Being an avid Anime and Manga fan (I find American cartoons and comics to be boring), I have always dreamed of creating my own manga. Recently, I came into contact with someone who can draw anime-style. He is willing to draw for me while I write, but he wants to be convinced first.
So along these lines, I was just wondering if anyone who likes anime/manga or is just generally interested would be willing to give advice on my storyline.
I have a number of documents pertaining to different aspects, and currently, I'm just working on the background, but I would very much appreciate any advice anyone would be willing to offer.
If you would be willing to help me out in this regard, please post or send me a PM - to which I will send you the various storyline documents.
Thank you in advance!

He is willing to draw for me while I write, but he wants to be convinced first. I used to draw a bit in college, often for friends. They were portraits of their characters in the tabletop/pencil & paper roleplaying games (this included the WoD and Legend of 5 Rings) we played together. So let me speak from the perspective of one who draws. Although I drew for friends, I never accepted requests (though I received quite a few) because I wanted to draw rather than being "forced" to. This was critical. My 1 advice is this...find out what your friend's interests, like what he wants to draw, then mold it into your story. You'll get higher quality work faster if he draws what he loves. Having said that, it's not that he's being selfish...in my case, I never drew my own characters, because incorporating others' ideas always brought a spark, a little chemistry, that I could never achieve just by myself. I just hated having a gun to my head and being forced to draw, it took all the fun out of it. I'd love to read your writing, but I also like to see what your friend likes to draw. Maybe he posted his work online? If you could share that, I think I could really share some insight to help you and your friend persue your respective interests.
