Thanks again for the build update.

I was thinking of swapping out March of the Dead for Void Horror.

They last 20sec. and move slow. If I choose Shadow Bolt as the power builder, which has a chance to apply fear, as well as having Ritual of Primal Summoning which can howl applying fear, is that a good choice as Void Horror is unbound and can apply additional damage to feared targets and lunge at your targets like many of the other pets?

What role will you run her in?

I will run her in Hybrid role.

One note. March of the Dead's duration increases with Intelligence. I forget if this is listed in the tool tip or not but with high Int they can last around 60 seconds.

Your fear idea is perfectly workable.

Hi,

I decided to experiment with trying Support role and I have a question (looking to drop my threat generation). Am I looking at it wrong or are my numbers off? When I'm in Hybrid, conflag does 386/0.5sec and when I switch to Support it drops to 286/0.5sec.

I thought there was only a 10% damage drop from Hybrid. The sigils seem to drop too large an amount as well.

I believe the new role changes make drastic changes to how much of a contribution we get from each of our superstats (and what the superstats do). That's the first place I'd check if I were at my machine right now and I *think* the sum total change is fairly over 10%.

I believe you are correct. The numbers are quite boggling trying to figure out all the numbers involved with primary SS and secondary SS, I don't know how you do it.

I have started going ahead and running her in the Support role as I have found I like the smaller threat generation and better energy management.

The loss of my primary attacks at least appears to be made up just as well by the pets as I now have less bad guys pounding on me as soon as I start conflag.

With the upcoming changes, I figured I would get used to support mode as AoRP is getting a reduction, but is much higher on protecting my pets and others on the team.

Do you see making many changes to the build as I know you have been hip deep in testing out the new forms and such. I am holding on a lot of my characters to see how much their play will change, again.

So is this build to be run in support role because of Aura of Radiant Protection change's or is 10% resist enough for the pets?

I believe Kenpo builds most of his toons to run in the Hybrid role. I run this toon in the Support role for lower threat and better energy management.

The downside of course is the 10% reduction in damage you do. Considering how fragile I am finding the pets to be in the Alerts, even with the Commander spec tree, I don't think 10% would allow them to last long in most battles.

On a side topic, has anyone noticed any stat boosts for the pets using the Commander tree? When selecting the stats to increase their damage and make them more durable, I don't actually see it in play and after confirming my point selections the pet's stats for HP and damage do not change to reflect the choices. Has anyone else noticed this?

Yeah unless kenpo specifically says otherwise he runs in Hybrid.

IIRC Role shouldn't be affecting pet damage. However Aura Of Radiant Protection now gives better damage resist in Support.
My variation of this build runs in either but I'm not really finding the need to switch to hybrid.

Will try and looking into the commander spec tonight.
