Guide Overview
Hello guys and girls, today I bring you a new and updated guide for the Mountain Archetype. So what does this hero do? This is a premium Archetype that can be purchased by Silver Players from the Zen Store or is free for Lifetime Subscribers

Power Explanation
Level 1 - Wield Earth: This is our energy builder power that doesn't need to be ranked up in order to generate energy for us so I recommend leaving it at rank 1, operates at both melee and ranged damage, and the initial attack has a 15% chance to apply a stack of Stagger. The special advantage of this power is called Faltering Strikes which will cause all hit of this power to have a chance to Stagger the foe instead the opening hit.
Level 1 - Stone Shot: This is our blast attack that can be charged to hit up to 5 foes with Crushing damage and has a scaling chance to apply a stack of Stagger to the primary target. The special advantage of this power is called Shard Burst which will increase the area of effect damage of Stone Shot by 50% as well have a scaling chance to Stagger all foes hit based on charge time.
Level 6 - Tremor: This power is a ranged area attack that will hit 5 enemies within 50ft. If the power is tapped the primary target will be knocked up in the air but if the power is fully charged all targets will be knocked up in the air. The special advantage of this power is called Rupture which will apply a stack of the Stagger debuff to the enemies if the primary target is already affected by it.
Level 8 - Defiance: This is our Slotted Passive which will grant our hero stacks of Defiant! and passively provide one stack of this buff. The stacks of this Defiant! increases our damage resistance scaling with both ranks and our Super Stats and can stack up to 6 times; receiving a stack each time we suffer damage every two seconds. I also forgot to mention that Defiant! lasts for 20 seconds.
Level 11 - Cave In OR Upheaval: This is the first choice between two powers for this Archetype.
1. Cave In: This power will deal damage to a single foe by impaling them with shards of stone within 50ft and if the target is affected by stacks of Stagger they will be consumed and the target will be Stunned for 2 seconds. The special advantage of this power is called Aggressive Gravitation which will purge the stacks of Stagger on the target and transform them in stacks of Enraged!. Sadly this archetype does not have the Enrage toogle form so if this happen the stacks of Enraged will vanish.
2. Uphealval: This is a melee attack which can be charged to deal Crushing damage to the foe and launch them in the air. The special advantage of this power is called Expansive Terrain which will transform this ability into a ranged attack, increase its energy cost by 50% and will lose its melee damage bonus strength causing to benefit from our Ego stat.
Level 14 - Concentration: This is our toggle form that will grant us stacks of Concentration which increase the ranged damage of our hero by a large amount and melee damage for a lesser amount everytime we fully charge or maintain a ranged power or attack a foe for more than 25 feet away. We can gain a stack of this form once every 4 seconds, stacks up to 8 times and the damage bonus of this form scales with our Ego or Intelligence stat, whichever is higher. In this archetype case is Ego. Also increases our energy costs by 10%
Level 17 - Landslide OR Seismic Smash: This is the second choice between two powers for this Archetype.
1. Lanslide: This is a movement power that will cause our hero to perform a quick dash and hit an enemy dealing a small amount of Crushing damage as well Snaring them for 13 seconds. If we lunge further than 20ft and the target is not affected by a hold effect, the target will be Staggered for 12 seconds. The special advantage of this power is called Rock Solid which will cause our hero to knock up the target and surrounding targets within 10ft if the primary target is Staggered as well deal bonus damage with this ability but this advantage consumes the stacks of Stagger on the target. Damage and Knock distance scale with the number of stacks of Stagger purged.
2. Seismic Smash: This is an area attack movement power which must be fully charged to attack, which will deal damage to 5 foes if used within 25ft in a sphere of 15ft. The special advantage of this power is called Massive Attack which will remove the AoE component of Seismic Smash and increase its damage by 60% transforming it into a single target attack.
Level 21 - Stone Shroud: This is our block replacer power that can be maintained to reduce incoming damage from foes' attacks. The feature of this power is that while blocking will apply the Imposing Strength[/b] debuff on the targets, reducing their movement speed based on the distance they are attacking us. Stone Shroud will generate energy based on the damage taken and our Recovery stat. This power has no special advantages.
Level 25 - Destructive: This is the native energy unlock of the Earth framework that will generate energy over time each time we apply the Stagger debuff to the enemies. The energy return of this power scales with our Endurance and Recovery stats. This power doesn't need to be slotted in order to function and has no ranks.
Level 30 - Faultline OR Quicksand: This is the final choice between two powers for this Archetype.
1. Faultline: This power will deal damage to foes within 50ft and a 5ft cylinder and deal bonus damage to the enemies based on the number of Stagger stacks on them as well knock them up. Faultline will deal 10% more base damage per stack of Stagger it consumes. The special advantage of this power is called Compound Fracture that will cause this power to Root targets in place for a short time, and when the Root expires they will be knocked up.
2. Quicksand: This power will deal Crushing damage to targets, reverse repel or pull them toward our hero every 0.5 seconds for 4 seconds within 25ft and slow their movement as well. This power power has a special advantage called Repulsing Waves which will make this power pull away from our hero the enemies and have a chance to apply Stagger to all foes.
Level 35 - Unbreakable: This is a an Active Defense that will grant our hero a damage absorption shield that periodically refresh a part of its absorption based on damage taken however this effect will be reduced based on the current damage we are dealing with our attacks. The special advantage of this power is called Unchained which will apply a large amount of Break Free damage to any holds or disable affecting our hero, a stack of hold resistance and a stack of knock resistance.
Level 40 - Fissure: This power will create an erupting fissure with magma that will deal Crushing and Fire damage to targets within 50ft and a 15ft sphere for 15 seconds as well reduce their movement speed by certain percentage based on rank. Has a 15 second recharge. The special advantage of this power is called Reconstruc which will create a Healing Rune on the ground that heals allies for a small amount of HP every 2 seconds for 10 seconds. This is an Enchantment Effect for Sorcery interactions. If our hero is standing inside the Fissure with this advantage and actively blocking with Stone Shroud, the healing over time will be doubled.

The Endgame Gear refers to the items that can be unlocked by defeating Cosmic Threats (Teleiosaurus, Qwyjibo, Kigatilik and the Eidolon of Destruction) at level 40, who award Silver and Gold Champions Recognition tokens as well have a rare chance to drop cosmic secondary gear. The cosmic secondary gear can also be bought at the Champions Recognition vendors around the different maps with the respective perks. Be aware that you can only beat 3 cosmic monsters per day plus one fight against the Eidolon of Destruction and each fight will provide diminishing rewards.
