Who We Are...Perhaps It's Who You Are As WellThe Other Side represents many things, including: - the other side of the conventional, for our exotic characters - the other side of the world, like our players in Asia and Australia Perhaps your character is a pariah in the Champions Online universe. Perhaps you're not in a timezone with most American or European players. Perhaps you listened to everyone's advice to "always go your own way" and found that path awful lonely. We too took the road less traveled by... fire walk with us!When You're Ready to Break On Through to the Other SidePM me via the forum or in game. Can you let me know why a bunch of possible "go your own way" anti-heroes would bother banding up like this?
Otherwise, neat concept. I may have a concept or two for it.

Can you let me know why a bunch of possible "go your own way" anti-heroes would bother banding up like this? A bunch of lone wolves running as a pack seems a bit of a paradox, doesn't it? I've 2 takes on this from a practical perspective: 1. Protecting Themselves from the WorldAberrant anti-heroes (or even anti-villains) figure out at some point that, sooner or later, it'll be them vs. everyone just due to what they are. They'll go to someone like themselves for help because, despite them all being misfits, those are the only ones that would assist them because they know, one day, they too will be in the same situation. Example - Rorschach tells a little joke about it in Watchmen. You don't need to be familiar with this or any comic to appreciate the humour. 2. Protecting the World from ThemselvesIf these character types fear anything, it's probably themselves. The problem with crossing "the line" is that pretty soon you can no longer see how far past it you've gone. That's why they're loners, and at the point where they are no longer able to stop themselves, they will need someone who can, preferrably someone who understands. Example - This scene with Tom Hanks and Paul Neuman, traditionally "nice guy" types. Again, you don't need to know the movie, the actors carry the scene. It's not an even question, but I'm glad for this opportunity as it lets me spotlight one of our members. He kinda captures both these reasons:

I like your comix done with ingame graphix. Really cool! Thanks, but it's only because a SG's value comes from its members and their ideas. You probably feel the same way because I appreciate how you lead Basho Force yourself. Black Shuriken here is a good example, he really brought the idea of Become Devices (in this case, Blade Archetype + Become Red Demon Device) to us. His story is much greater than this one-page origins, but both of us really liked this finaly result. To this date, even after I made comics for my own characters, this Black Shuriken origin comic is my personal favourite. Which makes me both happy and sad.

Do you have members from Europe? I ask because I´m in the same timezone and my old SG is spreading all over the CO world...

May I join with one of my toons? I don´t know if I would fit with your SG but I would like to test. What level would you recommend? (Still have no lvl. 40 but close to ) Do you have SG events?

May I join with one of my toons? I don´t know if I would fit with your SG but I would like to test. What level would you recommend? (Still have no lvl. 40 but close to ) Do you have SG events? Thank you for your interest, of course we welcome you to the Other Side. We have no level recommendation, but thank you for asking. If anything, we are a refuge for characters that don't have a place. Just to set expectations, though, we have many absent friends. Many empty chairs at the other side's table. Probably all went to Guild Wars 2. I think we could reposition ourselves as a place for City of Villains players. Due to the low server/SG population, we don't hold regular events anymore, but ideas are welcome. Please let us know your character name for the invite. Alternatively, I just sent you friend list invites. One of them is from Charon, whom you already met in the Town Hall a few weeks back.
