This article made me extremely interested in the game. A game where you can team up, online, and do dungeons, and also play alone in a story-driven campaign, all of this staged in a D&D universe? I'm game!

While I'm sure the product itself is fine, I'm not really interested out of the gate. I shall explain below my reasoning: I was a huge fan of Never Winter Nights when it came out initially. The main attraction was due to the fact that besides solo and co-op game play - NWN offered a never seen option at the time which was Dungeon Master Client. Allowing one person to take the role of the Dungeon Master or Game Judge and introduce their own encounters with various in game monsters and villains. In essence bringing the old pen and paper style of play out of the basement or game room and onto the computer. And finally call me old fashioned, but I dislike the 4th Edition rules that the game mechanics are based on. I'm very old school and still occasionally play AD&D 2nd Edition. I realize that making the newer game more like an MMO does bring something to the table. But to me it's akin to changing the formula of Coca-Cola. But in all fairness, if enough of my fellow forum members post glowing reviews.. Then like a child enticed to push the big red button, I'll have to give it a shot. Cheers!
