Guide Overview
Hello guys and girls, today I bring you a new and updated guide for the Night Avenger Archetype. So what does this hero do? This hero dispatches justice in the streets from the shadows inflicting devastating Critical Hits.
This is a premium Archetype that can be purchased by Silver Players from the Zen Store or is free for Lifetime Subscribers
This Archetype can be obtained for free by gathering 750 Nighthawk Favor during the rotative Nighthawk Event to unlock from the Store of Lady Nighthawk
Main Mechanics:
1. Stealth: This hero has the Night Warrior passive that grants the power Sneak, allowing our hero to turn invisible. Some powers can consume Sneak to activate secondary bonus effects.
2. Critical Hits: Given this hero has Dexterity as its main Super Stat, our attacks will often critically hit doing more damage than others.
3. Shredded: This is a debuff that lowers the target's resistance to Slashing damage by 18% for 15 seconds.
Special Note: You can customize the weapon(s) of this hero in the Tailors around the world to match your character designs.

Power Explanation
Level 1 - Hawk's Talons: This is our energy builder power that doesn't need to be ranked up in order to generate energy for us so I recommend leaving it at rank 1. The special advantage of this power is called Peerless Predation which will grant a 10% chance per strike to gain a stack of the Focus buff, that increases our melee damage and ranged damage by certain percentages scaling with our Dexterity stat. Additionally if we are affected by a Martial Arts form power, we only gain an additional stack of this buff, but if we aren't affected by a Form we only gain a stack that will vanish after 20 seconds.
Level 1 - Viper's Fangs: This is our combo power which will perform a series of cross slashes with Fighting Claws to the foes in 220/220/220 degree cone within a distance of 10ft. The final strike will apply the Shredded debuff to all targets. The special advantage of this power is called Spitting Cobra which will grant each hit of this combo a chance to apply the Deadly Poison debuff to the targets. Deadly Poison deals Toxic damage every second for 16 seconds and considered a type of Poison effect.
Level 6 - Rend and Tear OR Ricochet Throw: This is the first choice between two powers for this Archetype.
1. Rend and Tear: This power will deal single target Slashing damage to a foe and will knock them up for a small distance as well refresh the duration of the Shredded debuff if it is present on the target. This power has a special advantage called Drake's Deliverance which will cause this abitlity to deal additional damage but it will deal it as damage over time
2. Ricochet Throw: This is a Blast power that will deal Slashing damage to a single foe on tap and if it is charged it will bounce to nearby targets dealing 5% less damage per bounce. Also this power will deal 30% more damage and split into two boomerangs if it is used from Stealth. The special advantage of this power are Microelectronic Controllers which will cause more damage per each target the boomerangs hit and Slicer which will apply the Shredded debuff to the primary target of this attack on a full charge.
Level 8 - Night Warrior: This is our Slotted Passive which is one of the three Slotted Passives for the Martial Arts power sets. It will increase the damage of all our attacks for a percentage scaling with our Super Stats, increases Charge Speed, Dodge and Avoidance by a small amount. Additionally it will grant access to the following power: Sneak: which will turn our hero invisible... transparent as and is a toggle ability that doesn't consume energy but will make us move slower. As Night Warrior is ranked up this power's rank will increase too. It increases our single target melee damage by a large degree and our single target ranged damage to a lesser degree.
Level 11 - Smoke Bomb Lunge OR Grappling Gun Pull: This is the second choice between two powers for this Archetype.
1. Smoke Bomb Lunge: This is a movement power that will close quarters with our target dealing Crushing damage by dropping a curtain of smoke and reappering to strike the foe, Snare them reducing their movement speed and Stun them for a short time so they can't escape. The special advantage of this power is called Sudden Strike which will increase the Critical HIT Severity of our next Melee Critical Hit by 15% if we lunge more than 50ft away.
2. Grappling Gun Pull: This power will deal Crushing damage to a foe within 50ft and yank them towards our hero. This power has no special advantages.
Level 14 - Form of the Tiger: This is our toggle form that will grant us stacks of Focus which increases the melee damage of our hero by a large amount and ranged damage for a lesser amount everytime we charge a melee power halfway. We can gain a stack of this form once every 4 seconds, stacks up to 8 times and the damage bonus of this form scales with our Dexterity stat. Also increases our energy costs by 10%.
Level 17 - Throwing Blades: This is a ranged power that will deal Slashing damage to foes within 50ft and a 120 degree cone by throwing boomerangs to them. If this power is fully charged, it will apply the Sudden Strike buff to our hero which increases the damage of our next Critical Hit by 15%. Counts as an Chi Energy effect. If used from Stealth this power deals double damage. This power has a special advantage called Aggression which will cause this power to apply the Bleed debuff to targets in melee range (25ft).
Level 21 - Dragon's Claws OR Tiger's Bite: This is third choice between two powers for this Archetype.
1. Dragon's Claws: This power will deal Slashing damage to a single target and when it lands a Critical Hit, this power gains +50% Critical Hit Severity. This power has the following special advantages:
a. Vertebreak: Dragon's Claws will knock down the target 3 times in the following 3 seconds of the attack. The knock down cannot happen more than once every 60 seconds.
b. Dragon Rush: This advantage will grant us energy over time depending of the amount of stacks of Focus from our Form power and charge time, this energy return scales with our Dexterity stat. Additionally Dragon Rush will reduce the energy cost of all melee attacks by 15%. Costs 3 advantage points.
2. Tiger's Bite: This power will deal single target Slashing damage to a foe and if they are affected by the Shredded debuff, Tiger's Bite will consume the debuff to deal additional damage. The special advantage of this power is called Mouth of Madness which will grant this power a 50% chance to not consume the Shredded debuff.
Level 25 - Relentless: This power is our energy unlock that will generate energy over time if we land a Critical Hit on a foe affected by a Wound effect (Shredded or Bleed in this case). The energy return of this power scales with our Recovery and Endurance stats.
Level 30 - Parry: This is our block replacer power that can be maintained to reduce incoming damage from foes' attacks. This power will return a small portion of Crushing damage if we block within 2 seconds. Parry will generate energy based on the damage taken and the Recovery stat. This power has a special advantage called The Elussive Monk that will grant our hero a small Dodge and Avoidance bonus scaling with our Dexterity stat when Parry is slotted, as well 33% Knock resistance for 2 seconds every time we make a melee attack.
Level 35 - Gas Pellets OR Bolas: This is the fourth choice between two powers for this Archetype.
1. Gas Pellets: This power will throw a cluster of Gas Pellets that will deal Toxic damage over time and Snare foes inside the gas clouds. Has a 15 seconds cooldown. The special advantage of this power is called Oversized Pellet Bag which will cause the Gas Pellets to have a chance to apply the Deadly Poison debuff to the targets.
2. Bolas: This is a crowd control power that will deal a moderate amount of Crushing damage and must be fully charged to Paralyze the enemy, if they are of Enforcer rank or lower. Has a recharge of 15 seconds. This power doesn't have any special advantage besides the generic Nailed to the Ground advantage which cancels any active Travel Powers present on the target.
Level 40 - Shadow Strike OR Strafing Run: This is the final choice between two powers for this Archetype.
1. Shadow Strike: This power used to be granted by Night Warrior on the past, and now it is an Ultimate power that deal less damage but can now perform a Critical Hit, also we need to be using the Sneak power to use this power because now is a necessary condition. This power has a recharge of 60 seconds.
2. Strafing Run: This power will create a bullseye at the mouse location to designate an area within 50ft to call in a Jet support to drop three projectiles that will cause Fire damage and leave behind a Pyre Patch. The Pyre Patch will deal Fire damage over time and has a 10% chance to apply the Clinging Flames debuff which deals Fire damage every 2 seconds for 12 seconds. This power has a recharge of 20 seconds and has no special advantages.
