Hey folks. I haven't been around these parts much lately, primarily because I've been busy with a new gig. I'm now writing gaming news and reviews (and soon other types of articles) for a small gaming site: Pixel JudgeWe're a small site currently and trying to grow so I'm asking that you folks give us a look and follow us on twitter if you use twitter: Pixel Judge Twitter If you have any suggestions for the type of content you'd like to see, please let me know. Many thanks, Kenpo

Thanks for asking for our opinions, Kenpo. It's a complex question. I'm going to think about it before replying. --- Been considering this, Kenpo. Just 1 suggestion, something you prolly already thought of: The Martial Arts of <Insert Video Game Name Here>. Example: The Martial Arts of Mortal Kombat X: Johnny Cage, etc. This would be a series of Features articles. This task is not for any martial artist, or even instructor, but a Practical Kenpo Guru. (Anyone can write game news and reviews, on any site, but there's few qualified martial artists. That's more attention grabbing.) And having thought awhile on this, 1 important point - your articles would be more popular if you actually tried to explain the stupid. Example: Superman in fighting games like Injustice (by the same studio as Mortal Kombat X) look a mess. But in his defense, he never learned how to fight, due to his invulnerability he can get away with it. Most of his moves look like he's just using his body as a tool to hammer his opponent in the ground...which the game portrays quite authentically. Maybe even his Telegraphing of his punches serve a purpose; he's so heroic, he doesn't want to hurt anyone, he mainly wants to scare them off or to back-down, just as animals try to avoid unnecessary fighting by making themselves look more intimidating. (But leave a disclaimer to never try to fight like Superman in real life. It only works on him because he's Superman.) People who read those articles are probably fans of those characters, so if you give them some leeway, the readers will enjoy it more. This won't be just 1 Feature, but a series, for different games or different characters. With Mortal Kombat X just around the corner, with exciting characters like Predator and Jason Vorhees, it's great for attracting readers to the site because these are popular characters even for those that don't necessarily own the game. Even people who don't really play Mortal Kombat will be familiar with them, from watching others play them in the arcade, they remember the Fatalities on the news or something. If you draw them in on 1 such article, they may stick around to read your other ones, bookmark the site. This serves as a draw. And of course it won't be limited to Mortal Kombat X, there's a lot of games that feature hand-to-hand combat, you'll never run out of material.

Added to my bookmarks, the site looks marvelous, will definitely join once I un-virus this comp (yikes), why do I keep browsing naughty sites with my normal browser when I have virtual box, linus, and Tor. Gee! I deserve my virus.
I like the looks of the site kenpo, good job!
