i went a little crazy in the auction house on become devices, and used those heavily while leveling. djinn for trash, vampire for tougher encounters and command leader for travel. it requires a retcon at 6 to ditch rebuke. i didn't find much information out there on dedicated healing builds, so i stumbled through this one mostly on my own. the original plan was to use inequity as the main heal, with tons of self and indirect heals to save me from myself. in actual play celestial conduit is my main spam heal, with inequity as more of an emergency save. the end result is a versatile pve main healer. i have not gotten into pvp yet, so i have no real perspective on how poorly this would do there. the few duels i've had have not been encouraging, even if they were highly entertaining.
there are some things more experienced players might find questionable. i went aopm because it provides lots of little benefits that add up to a big overall improvement. i think of it as strapping on an extra 8 pieces of primary gear, and giving 8 secondaries to your team. there are good arguments for seraphim or aorp, but for flexibility aopm is hard to beat. aopm also lets me focus nearly entirely on pre in my gearing, and still get all of the benefits of increased stats. knock/hold resistance, crit, extra hp/energy, and humvee tossing. copd r3 i picked up for the self heal, and kept for the knockback resistance. illumination r3 is where i'd go to free up some advantage points. some other options might be to pick up brilliance, spend on tp's, or paranormal paranoia on ebon ruin. if anyone has any questions or constructive criticism, please fire away.
