I just finished Half Life, and it was buckets of fun to do so. So I wonder if I'm the only weirdo here that do stuff like that, like In this high graphics gaming era have you guys beaten any classics recently? Have you put down GTA V and the New Star Wars to play an oldie?

Outstanding. Have you tried the expansion to Half Life, Blue Shift? It's a parallel story inside the complex. Very short, but somehow really fun. You play Gordon's friend, a security guy at Black Mesa, and see the story from his perspective, as he just tries to do his job.
I've been playing some classic PC games, mostly on EA's Origin's "On The House" giveaways of old games. Haven't really finished any; if anything it's actually CO taking me away from them, especially now since things are moving again. However, I might just take you up on that suggestion.

Not sure if it qualifies as a legacy, but I picked up the Saints Row franchise pack and was making my way through SR2. Although my brother surprised me yesterday with a copy of Fallout 4 for Xmas and told me I had to choice but to play it so my plans have changed quite a bit. Poor SR2 will have to wait now haha. This also means my CO FF character is on the back burner now as well lol.
I still always go back to Skyrim though. The mod scene is too good there so I always have something new to play with.

Did a second playthrough of Jedi Academy and rekindled my hate for Rosh. Really fun game with a surprisingly active multiplayer community.

I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong, when I try to buy the XPs for Half Life Steam says I already own them, then when I fire up Half Life I get no options to play them. I started playing Mass Effect yesterday, and I'm going to play Dead Space right after it. I'm also playing PS1 Xenogears again on an emulator, now that's one hell of a classic right there. And I have been playing Baldur's Gate 2 Enhanced Edition as well as Acewind Dale Enhanced Edition ever since I got them about two years ago, but since they are relatively recently released enhanced versions of the originals I'm not sure if we could consider those legacy. Edit: I just realize those Half Life XPs have their own Icons, LOL, this is what happens to people like me when they work 11 hours, game, and to top it off suffer from insomnia!

Ultima underworld II, so good; it's like travelling back in time 25 years.

I've had Symphony of the Night on my mind lately. Going to have to get my hands on that one again and give it another go. Played it so many times over the years, but it never gets old.

I'm always still picking up old games and playing them when i'm in the mood, being a fan of the old Rollercoaster Tycoon games i picked up RCT2 a while back and play that from time to time as well as Chris Sawyers Locomotion (sometimes known as Transport Tycoon), i actually have the original Unreal Tournament installed somewhere as well (man i had hours of fun on that game when i was a bit younger). But at the moment i've gone back to Minecraft and been busy surviving and building a medieval city.

I'm slowly replaying all Fallout games (but skipped Tactics and Brotherhood of Steel, they're not even considered an official canon these days). Right now it's F3 since I'm done with F2. Probably I won't replay New Vegas. Love FNV, but played it too many times and nothing in Mojave is unfamiliar to me (aside of siding with the Legion, which I'll never do).
Got Lincoln's Repeater and Abe's hat. Dis gonna be good slaughter in Paradise Falls...
