I didn't see anything on the Gold boards, so wanted to ask here. Is there a policy about multiple accounts? My wife is probably going to want to play, so that would eat up the second character slot, so if I open an account for her will that be a violation? What about me getting a second account for alts? Basically any info will be appreciated. Thanks!

There is no problem with this. Make as many as you like.

The are no limits on silver accounts. Currently I have 2 accounts already.

In fact, multiple Silver accounts lets you overcome a rather nasty limitation imposed on Silver members, which is the 250G restriction. With multiple, you can transfer the Globals over to your secondary accounts, and thus accumulate enough so that if you need to do a full retcon, you don't have to purchase it from the C-Store.

LOL, was the 1st thing I thought when I saw how much they were asking for 2 more character slots in the C-store. Ahem, it is a F-R-E-E game with (2) free slots per email address and email address are free, so technically unlimited character slots. They should definitely decrease the cost of more slots and not have them be one of the most expensive items on the C-store.

Slots used to be 4 for 1200 points. >_>
However, the downside with more than one account is that your unlocks are not shared across accounts.

Yeah, it's a far better idea to have 1 account, as once you start accumulating costume pieces to use on your characters and nemeses, you'll want them to be on the same account.

Funny when they try and charge so much for something that is not even real. It is just a computer script added to your account. How much can that really cost. If they would seriously drop the price they could double or triple their moeny.
It's like the infomercials that always charge less than $20 for items (but wait, there's more) and they get a butt load of orders but they actually have to manufacture their items. The items we are purchasing here are only virtual and are bascially free to the company after the initial creation of the script.
Sell for less and get more orders. Still a chance to become a millionaire.
I think once they see that they are not getting many orders they will drop prices. I am waiting for dollar to points being equal. Right now you don't even get 1 credit per dollar.

I am waiting for dollar to points being equal. Right now you don't even get 1 credit per dollar. I don't understand what you mean by this because I don't know what it is that you're calling a credit. Currently 1 dollar is 80 points. I'd assume you mean you want $1 = 100 points, but I'd rather not assume anything given the option.

The reason it's 80 points to a dollar is because that synchronizes with Microsoft's XBox 360 point system, which the game was originally planned to launch on in addition to the PC. Although the 360 port was canned, they felt the point system didn't need to be changed.

And the overarching reason behind even the 360 points is that nobody wants their users associating points with real cost, so when you see a number like 730 you're not thinking "hey, that's $8.15"
They want people as far removed from real cost values as possible so they have an easier time reconciling themselves with a purchase.
It's been proven that people have an easier time letting go of five $1 bills than one $5 bill, we have poor cost association, so when we buy "thousands of points" and something costs a "mere hundred" that in no way reflect actual $ values its easier to lose track and buy more crap.
But go buy more crap, we're counting on you! ;D
