Copied this form an official forum post I made, it's the distilled version of a few posts I've already made here.
I use the AH quite a bit to fund buying Become Devices and Costume Unlocks, here's what I tend to use as a guide, it's rare I get anything back unsold.
Whites - sell to vendor
Yellow - only worth a little over vendor buying/list price - sell to a vendor unless it's got something really cool like health-on-kill on it in which case can a friend/SG vault use it?
Green - worth 2x vendor buying/list price - sell in the AH if that would be 1G or more otherwise Friend/SG or sell to vendor.
Blue - 'Normal' blues are well worth putting into the AH at 3 to 4 times the vendor buying/list price. BUT Blue items earned on Adventure packs or Comic Series on Harder difficulties scale and are worth MUCH more and I'll come back to these.
Purple - rarely sell these of these in the AH (usually been Bind On Pickup) but I'd be looking at 5 to 8 times vendor purchase price but I'd search against similar items for comparison first.
Very Hard or Elite Blue drops - I've only ever sold these at lvl40 so can't advise on price scaling for lower lvl items.
I price level 40 Elite Blues for 20-60G for lvl 40 secondaries (+36 total stat bonus) and 60-100G for lvl 40 primaries (+97 total stat bonus iirc) they tend to sell and sell quick.
the less 'spread' of the stats this higher the price:
spread over 4 stats lowest price (20GSecondary/60G Primary - maybe less if 'unlikely' stat combination)
spread over 3 stats about 10G higher that lowest price (30GSecondary/70G Primary - maybe less if 'unlikely' stat combination, more if highly likely)
spread over 2 stats (40GSecondary/80G Primary and upwards - more if highly likely stat combination)
Purely one stat (compare other similar items - a lvl40 elite blue all CON primary would be a 200G minimum for me )
Anything with CON on tends to go faster (as can DEX) and for more cash as does any 'perfect match' stats like STR&CON, DEX&EGO. If you want to be greedier I'd do a quick search of what's similar (search same lvl, upgrade slot, blue quality and look at highest first) and price under what's closest to yours. Anything named 'legendary' tends to sell faster, it's almost like people are searching using that word
I actually tend to hold on to Elite Blue drops for a while for SG event prizes, or if a friend is looking for something specific. I have at least one full bank slot dedicated to these and if the hideouts are getting account based bank slots I'll be using that mostly for these.
Costume Unlocks - any costume unlock especially from Vibora Bay will be worth a bit - best search and price accordingly but 100G or thereabouts sells.
lvl40 Blood Moon Devices are usually good for 150-200G and upwards, check prices before posting up.
Always remember that generally anything you see in the AH is UNSOLD and therefore best used as a guide for your upper selling price, undercut to increase your chances it will sell and be realistic in your price.
I also refuse to sell anything for more than 250G in the AH as this excludes Silvers (who have a 250G limit), but since I don't have a dark speed yet, let alone a spare one that's not an issue!
Also be aware that external forces will affect AH prices, Blood Moon for example generally sees increased AH 'traffic' that throws prices off a bit, last BM I got a couple of normal blue items returned unsold yet the time before I sold all 15 items in about one day of posting. Stuff happens.
