I just started on a silver account and i'm just wondering if you guys have faced segregation in terms of grouping, pvp, or guilds because you are an inferior archetype and not a free form.

There are undoubtedly some people that will do that. However, I would be surprised if free players did not outnumber subscribers now, so I would think the majority of players would not do this.

Indeed. As the Admin has said, there are inevitably some. In my experience though, the freeform players are for the most part happy to see the game populated again. In addition, most of the archetypes are pretty functional, and a well-composed AT team can tackle all of the game's content.
The game does not have such an intense focus on instanced "heroic" or "raid" style content that mandates specific roles, that it shuns ATs very much. A ramshackle group can complete most things. From what I gather, Therakiel's Temple is one of the few instances that really needs a well-composed team.

Though even when it comes to Therakiel's Temple elite runs, personaly, playing the healer, all I care for is that one person in the group can hold aggro away from me. As long as nothing hits me and I am allowed to keep everyone alive, I care not what the people in my group are.

Personally, I haven't encountered any segregation of freeform vs Archetypes or Gold vs Silver kind of thing, except of course, in the arena, where I will forever be joining pure AT matches rather than mixed matches for obvious reasons.

Never seen it. CO has a pretty friendly bunch online, for the most part.

I started playing withing a couple of days of the f2p launch (late January, iirc) and was silver up until a little over a week ago. Not once have I experienced any negativity from any player over the fact that I was a silver. To be honest, I halfway expected to, and was wonderfully surprised when I didn't.

If you're running into morons like that give S.E.C.R.E.T. a look. There are over 200 of us and we don't discriminate. Everyone plays with everyone.

I'm very glad to see I have NEVER seen discrimination on Silver/Gold. I have seen animosity against players who copied their characters from existing IP (comics, films, cartoons, books, etc.) So...okay, yes, it's true, it's not about the colour of your account, but the content of the characters.

There were some very vocal people on the official forums and in MC zone chat crying Doom(tm) about the hordes of silver players who would ruin the community. I took great joy telling them that if we could put up with them, we'd cope just fine with any silver Luckily those vocal idiots seem to be mostly gone now. Good riddance...

Silver players have to sit at the back of the bus, and use those fountains over there.
Nah, but seriously, I don't think there's any real segregating, other than maybe those few jerks you'll always stumble upon who think they're better because they pay money. The way I see it, everyone's able to be just as equally cool or stupid, no matter what they do.
About the only problem I have with some of the silver players is when they ask you five times what class you are, and why they didn't see that, and wonder how you got that class. After explaining it five times to them in great length. Eventually I just break down in tears, asking why they don't understand to myself while assuming a fetal position on my floor rocking back and forth on my feet.

I get that question pretty often now that I've went gold. But my noobs are always more knowledgeable. I say "none, it's a freeform", then they just say "cool." I imagine they're looking at my toon in awe as they say it.
Before I went gold, NEVER had a problem with segregation. But it was also impossible for me to find a pug. So I never dealt with many gold people, outside of the ones on the Silvers channel
