The Spinning Solution is to Exit from CO and reopen the game. Or it is until another solution comes along. * * * After a cut scene, my toon began spinning. As in, spinning like a child standing in one spot yet turning around and around until they finally fall down from the dizziness. Only my toon can never fall down because a program cannot get dizzy. Watching the screen did give me one heck of a headache. <---- no puke face I remember having this problem once or twice before and I thought I had seen a solution some where that did not include exiting the game. At present it is the only solution that works for me. And I do not mean logging off, but exiting the game to my desk top and then coming back in so far this is the only way to fix the problem for me. From what I could remember from the suggestions of how to fix such a spin cycle problem was as simple as striking either the Q or E key depending on the direction of the spin, but that did not work. Neither did W or S or R nor any of the number keys. If some one knows the solution or remembers the thread the answer is in, please post it and thanks. If not, and since so far it is a rare problem, as I have already said it and since can be fixed with an exit from the game I will leave the current Spin Solution posted above.

Neither did W or S or R nor any of the number keys. This always works for me. If I'm rotating clockwise, I hit "E", if counterclockwise I hit "Q". If that's not working for you, I dunno what to tell ya. If you're using a gamepad as your primary means of control, maybe that affects it.

How often do you find yourself spinning - btw?

I'd say maybe 2 or 3 out of 10 times.

If it were happening as often to me as often as you, I would have quit playing long ago. 20 to 30 percent of the time is fairly unacceptable - IMHO. All I can say is you got the stamina enough to be an astronaut, BR.

CTP's anyone?

clicking and holding middle mouse button also usually works. As does rotating the camera.

In my experience (yes, I've gone into the spin cycle before) this is an issue with your optical mouse getting confused. Some mice really dislike wood grain, some dislike other patterns. Either way, for me, just moving my mouse/character around a bit generally fixes it in a moment or two. I've certainly never had to exit the client.
