1-40 runhey, cool idea. almost missed it too, but i guess it was intended for your SG and i mostly keep to S.E.C.R.E.T. anyways, I'd be interested if my team were to have vent and a mic made mandatory. thats a lot of team work and I'm a slow typer. I'd be most interested in leveling a glacier with a tanking roll, or a tempest. I would also consider the mind if the team needed heals. I'm available 11 am - 9 pm (if I've done the server to EST calculations correctly) every freaking day! eighto

Can't make it mandatory 'cause I bet I'm not the only one that doesn't have a mic for the PC (I'm a console gamer) but I could make voice chat on mandatory on your team if you rather talk and read. Let me know in-game what you think (live chat about this might be best)

sorry, I saw you on-line but you logged before i got to you. with my experience with the built in chat it works 70% of the time, cuts out during cut-scenes, and advertises out loud to silver members. but if thats the way it has to be then so be it i suppose. it still sounds like fun. so i went ahead and created Muzzi@Eighto The Void. he's sitting at 0/800 XP that is...if you'll take me

Setting the teams between tomorrow and Friday, First Team run on Saturday. Also if you haven't done so, post your availability based on server time. If you're reading this post and you want in, you still have time. once the teams are divided however won't be any more openings until The Disciple comes out if anyone wants to run a team with one.

OK
Saturday 4pm - 6pm (PDT) in Server Time I'm committing to blitzing the following: Qularr Invasion Find your way around rencen (maybe picking your craft as well) Canada crisis inc. open mission.
I'm definitely rerolling Lost Airman (Behemoth)
Please be aware that I'll be on my silver NPC account @harshrandom and not supercollide.
I'm going to commit to give Saturday 4pm - 6pm (PDT) over to this UNLESS there is an event the or similar that clashes. Other than that I may be available for short blasts during the rest of the week but don't count on it.
[EDIT] Oh yeah - no voice chat so my chatfials are free of charge.

4-6 server time works for me, for what it's worth. I think i'm gonna try out Mind, give me needed practice in the support role since that's what my Mek toon is supposed to be as well and i lean towards forgetting i'm not dps. In regards to vent/voice chat, my mic is broken atm and buying a new one isn't likely in the foreseeable future. If the group i'm in doesn't need the mind/support i'm not super attached to it and am willing to try any of the AT's other than behemoth and marksman which are the two i've used, and force/gadget which i used in ff.

4 to 6 server time is 6 to 8 server time for me (all PM). I could certainly do that, but would prefer either earlier or later, because i like to eat dinner at a reasonable hour. Or play some, break for dinner, and resume playing.
Also, at least one night this weekend i'll have dinner plans, not sure which offhand yet.
Vastly prefer times during the afternoon for weekends, although evenings are certainly possible. Some of us have a life, or at least a potential life, on the weekends. I'm in US Central Time, so i'm sure people like Joh also wouldn't mind eating in about the same time frame. =P
Which isn't to say I can't arrange to play other times. But the likelihood of something coming up that is going to trump game time will vastly increase if we're planning on a weekend dinner-time play time or early evening. -------------------------
Mic: I have one. I do not like in-game chat. Advertisements are awful. I have skype set up, and could figure out Vent if absolutely necessary.
---------------- refined AT statement: probably Inferno. They seem to refuse to fix any of the bugs i care about, and so i can't justify going gold while a lot of the game content is buggy or has stupid long queue times. I'll be on the account @squirrelkiller, and will look at costuming today.

4 - 6 is fine by me as well.
I do have a mic, but I haven't got it to work with ingame-chat yet.

Keep in mind that the purpose of this is to have fun while being on a team. It doesn't have to be a cult or court order. There might be days where a team just won't be able to play (I recommend that if you have the time available to do this on a regular basis that you have another toon join this, that's what I'm actually doing)
A 4-6 run on Saturday seems fine with most people so I guess that's when the event will start.
After the event starts on Saturday, I want everyone that participates to come back here. There might be screenshots (you can post some if you take them) but also a "team subscription" (Something I should have done from the start but I wanted the available time first)
EDIT
If you're on the list add everyone else as a friend. It will help the team know when their teammates are on and if they're busy or not.

Casus Bella@Squirrelkiller Real Name: ?'!k-zt! Code Name: Casus Bella AT: Inferno Concept: Qularr-human hybrid, genetically engineered soldier gone rogue --------------------------- Disadvantaged on earth because of the relatively low oxygen content of the atmosphere, Qularr science efforts were devoted to creating a Qularr-Human hybrid. Two goals were pursued: to produce soldiers capable of operating at peak efficiency in a 16% oxygen environment, and ensure desirable Qularr traits were genetically dominant so these soldiers could reproduce through intercourse with humans. These efforts were ultimately successful, but the incorporated human physiology interfered with the qularr hive mind connection. Entity ?'!k-zt!, isolated without the hive mind connection and increasingly angry with her second-class treatment, ultimately escaped the Qularr lab - destroying it in the process. Eventually she befriended a group of heroes working against Qularr plans on Earth. Desiring nothing less than the utter destruction of the Qularr, she would ultimately take the name Casus Bella - that her existence was a just cause for war against the Qularr. Casus Bella's genetic modifications includes ignition glands. These require phosphorous-enriched hydrocarbons to be pumped into special glands which then expel and ignite this substance. ?'!k-zt! does not 'speak' per se, but uses pheromones to communicate mood and intention to her human allies. While capable of communicating in-detail with a combination of clicks, chirps, body movement, and chemical signalling, she's found this is rather ineffective when speaking with humans and is forced to resort to sign language or writing for true communication.

Codename: Overdrive Nature: Genetically improved human Powers: Manifestion and control of electrical charges Classified as: Extremly dangerous Status: Unknown Location: Unknown Note to all VIPER personnel: This person is designated as a high-priority enemy of VIPER that is to be apprehended on sight! He is highly trained and must be considered armed at all times. If he resists, permission to use lethal force is given. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- (Note to Joh: I included members of Project Nightfall, specifically Master Mind, in my backstory. Is that ok? If you want me to take that out / change anything, just say so.) Subject #127, codename Overdrive, was a member of VIPERs Project Awakening. He does not remember anything before that, his earliest memories are waking up in one of VIPERs laboratories. The experiments were supposed to make use of the untapped potential of his brain, turn him into a Telepath, a Telekentic or a Precog. But something went wrong, instead of increasing his mental potential, the experiments bestowed Subject #127 with the ability to create and manipulate electrical charges. Although unplanned, VIPER was not unhappy with this development. Their thoughts, unsurprisingly, were towards violent applications of this talent. Subject #127 was trained to use his powers for combat and assassination and made into a VIPER operative, codename "Overdrive". To ensure his continuing obedience and unquestioning loyalty, he was put under a mindlock by one of the telepaths created by Project Awakening. This lock repressed any negative thoughts and feelings about his work or VIPER. After several months of successfully completed missions, Overdrive was given the objective to look into the cause for the disturbance and shutdown of several VIPER operations. Overdrive investigated and found a group of superheros called "Project Nightfall" behind the occurrences. Unknown to him, his investgation had been noticed, and members of Project Nightfall set a trap and captured him. Master Mind, their leader, and a strong telepath, scanned his mind to find out what he knew. She noticed the mindlock that prevented Overdrive from questioning his orders, and broke it. Suddenly Overdrive remembered all the inhuman experiments, psychic conditionings and other unspeakable acts committed onto him by VIPER. He realized what he had done in his service to the evil organization, the people he had killed, the lives he had ruined. He wanted to make up for what he had done. Using her abilities to make sure he was not pretending, Master Mind accepted him into Project Nightfall. Overdrive kept his VIPER combat armor, as an acknowledgement of his past actions, but modified it with Project Nightfalls colors and symbols. Overdrive has several important goals now. He wants to help people, to gain some form of redemption for his past actions. He wants to take revenge on VIPER, for what they did to him. And, most importantly, in doing so, he hopes to find answers about his past. Who was he before they turned him into a monster? Maybe he had family and friends somewhere, that are still wondering where he disappeared to?

OK this is how we stand at the moment (if I'm missing someone let me know) - joh_hota 2 toons. One Void or Mind, the other The Inventor.
- @squirrelkiller Inferno
- @harshrandom Behemoth
- Jaxton Dragoon The Savage
- voidofone The Grimoire
- kestremel Either Void or Mind
- @ace_Cool Tempest
- eighto The Void
This table should explain it better Name | Handle | Archetype | Talia Armada | joh_hota | The Inventor | Casus Bella | @squirrelkiller | The Inferno | Lost Airman | @harshrandom | The Behemoth | Wolfpack | Jaxton Dragoon | The Savage | Magian | @voidofonem | The Grimoire | Overdrive | @ace_Cool | The Tempest | Muzzi | eighto | The Void | J'Val Kor'el | kestremel | The Mind | Claudia | joh_hota | The Specialist |
I still need to make up my mind about the other toon or toons. Still I want everyone on the list and everyone entering this tonight, if the want to be on the dedicated team (that's the team that can play together the most since we're on more often) or the casual team (the one that plays 1-2 hrs a day) Saturday's run is kind of casual for Team 1 and Team 2. I'm aiming at finishing the playthrough of the second team where the first one left off. So far Casuals are: Jaxton Collide Ace Void We'll see how that team works in terms of time. Which means that Dedicated team will start its run tomorrow after team 1, which is after 6pm server time.

OK first I want to thank everyone that participated, it was a lot of fun and we almost had two full teams. There were a few hiccups, game related hiccups of course but nothing too annoying. For one the game does need to improve the XP awarded to teams, the XP we gained by killing mobs was less than doing it alone when it should be more since we get more enemies. First run of Thick as Thieves went perfect but the second had a random (we didn't change team leadership or anything of the sort) difficulty level drop. Seems like it's an ongoing game bug as it happened earlier when I was playing Resistance with some friends. So nine toons joined the ranks of Nightfall, these are the missions we've covered: T U T O R I A L # Meet SOCRATES # Heroes Wanted # Seeding Frenzy # Chip off the Old # Gear Up # Millennium's Mayor # Mayor's Mementos # Mail to the Chief # Citizens Distressed # Prescription Retention # Silver Avenger Sandwich # Signal to Noise # Full Metal Jacket # Homestead Security # The Ironclad Defense * Cat-astrophe * Right off the Bat * Speed in Need * Student Buddies * Urbanites Incapacitated * Vacation Salvation We got all the Perks from the tutorial too and once we got back to Millenium city we got two more missions. Power Up and Canadian Conundrum. On the way to the power House we stopped by the toy master to get its perk. After we got our TPs and all we set out to Canada C R I S I S I N C A N A D A [5] And Justiciar For All [5] The Ordeal of Oceanica 408 [7] Oceanica's Other Threat [6] Shepard's Cry [7] Lost in the Snow [7] Passengers in Permafrost [8] Subzero Servant [8] Into the Storm Eye of the Storm Torn from the Sky Free From Debris * During our first run I made a mistake. I was in such a hurry to get as much done in two hours as possible that I forgot one mission After the Storm For that reason I told team 2 to skip it as well. When we finished the Crisis we took the City of the Future mission and went back to Millennium City. We took the missions from the Defender and Socrates. And After we did the ones we had to do on our own (exploring Ren Cen and picking up an R&D school) we worked on Ren Cen Recon, Walk in the Park and Thick as Thieves which was the last mission we played on the event. The reason I kept both teams from deviating too much is that some people do have more time to play than others and even during the event more than one wanted to continue. Time is a *censored*, there's no doubt about it. Still there will be a third team running when the Disciple comes out, so if you wanted in but were too late to do so that will be your chance. Once the third team runs I will make it catch up to where the other two teams are and will make the following team divisions: Casual Team:This will be @harshrandom team. He will set the time to play and the days. Dedicated Team:This will be Jaxton Dragoon team. Again the time and days will be up to him Hardcore Team:This will be my team joh_hota. I will have toons on the other teams as well 'cause all I really want to do is play co-op. Other than that If I'm on and the rest of the team is on It's Game Time! So if you have a preference or if you want to be in more than one team let us know. Also Team leaders, be sure to post the server time you'll be able to run these and which days so people can register to the group that suits them best.
