This is one of the things that annoy me about Cryptic not letting mere Silver players interact with them on their forums.
I'm trying to order some Atari points from the C-Store; I've used points before in Star Trek Online without a problem. Anyway, I was told the payment was declined.
Naturally, my first reaction is cold fear -- I check my account online while calling my bank at the same time (panic mode, ya know), and they say that everything is in order.
Then I notice something really odd. Cryptic has charged me. Three times. There are three separate one-dollar charges. I ask the woman on the phone who tells me that yes, that is very odd, and tells me that they are listed as "purchase authorization" charges, but there should not be three. Nor have any of them been refunded.
Is this normal? I just wanted to by an archtype and a costume, but now I'm preparing to reverse $3 in goofball charges. Should I submit a ticket or just give it a few hours?

I'd wait until the traditional business opening hours on the west coast to call them again about it. After that if the problem hasn't been solved then I'd call my banking establishment and have the charges reversed.
Cryptic's billing department is notorious for errors like this.

Thanks. I submitted a ticket with all the details, will give them a call and see what the deal is if they don't reply to it in a reasonable amount of time.
