I find it weird to pre-order a game whose release date is not yet revealed lol. At the moment this is the only game I'm looking forward to. Hope to see everyone here when it comes.

There is also the fact the hottest chicks on the planet are talking about buying GW2, that by itself should be a factor...
Alright alright maybe not, but I can asure the coolest people on the gaming world are going to be there.

I really want to like GW2 and I'm waiting for this game for a long time. I liked first one, I have a lot of trust for ArenaNet. But I'm also fed up with fantasy games, so I don't know... Probably I'll wait till the official release.

Yeah every once in a while I get fed up with fantasy too so I simply take a break, you can combo GW with CO, a beefed F2P acc in CO won't be bad at all, asuming the incoming stuff is good enaugh to justify it. Also Secret World looks very promising and there is a Mechwarrior F2P game on its way. All these titles would combo rather nicely with GW2 for when you need a break from fantasy.

Not Pre-ordered but very interested in this game and since the box price is the only price of entry I'd be foolosh not to pick it up sometime near launch. Hoping there'll be a disc version available via amazon uk. I know the collector's edition just went on sale on Amazon UK, they announced it on twitter. I don't know about standard boxed editions though. www.amazon.co.uk/Guild-Wars-Pre-Purchase-Standard-Edition/dp/B007T4SB9W/ref=wl_it_dp_o_pC?ie=UTF8&coliid=I1JIXQF7MX50J2&colid=VNTQG2L40QAOHmm Amazon UK box price is cheaper than the digital download.... Excellent! Depending on how much I manage to score my guitar gear for today (v.important) I might just be able to get that past Mrs Collide!

I will be playing GW2. What more do you need to know? Tell me all you can, I don't care how long it is I will read it. I know you're a huge GW fan so I definitely value your input in it. Also, LOL. I think I see a joke there too.

I already purchased this game.
Anyone setting a GW2 Guild?
Selling points for me: No sub fee No Holy Trinity (loot for everyone as well) Dynamic Events Dynamic Combat (charge attacks by holding own button, dodge attacks by moving out of the way, block by using a shield or spell) Design your own gear Scaling (enemies, playing with high/low level friends) Natural way to group with other players without grouping

I have no words to describe how I felt every time I was told "sorry Scorchie, no room for you in our party, because we don't need your Prof (role)" in the origianl GW. So lets imagine a game with no holy trinity that is designed for the player to modify their toons for the situation, isn't that amazing!!! no more town hugging or logging off because you can't find a party that needs you. GW2 must be amazing indeed!

I already purchased this game. Anyone setting a GW2 Guild? The clowns will be, if people can stand guilding with us. Though we'll be using our Unbound name rather than our Legion of Laughter one

I might consider buying this game eventually (single time fee with no sub-price is a big incentive to play an online game, plus seen lots of cool features mentioned so far). However, I have not seen anything about the most important feature of ALL... Appearance Customization - How is it like in GW2?
- What things do we get to customize about our characters? (Hair color, facial sliders, body sliders, etc.)
- Do we get to make changes after character creation, or do we need to be really carefull how we make them look from the start cuz once they're done they're set in stone?
- What about gear? Is it visible, and assuming that it is, do we get to customize how it looks, or do we get stuck with whatever drops we manage to find obscuring our characters?
