thanks OniGanon, i took a look at your fire-healing builds. i guess im looking for more of a pure healing class. just took the 2 dps abilities i thought would be best. im looking to change as little as possible really. From Radiance at level 1 to Ascension at 32 i simply went with what i thought would be the best for healing. im just affraid with my lack of knowledge of the framework synergies, and pulling from so many areas, lead me to some bad combinations.

There is no pure healing in this game, use big heals for tanks, and bubs/conduit (or anything else thats quick) for squishies, oni's oldskool variation is very nice if you switch a bit (ebon sigs for firesnake for example)
sanctum@vsaga (?) has a pretty nice ''''pure'' healer spec if thats what your looking for

This isn't the kind of game where a healer has to save their energy and spend 24/7 doing nothing but healing. People aren't always taking damage, and the best buffs and debuffs are passive or long duration. A healer who cannot do damage spends roughly half their time being deadweight.
Moreover, much of the team content that makes best use of a healer will come in the later levels, from lv27-40. As such, it's better to get your offense early and get your healer stuff in the 20s.
Here's a modified version of my build, with a greater focus on healing. This is a levelling build, so if you want a high level retcon build, let me know.
Superstats: Level 6: Super Constitution Level 13: Super Presence Stack Int to 150+, use Rec on the Primary Offense
Powers: Level 1: Throw Fire Level 1: Fireball -- Unstable Accelerant Level 6: Thermal Reverberation Level 6: Fire Flight -- Rank 2 Level 8: Conflagration -- Rank 2, Rank 3 Level 11: Immolation Level 14: Flashfire Level 17: Aura Of Radiant Protection -- Rank 2, Rank 3 Level 20: Protection Field -- Rank 2, Rank 3 Level 23: Empathic Healing -- Rank 2, Rank 3 Level 26: Mindful Reinforcement -- Revitalizing Boost, Rank 2 Level 29: Inertial Dampening Field Level 32: Force Shield -- Force Sheath, Rank 2, Rank 3 Level 35: Sigils Of Ebon Weakness -- Rank 2, Rank 3 Level 35: Teleport Level 38: Redemption -- Salvation, Rank 2
Talents: Level 1: Divinity Level 6: Shrug It Off Level 9: Healthy Mind Level 12: Diplomatic Level 15: Quick Recovery Level 18: Lasting Impression Level 21: Negotiator
SS Con to offset the Sentinel HP penalty, and because SSing Con is the easiest way to have a decent Con score when you've got SS Pre.
Immolation is there mostly to provide early access to Flashfire, and to break you out of Holds, which are the most dangerous thing for this build along with knockbacks (which can be taken care of by using a hovering travel power).
You need Flashfire to run Conflagration worth a damn, because maintained aoes tend to be total energy hogs. This is pretty much necessary to use Guardian at all, and in Sentinel is enough to completely eliminate any worries over energy.
Some people swear by aggro dumps and active defenses. Personally I'm not one of them. In my experience, as long as you're not Held (and you have Immolation to take care of that), you can simply Block until a teammate peels the enemies off you. Between AoRP, IDF, Ebon Sigils and a Rank 3 Block, you're tougher than some tanks. Force Shield can be swapped for R3 Ebon Void + adv if you feel you don't need Force Sheathe's energy and want to be a bit tougher.
On the healing side, you have double bubbles and the energy to use them, as well as Empathic Healing and a res. You shouldn't really need more than that.

I'd switch around Immolation with either emp or conduit to have some early healing.

thanks for all the help this far guys! guess im still trying to wrap my head around this lol. (i'm a former WoW Priest) I'll try and look for sanctum@vsaga but it seems like i might just be "dead weight" half the time as i mentioned, i think i might be coming into this DSP with support abilities type which makes your builds a little more appealing. as the toon in question is level 40 i am interested to see your high level retcon take on this as well. ya know, when you have the time
