Guide Overview
Hello guys and girls, today I bring you a new and updated guide for the Cybernetic Warrior Archetype. So what does this hero do? This hero wields a highly advanced laser sword capable of striking foes and leave them burning for a short time.
This is a premium Archetype that can be purchased by Silver Players from the Zen Store or is free for Lifetime Subscribers
Main Mechanics: Radiation Effects
1. Plasma Burn: This is a Particle damage over time debuff that deals damage every second for 16 seconds. Stacks up to 5 times. This effect is present on almost all Laser Sword powers and Orbital Cannon from Gadgeteering.
2. Disintegrate: This is a debuff that lowers the resistance of the target against Particle damage by 18% for 15 seconds. This effect is present on Lightspeed Strike.
3. Burn Through: This is a debuff that lowers the resistance of the target against Crushing and Particle damage by 15% for 15 seconds. This effect is present on Chest Beam, Eye Beam and Minigun from Power Armor.
4. Overheat: This is a debuff that will cause an explosion of Particle energy on the target after 6 seconds of using a fully charged Plasma Cutter. The damage of the explosion is based on the number of stacks of Plasma Burn purged. This effect is present on Plasma Cutter.
5. Light Ray: This is the detonation effect of Particle Smash which will deal additional damage for each stack of Plasma Burn it purged. This effect is present on Particle Smash.
Special Note: You can customize the weapon(s) of this hero in the Tailors around the world to match your character designs. The plasma blade cannot be altered, but its hilt can.

Power Explanation
Level 1 - Laser Edge: This is our energy builder power that doesn't need to be ranked up in order to generate energy for us so I recommend leaving it at rank 1 and has 20% chance to apply a stack of Plasma Burn to the target. The special advantage of this power is called It Burns which will grant a chance to all hit to apply Plasma Burn instead the opening attack.
Level 1 - Lightspeed Strike: This is our combo power that will deal Particle damage to the targets within 10ft and a 120/120/30 degree cone. Has a 15/15/50% chance (based on combo hit) to apply the Plasma Burn debuff to the targets, if we are affected by the Unity buff from Particle Accelerator, these chances are doubled. The special advantages of this power are the following:
a. Particle Acceleration: Which will apply the Disintegrate debuff to all targets upon finshing this combo.
b. Legacy Code: Which will Knock down all targets upon completing the combo.
Level 6 - Lightspeed Dash: This is a movement power that will close quarters with our target dealing Particle damage performing a slash with our weapon. The special advantage of this power is called Download, this effect reduces the energy cost of our Technology (Archery, Munitions, Gadgeteering, Power Armor and Laser Sword) by 20% for 12 seconds.
Level 8 - Quantum Stabilizer: This is our Slotted Passive which will increase all our Energy damage (Sonic, Electrical and Particle), increases our resistance to all damage by a small amount and greatly increases our Particle damage resistance. When we are struck by Energy damage this power causes us to recover energy based on the amount of damage we take and the Recovery stat. Also increases our Knock resistance, and all the mentioned bonus sans the energy recovery scale with our Super Stats.
Level 11 - Lightwave Slash OR Cybernetic Tether: This is the first choice between two powers for this Archetype.
1. Lightwave Slash: This power will deal Particle damage to all foes in a 10ft sphere and on Knock them down. This power has the following special advantage:
a. Light Mend: Adds 10 seconds to the duration of our Disintegrate debuff. This duration cannot exceed the original duration of Disintegrate.
b. Burn Bright: Adds 10 seconds to the duration of our Plasma Burn debuff. This duration cannot exceed the origingal duration of Plasma Burn.
c. Download: This power now applies Download to our hero.
2. Cybernetic Tether: This power comes from the Laser Sword powerset and will deal Particle damage to a foe and pull them towards our hero within a distance of 25ft. Has a 46% - 100% chance to apply a stack of Plasma Burn, which deals Particle damage over time once every second for 16 seconds, and stacks up to 5 times and also this ability has a recharge of 10 seconds. This power has the following special advantages:
a. Recharge: This advantage will apply the Restoration self heal over time that will heal us for a small amount every 2 seconds for 6 seconds. If our health is below 20% this heal effect will be stronger on the first pulse as well the following heal pulses. Activates a shared cooldown with similar advantages of 4 seconds.
b. Burn Bright: Fully charging this power will add 10 seconds onto the duration of any Plasma Burn affecting the target. This cannot exceed the original duration of Plasma Burn.
c. Radiate: This advantage will apply the eponymous debuff to the target, causing them to have stacks of Plasma Burn with a 25% chance every 2 seconds for 10 seconds.
d. Download: This advantage will grant our hero the Download buff.
Level 14 - Particle Accelerator: This is our toggle form that will grant us stacks of Unity which increase the melee damage of our hero by a large amount and ranged damage for a lesser amount everytime we apply, refresh or rupture a Radiation Effect. We can gain a stack of this form once every 4 seconds, stacks up to 8 times and the damage bonus of this form scales with our Intelligence stat. Also increases our energy costs by 10%.
Level 17 - Luminiscent Slash: This is a single target attack that will deal Particle damage to the target and Snare them for 3.3 reducing their movement speed by 100%. This power has the following special advantages:
a. End of the Line: This advantage will cause Luminiscent Slash to refresh the duration of our Download buff as well if our energy is above 90%, this power will deal 35% more base damage, if our energy is above 70% this power will deal 30% more base damage and these bonuses do not stack with each other.
b. Radiate: This advantage will apply the eponymous debuff to the target, causing them to have stacks of Plasma Burn with a 25% chance every 2 seconds for 10 seconds.
Level 21 - Particle Wave OR Energy Wave: This is the second choice between two powers for this Archetype.
1. Particle Wave: This power will release a wave of energy to pull all enemies towards us as well apply the Plasma Burn debuff to them if they are not already affected by it. The special advantage of this power are the following:
a. Illuminate: This advantage will apply the Illuminated debuff on the targets, which will give us and our allies a 15% chance to apply the Mend buff. Mend heals for a small amount of health points.
b. Unstable Footing: This advantage will apply the Disorient debuff to the targets. Disorient lowers the enemies' damage by 10% and reduces their movement speed by 25% for 12 seconds.
2. Energy Wave: This power will deal Particle damage to all foes and Repel them a moderate distance, but when charged for at least 50% the power will knock them back (knock distance scales with Ego and Strength stat) and this power has a 25 ft sphere making it a player based area of effect ability, as well having a cooldown of 15 seconds. This power has the following special advantages.
a. Hardened Particle Matrix: which will apply a short time shield on our hero depending the number of targets caught in the blast. The base amount of absorption points per target hit is 900. Hitting 5 targets will provide a shield of 4500 absorption points.
b. Reverse Polarity: which will make this power Knock towards our hero the enemies instead of knocking them back.
c. Recharge: which will apply the Restoration self heal over time that will heal us for a small amount every 2 seconds for 6 seconds. If our health is below 20% this heal effect will be stronger on the first pulse as well the following heal pulses. Activates a shared cooldown with similar advantages of 4 seconds.
Level 25 - Unified Theory: This power is our energy unlock that will generate energy over time everytime we apply, refresh or rupture a Radiation effect. The energy return of this power scales with our Endurance and Recovery stats.
Level 30 - Laser Deflection: This is our block replacer power that can be maintained to reduce incoming damage from foes' attacks. Laser Deflection will generate energy based on the damage taken and our Recovery stat, but given the Cybernetic Warrior is locked in Melee Damage Role, this energy return works at 50% of its capacity. This power has a special advantage called Data Conversion which will grant us 33% resistance to all damage, 33% Knock resistance for 2 seconds everytime we make a melee attack, however our attacks deal 10% less damage. Costs 3 advantge points.
Level 35 - Electric Shield OR Masterful Dodge: This is the third choice between two powers for this Archetype.
1. Electric Sheath: This is our Active Offense power which will boost the damage of all attacks based on rank. Whenever our hero takes damage, we will receive an amount of energy and have a 25% chance to apply Negative Ions to the attacker. This power can be used while held or confused, assists with breaking out of Holds, increases our Energy Equilibrium and generation. Reduces our energy decay and removes the Electric Surge if present from charging Gigabolt as well prevents its application for the duration of this power which is 15 seconds. Counts as an Energy Form. The special advantage of this power is called Matter - Energy Union which will cause this power to grant our hero a damage absorption shield based on our energy pool.
2. Masterful Dodge: This power is an Active Defense which will increase our Dodge and Avoidance ratings as well increase our resistance versus damage over time effects for 15 seconds. Will place on cooldown any other Active Defense power if we happen to have more than one. The special advantage of this power is called Unchained which will apply a large amount of Break Free damage to any holds or disable affecting our hero, a stack of hold resistance and a stack of knock resistance.
Level 40 - Particle Smash OR Plasma Cutter: This is the final choice between two powers for this Archetype.
1. Particle Smash: This power will throw a disc of energy to the enemies and deal Particle damage within 25ft and has a 15ft sphere. If they are affected by our stacks of Plasma Burn, this ability will consume said debuff and deal additional damage for each stack purged, this effect is called Light Ray and also applies the Disintegrate debuff to all targets. Has a 15 seconds recharge. This power has the following special advantages:
a. Light Everlasting: This advantage will apply the eponymous buff to us and allies near of our hero, which heals for a short time every second for 10 seconds. Counts as an Enchantment for Sorcery interactions.
b. Null Value: This advantage will cause Particle Smash to Stun for 2 seconds the primary target and Knock down nearby enemies.
c. Data Leak: After the detonation effect, spreads our Plasma Burn effect to nearby targets (does not spread to the primary target). Chance to apply additional stacks for each stack that was on the primary target.
2. Plasma Cutter: This power will impale the target dealing Particle damage. On tap, it will refresh the duration of our Plasma Burn stacks. On a full charge it will consume them to place a Particle bomb called Overheat on the target that will cause the primary target to explode after 6 seconds, and the damage of this explosion affects the primary target and secondary targets around them in a 5ft area. This power has the following special advantages:
a. Encryption: Fully charging this power will Root the target in place for 13 seconds.
b. Download: This advantage will cause Plasma Cutter to apply the Download buff to us.

The Endgame Gear refers to the items that can be unlocked by defeating Cosmic Threats (Teleiosaurus, Qwyjibo, Kigatilik and the Eidolon of Destruction) at level 40, who award Silver and Gold Champions Recognition tokens as well have a rare chance to drop cosmic secondary gear. The cosmic secondary gear can also be bought at the Champions Recognition vendors around the different maps with the respective perks. Be aware that you can only beat 3 cosmic monsters per day plus one fight against the Eidolon of Destruction and each fight will provide diminishing rewards.
