I get that they're not using Dex to keep the ATs powerlevel down (although I find choosing a superstat with the primary intention of nerfing the AT very questionable). But they could have used Con or Int, imo both better choices than Rec. Rec seems to have been chosen to explicitly make stacking Dex as difficult as possible (due to sharing gear slots), and I don't think I like that much. That's what I was thinking as well.

Well you dont really need much dex, since ego weaponry gains 5% dex chance per ego leech stack and with mental disciple you gain an overall 10% extra crit chance per ego leech stack in addition to what crit bonus ego provides is enough for the AT.
Really didnt need Int because of the inherent power discount with each EL stack providing a 5% discount and your passive providing a 20% discount(scales with SS) those diminishing numbers start hitting hard. INT in this set really only lets you alpha with bigger moves and helps stealth sight and bascally none existant cool downs.
The two SS chosen for this AT are what its energy unlock scales from which likely influenced the choice.
My only problem with the build is that it they should let you chose between EBB and TK burst. that way you can have wont have to consider picking TK maelstrom.
I went Ego/Int i barely have any dex but i crit often enough, more so with stacks of EL up. But this is the first build ive played where it felt like int wasnt doing anything.
