'd really prefer a laser sword eb) 1 Laser Sword 6 Super Dexterity 6 Thunderbolt Lunge 8 Quarry 11 Lightning Arc or Empathic Healing 13 Super Intelligence 14 Parry 17 Telekinesis 22 Form of the Tempest 27 Ego Choke or Telekinetic Wave 32 Force Eruption 40 Force Geyser I picked Quarry for the passive because it's the best offensive jack-of-all trades passive. It also makes DEX/INT really attractive, as does the high cost of Laser Sword. DEX/INT also leaves the primary defense slot open for either dodge gear or CON gear giving players some flexibility in how they want their toon to work. As a DEX based melee toon, Form of the Tempest becomes a really good choice for a damage toggle. Parry also has good synergy with DEX if you take the Elusive Monk advantage. Once you get past laser sword, the toon is all kinds of themed utility stuff. The two power choices are aimed at letting it lean dark side or light side (although again, it's totally notjedi / notsith). The best thing about the toon is flexibility. You can slot dodge gear, take elusive monk, take the Quarry advantage, and sacrifice damage for okay defense. Or, you can say screw monk, go R3 Quarry, slot stat gear, and push your damage output and hope you have enough CON to survive. You have some ability to juggle control, espec if you go dark and can throw ego choke in between force geysers. TK Wave is a fun power for not only knockback, but really messing with your opponents energy. Telekinesis is all about theme. No fracking way. No way in hell. I saw Laser Sword and knew where you were going with this, went to hit reply with a No, thought better to finish reading your post first, then I came back for the hell no. No way. This makes every other AT fall by the wayside. If they were all built this well, fine, but they're not, and this would abuse every other AT. You're concept is really good, but you made a Jedi Master, not a Knight. I gave my impression on the main boards where I said this: Honestly I think people are underestimating this AT, it has potential. The only real issue I see with it is the Dex/Rec thing for 2 main reasons: 1) Rec is useless as a superstat without End, unless you just get the 80 points and then ignore it with gear which 2) causes your SS average to sharply drop which impacts your damage. So it really just depends on how sharply it impacts your damage, but between FotT, unstop, intensity, root on Harvest, and DW I think it'll be ok. Not great, but ok. Oh, come on. This is nowhere near as brutal as my Master, and Cryptic actually went with that even using the the name I came up with. Well, they didn't give it The Glow (IDF) even though I tried to convince them that an AT based on Barry Gordy's The Last Dragon would be total awesomesauce. It also doesn't have the DPS of The Scourge/Cursed. Heck, I'd bet it doesn't have the DPS of a well geared Tempest. And Soldiers...well, if the NotJedi goes for damage rather than dodge, it's likely dead in one sniper round, and if it does go dodge, assault rifle will rip it to bitty bits. Where this AT would excel is taking down Behemoths, Glaciers, and the whole pile of truly awful AT's. It's prolly at the top of the second tier of DPS AT's, but with options for buffing its survival. Plus, you cannot deny just how well this thing would sell as all those silvers looked to get to play NotDarthVader and NotObiWan. ;D

OK, my experiences with an Unleashed.
I tested in the PTS powerhouse danger room on hard 5 man settings using Debugger gear (all whites).
Disclaimer: I know that such tests are not the same as open world play, but since I test all of my builds in this fashion I feel that I have a decent sense of how a build will handle live play based on how it handles such a test.
Opinions and observations :
1) I missed having a lunge.
2) I really missed having a lunge
3) I found that force snap with the AoE KD advantage was a viable alternative to a lunge if I had acrobatics ranked up (but I still missed my lunge).
4) I found that BCR R3 was a functional self heal in conjunction with EotS but that I wouldnt want to rely on it without that extra defense.
5) I was able to get a 28% crit chance with 61% severity out of white debugger gear while getting my SS damage bonuses up to 30% (dex) & 28% (rec). Again, this was with white gear.
6) I found that the build cleared trash mobs quickly with EotS and/or Blade Tempest.
7) I found that Dragon's Wrath and/or Storm's Harvest cleared tougher opponents very quickly.
8) I found that combining Force Snap with Entropic Collapse + the Sheath advantage on Force Shield + The basic mitigation of unstoppable (as small as it might be on its own) + EotS + BCR made for decent survivability while being able to deal respectable damage.
9) I found that I tend to agree that REC is a questionable SS for this build. It doesnt need the equilibrium nor the enhanced energy gain.

Hmm, interesting. Yes I agree I do miss lunge as well T_T. And, while I am only lv 8, yeah, the rec does seem questionable, but if it had ego than the at would be a lot better to basically too good with great crits and knock back abound.

For me Rec comes down to this.
When a Force or Elec toon, who are both ridiculously energy hungry, are both not only viable but in fact better off not taking Rec, there is a problem with Rec.
When anything Rec can do Int can do better while reducing cooldown and increasing perception, there is a problem with Rec.
When I can stat for Rec as a tertiary or possibly not at all stat, and it only takes like 4 hits to get back to max with SS End (300), there is a problem with Rec.
When I can fire off 1 charge Cascade and 4 taps on a single max charge of energy, there is a problem with Rec.
For a melee toon who has a Form, Force Sheath, and Rush synergy, there is a problem with Rec.
When I can build a toon without having to worry about Rec in anyway, there is no problem with Rec, until I am forced to take it as a SS on a melee character with all the above points and synergies, there is a problem with Rec.
