I was taking a look at this thread on the official forums: forums.champions-online.com/showthread.php?t=81117And decided that I'd also like the block (the Shift key) to be on toggle, so I used the following command as provided by the above faq: However, I didn't realise that once toggled, I can't get out of of block mode unless I manually click the button again with my mouse or use a non energy-building power. It's actually kinda frustrating, to say the least . Do you guys know how to reverse the process, or the appropriate binding to turn the block into a true toggle that I can turn on and off just by tapping the shift key? Thanks!

Thinks you may wish to try:
If you have created a binds txt file. Open that and delete the bind.
Try using /unbind
OR
Hit Esc -> Options -> Keybinds and choose shift as hte bind for block again which should make it work normally once more (or hit reset to default there, which again should reset shift).

Thanks for the help, but the latter suggestion doesn't work - I think it's because block is already assigned to the left Shift button. Setting Block to be the Shift button doesn't change the messed-up toggle nature of it . How does the '/unbind' command work? I'm really noob at this - I don't know what you mean by a txt file for commands - all I did was type in the command I posted at the top of this thread into the chat.

Sorry to bump this, but this kinda fell to page 2, and the problem is still plaguing me . I would really appreciate help from someone who's savvy with this sort of stuff - thanks!

I'm still not at home so I can't test it, but it should work like this: Go to your champions online directory and look for a folder named "Live". This folder contains all the data the game needs. The command /bind_save_file <name of file> saves the binds as text files (.txt) there and /bind_load_file <name of file> loads the binds files from there.
Once you found this folder, create 2 .txt files there: blockOn.txt SHIFT "PowerTrayExec 1 16 $$ bind_load_file blockOff.txt" blockOff.txt SHIFT "PowerTrayExec 0 16 $$ bind_load_file blockOn.txt" and ingame you just run the command /bind_load_file blockOn.txt As I said I'm not sure if it works, but it's worth trying Edit: Ok I changed two little mistakes but now it's working for me.

Thanks for the help - I haven't tried it yet, but I'd like to wait and see if anyone else has anything to say . The method to set the Block key to a toggle didn't require editing these txt files - just inputting the command into the chat in the game. Surely there must be a more elegant solution that doesn't require me to do stuff outside of the game to restore the block function to its original setting?

Oh I thought you want the block to be on when pressing shift once and if you press shift again the block turns off. If you want the original blocking behavior back you can go to the options -> keybinds and hit reset or default. Unfortunately this resets all keybinds to the default settings.
