ok ok ok, So i havent played the game for about 3 years and ive logged on recently and my level 15 character was missing. Now my sub has expired and i dont continue have the game installed... But is my hero gone for good?
I was told all those years ago that characters didnt get deleted. Id really love to play this game again but there'd be no point if i have to start from scratch.
Thanks, JR.

The game (Champions Online) has only been out for less than 1 and a half years. Are you sure that you have logged into the right game ?

Well, i might be mistaken about how long its been since i played it(seemed like a lot longer). But yeah im 100% positive it was Champions. My hero was featured on the sites 'Rate My Hero' feature. Heres a screenshot just so you know im not having you on:

could it be, that you've been in beta? beta characters got deleted after the game went retail.

Very sorry your character is gone now but it is very easy and fun to get a new character back to level 15 in just a day or two if you have the time. You can remake Dingoman.

Nay, i wasnt in Beta as i bought the game at retail and played it a week later(as the game cards werent released when the game was). So this has nothing to do with the fact that my subscription has expired? Yeah...but it wont be the same. Plus i was looking for some nostalgia

Hai guys, well i contacted Atari support twice and they were useless. They told me to check the differences between silver and gold(which should have nothing to do with it, imho).
I wish i could post on the forums but i cant. What a stupid setup that site is, im running out of patience.

That said, I would recommend starting a new character TBH. The early missions have been changed, so even if you get your character restored your likely be somewhere you shouldnt. To explain, originally you went to the desert or canada after completing the tutorial, but now you stay in millennium city. Its a very different experience than it used to be, and worth starting fresh IMO.

Thanks a heap dude, ill keep an eye on the thread.

Character names are not exclusive. There can be as many Dingomen as there are players desiring to create tehm.
