I have a question! I am new here, and I am a level 8 Grim. I am enjoying this class so far, it seems a little tough to solo with since I don't have a heal yet and everything, and I took flight because my gut appeal to what was cooler sounding told me to. So is there anyway to fix this? I really like the sound of porting in, dropping sigils, porting out and picking off stragglers, it sounds pretty nifty! Thanks! UPDATE: Ignroe my noob wining, I decided to just go to the Powerhouse and I paid some resources to change. No biggie!

Haha, you'll find that resources serve little purpose other than paying for power and advantage changes. IMHO, there isn't a good market system yet implemented into CO. I assume you grabbed Teleport with your power changes - how's it working out for you?

I messed around on some ice guys in Canada a little bit and it worked fine, but they were much lower level. It seems to do the trick though! Also - traveling with teleport is actually pretty fun, I thought it would be lame but its pretty cool popping in and out of sight like that. Another question though: is there any way to get healing pots or anything or do I just need to survive until I get my heal at 17? Thanks!

you can craft them once your craft skill level gets high enough (sorry I can't remember how high it needs to be), and at level 11 you can buy heals from the shady character hanging out by the tailor in MC.

Oh ok cool! I took Mysticism as my craft skill, 90% of the reason is because it pretty much sounded like what a Grim would take...lol. I think my specialization was avatars? Or maybe the other, I can't remember. Does any of that matter for heal items?

Specializations make no difference at all other than Action Figures, item names and flavor text.

Ahh ok, so these are good for OH CRAP moments when you need to survive a bit longer at the end of a fight and you can recoup afterward? Not for mid-fight sustainability heals. That makes sense.

The risk is that every character with a non-self heal will become a healbot. However, the Grimoire usually are able to dish out damage while healing with its DoTs and Sigils. And if you happen to have a Mind on your team you're set

Hello, I have question about Grimoire ..
I've been playing him for 3 days now, he is lvl 14 and I read somewhere in the Champion Online official forum guide that at some point, the sigil cooldown eventually going to be as low as the duration, is this true?
If so, how much int is that going to be? My current cooldown is 25sec with 123 int.

However, I know one of the vets out there would probably have this information, so if anyone knows, I would welcome advice. However, I do know there are diminishing returns for stats beyond the 200 mark, so perhaps around there is when the cooldown starts to approach the duration.

The diminishing returns only count for damage bonuses - any other aspects of a stat keeps building above that. However, I do not have the exact math for that, either, but I'm certain either Gamma or Falchoin would be able to provide it, would they stop by.

I can definitively say that the duration is longer than my CD, and I think my int is around 220 or so right now. I am not exactly sure when I got to that threshold, but I know i can keep my sigils of storm up permanently.
speaking of stats...
i can easily hit the cap on int and presence with the gear i have. so im looking for nice addons for gear for pvp and pve. right now for general grinding i have some a power replacement on primary offense, endurance per kill, and health per kill.
any advice for the rest?
