They seem to be making a big deal about this.
Bigger than the return of HK-47?

Thanks for reminding me about SWTOR Zed, i've been away from the game for a few weeks now and was going to go back to it this week, this looks quite interesting though, i didn't know they were doing another expansion, especially since they've not long released the Galactic Strongholds expansion. The force looks strong with this one though

Been messing around in SWTOR while waiting for the new STO expansion. Not a bad game, but I'm having serious problems trying to find a class that fits me. I'll have to figure that out and actually get past level 30 before I get to these new stories.

Yup, new expansion in December 2 - Shadow of Revan. The level cap is going to increase to 60 and a new discipline system (whatever that means! ). It seems to be 2 new planets: Rishi and Yavin 4. Oh and subcribers that pre-order the expansion gain 12X experience boost when doing class story missions!!! aka insta lvl 55!

Excellent gives me a good excuse to return to some of my level 55 toons and try and make more credits with them and of course level them up to the new level cap. What class are you playing at the moment Lantesh? i would recommend the Sith Warrior, Smuggler, Imperial Agent and Bounty Hunter classes to try out, they all have pretty solid story's and the abilities on them are pretty playable and fun. My personal favourite is the Sith Warrior class.

My personal favourite is the Sith Warrior class. Right now I'm messing around with a Sage. I haven't made it off Coruscant though. The main issue that I'm having is the presentation of the classes. I'll admit these might be petty and largely stupid, but whatever lol. What I mean is, I really want to play a Guardian, but I really hate the Guardian animations. That baseball bat stance kills the whole AC for me. I'd play a Sentinel too, but I hate the two lightsabers. I want a Sentinel with one saber. I liked Bounty Hunter, but I really want to be able to use a blaster rifle with my Powertech. I liked Operative, but I want to use a pistol with him. Go for the whole Solid Snake knife/pistol combo thing. I couldn't play Trooper at all because shooting gigantic lightning bolts out of an assault rifle is the dumbest thing ever. Otherwise I like it since it's just a mirror of Bounty Hunter. But I can't play it because of that. I didn't like Shadow/Assassin because I just felt like a gimp Sage/Sorc with a double bladed lightsaber. It didn't get enough lightsaber skills for my taste, and with the low force pools and 10m range on force abilities, I felt super gimp. I rerolled as Sage/Sorc. My Sage is still on Coruscant and my Sorc is on Balmorra. I'll probably try out Marauder for Sith Warrior, but I just again I want one saber and not two. I got a Juggernaut to level 21, but it felt soooo slow and boring I ended up deleting it. I tried out a Smuggler but it didn't feel quite right. I barely made it past the tutorial before deleting it. So yeah, stupid petty issues all around, but they really do keep me from playing those classes. I'll probably stick with Sage/Sorc for now, but I wish they got just a few more lightsaber skills.

LOL, they are actually pretty good reasons Lantesh, i agree on the Sage/Sorc they certainly need more saber skills, i've got a Sage up to about level 45'ish on Belsavis now or something around that mark and the i've got to admit the story has been a bit boring and being a Jedi i'd like to get a bit more up close and use my pink light saber, however she is specced as a healer so i'm mostly standing back and healing Qyzen and my friend who i have been teaming up with. Yeah the Guardian stance is a bit dumb and i'm playing with a Guardian alt as well, also i'm not really enjoying the storyline as much as i did with the Sith Warrior. I also have a minor gripe with the trooper, why does the commando have to use a big bulky stupid looking assault cannon? surely that would suit the Vanguard better, i've got a female commando and carrying the assault cannon just doesn't look right on her at all. Also just a note, you play the Sith Juggernaught who carries one light saber and you could spec them to do dps so it would just be a Marauder but with one light saber

I think what I'll do is wait for the discipline system to hit before I remake my Jugg. I felt that he got his staple DPS skills way too late in his skill tree. Seems like the discipline system fixes all of that since it rearranges when you get your staple skills. I think it will feel much better after that change. At which point Jugg might be my favorite class.
