I'd like to see a plant power set that focuses on status effects like stuns, roots, snares, bleeds, paralyze, etc. while also offering moderately high damage. One example of a plant power would be an AOE maintain that causes thorny vines to come up from the ground and attack while also rooting enemies. Another power would be a summon, 2 or 3 spore plants that release spores into in area and each type of spore could have different status effects (each type of spore could be on a little menu like the munition bot commands.). The spores should also cause damage when they are released (maybe low damage?). Now, what kind of Power Set would you like to see in the game?

Would enjoy seeing a plant power tree (pun intended). I have a male and female plant toon waiting at level 6 as I try and figure out what powers to give them.
Would also like to see a true pet class. Sort of like the Mastermind AT from CoH. Currently only Freeforms can do the pet thing and it is hard to make them look like they all belong together.

Moreso than new sets, I'd like to see plenty of powers added that are meant for status effects or debuffs more than damage. I have a shaman concept character that I really want to see use snowstorm to blind and slow enemies, but the power is stuck in damage mode.
I would like to see an equivalent of CoX's Storm Summoning set though....I know that there are a few weather powers in now but to see loads would be really cool.

The one thing I'd most want to see is a sonic power set. That would allow for the game to include certain existing characters such as Howler, Warcry, and Blue Screamer. There's already a Sonic damage type, so the rest should be relatively easy.
My second priority would be light-based powers: casting light in darkness, invisibility, blinding flashes, cutting lasers, and all that sort of thing.

Considering they already have specialty costume sets to match them (Swamp King and Geo-Armor, respectively), it seems obvious that a Plant powerset and an Earth powerset are just waiting to happen.
Edited for typo - though I'm now curious just what a Pant powerset would involve - fighting with animated laundry?

Yeah, a Pant powerset would be awesome when fighting Foxbat.

There are a ton of sets I'd like to see but the main thing I'd like to see are crowd controls that are more worth it for the PvE game (this would require a look at how crowd control functions in PvP so I'm not holding my breath on this).
Charging moves for longer than their stun duration makes me sad. That's not a good investment of time. Let alone having stuns that are so short you can't follow them up with anything meaningful except a handful of powers that are above the baseline...
