Yeah woops, looks like a miscommunication on my part. You can't solo ENDGAME content. Where is this end game content?! 3 40s and I still have yet to see it! But on a serious note - I disagree with some of what Mal said. Currently lvl 30 (soon to be 40), I have basically roomsweeper or demolish for dealing dmg. I find adding r2 + below debuff to be well worth it when I dont want to be chasing after my loot if the mobs aren't killed by the roomsweeper hit alone (as say finished off by the fall dmg). I wouldn't suggest bull run - there's no reason that leap shouldn't have nailed in it leaving just 3 points, and having CC will help make debuffing a primary heavy hitting target in pve (or disabling a block while nailing to ground in pvp) much easier. Note - even if you do have a healer, you still need to block, just less often - and dependent on enemies. I get energy much faster blocking a hit or two than bothering with my energy builder. Very true, in fact I found demolish R2 to be quite the damage dealer. However, when u get to level 32, you get a choice of two high damaging powers, and I felt it's better to spend the advantage points on either of them, as they have the potential to do higher damage, while demolish helps set you up for another attack. Bull rush can be useful if you want to target a single mob or person in PvP, although overall I'd agree and say CC is a better overall choice Thanks for the feedback, and I hope you found the guide helpful:D

Not a suggestion really, but I find the lack of a root to be quite a pain in pvp.

Hi, you should change shockwave's advantage, it is calle challeging strikes, not crippling challenge. Oops! Thanks, just noticed. Sorry to anyone who got confused; I'll just explain the difference: Crippling challenge: break through blocks and lowers damage. Also, in PvE, forces your target to attack you. Challenging Strikes: Lowers damage and, in PvE, generates threat (makes the enemy more likely to attack you.

What pleasant surprise with the addition of the Spec Tree. I was just about to rebuild my Behemoth. Thanks!
Cool about the SpecTree suggestions, but how in the world did you get CON set up? You need 5 pts before you bump to the next level. I have to put 2 points in Unyielding to set up the next level and I cannot, undo to set a point in Adrenaline Rush. (I tried right-clicking). I dumped Adrenaline Rush only because I can't get the 5th point from Unyielding.

Ty for pointing out my mistake - just rechecked my behemoth - turns out i did the exact same as u, just typed it up wrong. modified now.

Any room for getting Teleport to R2 or R3 in this build?

Any room for getting Teleport to R2 or R3 in this build? yup, this build has a couple of spare points. But unless ur set on ranking teleport, i'd recommend R2 on Demolish.

There are several sources of self healing going on there now (Quick Healing, Adrenaline Rush, Endorphin Rush, Resolute) but I'd still advise packing a heal device, Amazing Grace, Nimbus of Force and Self Rezz if you can get them. Comments: Put Challenging Strikes on Roomsweeper but swap them out when you get shockwave and put them on that instead. Be wary of using KnockBack powers in team/group/open missions as everyone will end up having to chase the villain down, knockup will work out better here. This is especially important in Smash Alerts, particularly Nemesis ones as the Nemesis won't have knock resistance.

Hello, is Uppercut the Behemoth's primary attack at level 40? Does this AT still uses Roomsweeper much at max level? Or is Shockwave a better AoE than Roomsweeper (even without the stat scaling) just as Avalanche felt better than Snowstorm (damage + threat for Glacier)?
I'm currently leveling up a Behemoth and plan to leave Roomsweeper ranks at the top of the leveling progression for easier retcon. But if this power is still consistently useful at max level, I won't bother retconning it out every time I level up anymore. Any thoughts on this? I'm asking because I once put 4 points into my soldier's shotgun but find myself rarely using that power so felt they could have been better used elsewhere.
Also, the description for Defensive Combo says the Behemoth gain 1 stack of Defiance on every 3rd hit. I took on the regenerating dummy in PH using primarily defensive combo but my toon's defiance was not getting additional stack, a few months ago when I tried out the Behemoth and choose the advantage for DC, the toon does seem to gain defiance on every third hit, but I haven't tested the latter scenario in the PH recently. Anybody have similar experience with this AT or the power combination?

I do not have a level 40 behemoth to test with but following the recent dodge/crit changes this build should still work but I'd look at changing the gearing. Keep the Heroic Gloves of Precision & Gambler's Lucky Gem (you should have enough dex and crit from this to make it worthwhile, especially for adrenaline ruch spec) keep Heroic Helmet of Speed & Impact Prism (as before). But I'd try changing the dodge/avoid breastplate to a Heroic Breastplate of Defense & Impact Prism

Hello, is this guide still relevant? Tammy seems to have disappeared, and her thread -- or anywhere else for that matter -- doesn't seem to have a Behemoth guide.

Hi Bodhi, hi guys. My Behemoth is still frequently played, 2nd only to my Freeform. I happened to have a huge bout of readjusting with her, due to the Dodge Nerf and Rampage as of the last few months, here is what I believe. Supercollide's build remains relevant, EXCEPT for a few things that deal with dodging and self-healing (please notice the crossed-out things below): Specializations:Constitution: Unyielding (2/2)Constitution: Tough (3/3)Constitution: Quick Healing (3/3) replaced with Armored Constitution: Adrenaline Rush (2/2) replaced with Resilient Protector: Fortified Gear (3/3)Protector: Bulwark (2/2)Protector: Exhausting Strikes (2/2) (editted, please see below) Protector: Resolute (3/3) replaced with Defensive Expertise Warden: Fortified Gear (3/3)Warden: Ruthless (2/2)Warden: Tenacious (2/2)Warden: The Best Defense (3/3)Mastery: Protector Mastery (1/1)(Edit - I made a typo before. I meant replace Resolute with Defensive Expertise, not Exhausting Strikes.) GEARING Heroic Gloves of Precision & Gambler's Lucky Gem Heroic Breastplate of Agility & Gambler's Lucky Gem Defense & Impact Prism, as suggested by Supercollide previously Heroic Helmet of Speed & Impact Prism Reasons: It's about straight-up Defense. IMHO, the Behemoth works best as a blunt instrument. She's a brick you throw at enemies. Specializations (Quick Healing, Adrenaline Rush, Resolute) are meant to provide some self-healing, often considered the biggest gap in their design as Freeform Tanks usually have self-heals. The Behemoth, with Enrage + Endorphin Rush from the traditional Powers list, you actually already get some self-healing already. I've noticed the Specializations' healing in comparison is very small, thus not worth it. For the same points, you can put it into extra defense based on your gear, and since gear is getting more and more powerful, it overshadows the incremental healing, partly due to sheer damage resistance, but also due to the huge Hit Points pool you should have with a high Constitution (with Mods). As for gear, further enhance defense with the Breastplate of Defense now and an Impact Prism on it for more Defense. Any mission, Alerts, PvP, that seems to hold true. I'm still trying to figure out how to tank Frosticus effectively. In short, after testing, "prevention is the best form of medicine". If you Defend more, you need to heal a lot less. --- The Powers and Advantages choices Supercollide made still hold up really well, even at level 40, for all situations. I personally went with Haymaker (instead of Uppercut) at Rank 2 with Nullifying Punch, partly for PvP and just more dmg.

Heya not1stepbackwards,
I'll turn this into a formal update of the build later but I've got a quick clarification about the Protector Spec Choices.
Fortified Gear & Bulwark are still in there but you indicate swapping Exhausting Strikes for Defensive Expertise and you also cross out Resolute. Did you just miss a line and mean keeping Exhausting Strikes and swapping Defensive Expertise for the now redundant Resolute? or are there some more spec points to play with? If so I'd guess Debilitating Challenge would be a good fit.

Thanks for looking at my feedback. I might have messed up my formatting, I'll go back and check when I'm in-game.
-----
Edit - sorry for the long turnaround time, I plum forgot to add to this. I'll just jot down my Specialisation Tee here:
Constitution: Unyielding (2/2) Constitution: Tough (3/3) Constitution: Resilient (2/2) Constitution: Armored (2/2) Constitution: Fast Healing (1/1) Protector: Fortified Gear (3/3) Protector: Bulwark (2/2) Protector: Exhausting Strikes (2/2) Protector: Defensive Expertise (3/3) Warden: Fortified Gear (3/3) Warden: Elusive (2/2) Warden: Tenacious (2/2) Warden: The Best Defense (3/3) Mastery: Protector Mastery (1/1)
Brief comments in brief - I did make a typo in my previous post (which I'll fix). I crossed out the right thing, just put the swapping out in the wrong line. This post is what I meant. Sorry for no formatting.
